Won't take that long In my opinion. But I rather see AI expanding a content of a game than being used to overwrite a created one. Imagine playing HL2 in a mode where entire newer neighboorhods full of enemies and random npcs appears, following a pattern, like a expansion of the world you play . I don't even demand dialogues from the NPCs, just making-sense texts and I would be fine.

I hope that one day progress will reach the point where remastering games will be done by uploading all the game files to artificial intelligence and it will completely redraw absolutely all the textures itself according to the given style and compile everything taking into account changes in the plot and graphics, including lighting and so on like that💎🙏🎈
