- I visited this wonderful little abandoned cottage just outside of Eastbourne with a friend, found the back door was unlocked, so we headed inside.
Unfortunately I have no history on this place what so ever.
Visit our Facebook page for the photo shoot from this location and many more.

Nice place, and nice to see that the vandals haven't found it. Just subscribed to your channel. Thank you for sharing.
Nice exploration guys!
Good to see more UK explorers!
Great video! 👌
For some reason I was expecting there to be a car just sitting in the garage when you opened it lol.
It's a shame that they left because parts of the house were in really good condition. In a few years that's probably going to be in a lot worse state
really good condition that's a nice little cottage great explore guys
That's a nice cottage. Poor birds :-(
And here I am desperately looking for a cottage to rent in Eastbourne and I can't find it because no one rents to me since I am self-employed.
3:35 OMG that's a Dyson DC03 hoover!!! I want it!!!
Well thats a nice house and not really in bad repair so whats it doing empty? Its such a shame for it to be empty & decaying. So many families would love that place.
Maybe councils should be able to take charge of any place left empty for more than ten months, (unless the owners have registered the place as temporarily empty and made clear their intention to occupy/convert/sell the place within five months). Laws might need to be changed to permit this in cases where the previous owner has died & the heir has yet to be identified.
The authorities would do any essential repairs, put anything left by the owners into safe storage and let them to homeless families. The owners could receive rent, less a management and maintenance fee. When the owner is ready to take responsiblity for the property, they can give notice of that and reclaim the house, subject to the councils tenants being given five months to find somewhere else. The owners would have to pay any outstanding repairs costs or wait untill the rent the property has earned is enough to cover them.
As far as I can see this would be a win, win, win, win, situation for the owner, the local authorities, the local community, and homeless families.
Maybe some people are too busy/ ill/ far away to deal with a property they dont really need but it is plain irresponsible to just let it decay, unless it is truely beyond repair. I have seen properties sit empty slowly falling apart, looking an eyesore, attracting vermin and crimes, affecting local property prices etc for more than thirty years! This is plain crazy when so many places could offer so many benefits to so many people and communities.
Its even partly furnished, why havent the owners done any essential repairs and let it out? Waste of resources.
If u go near the crumbles there is an abandoned care home and nursery. Was in there the other day and saw what looked like beds and clothes so people are obviously living there
theres a security guard thats in there now
Yup. We were almost caught... Well I wasn't but my friend was. They now have dogs roaming the place. It's a no go.
What a nice place it just needs all that rubbish thrown away and gardens and lawns done and fix the ceiling then it would be all good to live in it is going to waste
Why they've left these houses despite their good condition?
What's the address?? Is it still there?
where is this place
can someone DM me the location because I like these plases and take pic for insta would really love to go here
