Looks good, you did a great job. Impressive that you did the feather by hand with a hammer! One tip though, for feather it looks even better when the center of the feather starts from the very tip of the blade. You need to forge the tip instead of grind it in to achieve that. Kyle Royer's channel had a great video on feather damascus you should check out. Nice work though, keep up the content!

Outstanding work, great to see someone make superb patterned steel by hand and not a power hammer! Keep it up, love your work.

Hey I’ve noticed your knives are slowly growing larger! Not only that, the attention to detail is much better! Greetings my polish brother from a Hungarian!

I am one of the demonstration blacksmiths at the Weald and Downland open air museum. I work in a forge that was built in 1850. It is still run as a victorian forge, with no tools later than 1910. Trying to forge weld takes some time and skilled fire work. I just wish I had a mig welder. If you have any advice please let me know.

I think this knife has been the biggest challenge so far, but I'm happy with the final results, so it was worth a try. What's your opinion about this one?

@mark vodopich I thought about using it for decorative purposes, never to strengthen because there is no such need.

we dont see it in the video, but i hope you tempered the blade after quenching it. Because if you diddent it wil break as soon as it meet resistance. quenched steel is brittle like glass without tempering. Nevertheless, beautiful knife and pattern :)
