I’m pulling for this kid. Not cause he’s Jerry’s son, but cause the way he grew up i can relate. My father also a was a gifted athlete but I’m my own man. Never had pops around much but that’s okay too. I just made sure I do better by mines and blaze my own trail. Good luck man.

He also refused to listen to ANY praise from the media, or the "experts," however, Jerry DID hear EVERY word of criticism VERY loudly, and used this as motivation, like MJ did, only Jerry reacted more angrily, like Sterling Sharpe did (Sterling was, fittingly, Jerry's greatest on-field rival until injury cut Sterling's career way too short). Jerry maximized every bit of talent he was gifted with, and constantly worked to improve every skill for his position.
I'm wishing young man all the success in the world, as he seems to be working to earn his success.

There isn’t a shadow of a doubt that Jerry Jr. was SOLEY brought into UCLA because of his name fathers legacy based on the routes I just saw. Respectfully.

With Coach Prime as head coach of Colorado now, we all know his work ethic. And he expects every player to work hard and earn their position. I feel expect the younger rice to get playing time, and show his skills and Talent as a wide receiver. And not as Jerry Rice's son, but as himself.
