It's always tricky to land in the summer at day time. The warm air crawls slowly to higher levels and gets mixed with the colder air up above. This leads to sometimes severe turbulences altough the weather seems nice and sunny. Besides : It's always mean to land in Germany. 😅😅😅😅

Asiana and Lufthansa are both star alliance members. Did you choose to claim your baggage 🧳 at Frankfurt? Could you not check your baggage all the way through to Seoul, which would have allowed you guys to not have to leave the airport? Having your baggage checked through means you can board a later flight from your origin as you do not have to claim baggage, leave the airport, then re-enter the airport, and check in your baggage again.
It didn't matter because I had a 6 hour layover. I wanted to get out of the airport to get some fresh air And anyway I had no checked baggage, only my big backpack
