Here is a compilation video of all of the trailers regarding Sonic Robo Blast 2 so far from 2000 to current 2019! How far Sonic Team Junior has come.

Sonic Robo Blast has been with me since I was a child. I was born around the time the release in 2000. And seeing it grow with me especially for this long is baffling. I'm impressed that they were this loyal to a project 20 years later. It makes me think back to the good old days of 2006-2009 where me, my brother, and my sister would all hop on multiplayer and run around a Zim inspired map creating our own versions of the characters like a White version of Tails that we named Taila something my sister uses to this day for her social media accounts. I need to try the new versions of this game now that so much time has passed. I believe the last time I played the game was around 2012.

Pretty sad that the original people don’t work on the game anymore. But I can tell that Sonic Team Junior is dedicated in this project.

Man, I discovered Sonic Robo Blast 2 in 2019, when I saw the game, I was enchanted by it, my favorite character was Sonic, without even thinking twice I downloaded the game, I had fun, and today I'm proud of this project, and how He's been alive for 25 years, Sonic Robo Blast 2 is perhaps one of the best 3D Sonic fangames I've ever played. Thank you Sonic Team JR for never forgetting this project, and for keeping it alive for all this time.
Sonic Team JR, you guys are incredible. I hope that your project will always be more recognized by having more mods, more updates, more experience, new movements, more ports, everything.

Wow this game has evolved a lot. Now I only have started becoming a sonic fan in 2021 and became a fan ever since. And seeing what a community evolve in a rapid two decades in literal minutes is amazing! I hope the people behind this game (sonic team junior) and the sonic community keep strong.

We can even see some scrapped content in some of the trailers, like a different version of castle eggman and egg rock in the 2018 2.2 trailer
Back when you had to slam into walls as Tails to get where you wanted to go, because there was no control of your direction in the air.

Seeing a trailer from the year 2000 makes me so old. And at that time, the Sonic fandom was more civilized than what it is now.

It's amazing to see how the trailers evolved over the years, alongside the gameplay.
It would be fun to mod this zones in all their old versions into the new SRB2, I know they doesn't have the best level design compared to now, but it would be nice to remember the old days.

damn, I played this game when I was.. like 7?? on a neighbour's house and I loved it a lot!! it was so cute and amazing, I loved to explore every zone with Tails.. then around 2014 I saw videos of it with Multiplayer!? I WAS AMAZED!! I went to download it from a random site and I didn't know how to put the Online mode xD (it turned out it was a really old version lmao) so I found the SRB2 site and then I got it! and here I am. This game helped me a lot in bad times, I found myself being happy with it, I can't ask for more.. SRB2 is the best thing I have in my life
hmm,then it was either 2.0 pra 2.1,2.1 released in 2014,but mabye it was earlier in the year.
Holy moly 2.2 was the biggest updates (sprites,texture,hud,level layouts,musics,levels,3Dmodels,characters)
Bro, this will probably go down as the best Sonic fan game for me, since I think it's the first one I've ever played. I first heard about it back during the 2.0 era, which made up my childhood.
Amazing how long this game was in development for, and actually went all the way through it

whats interesting is that the old greenflower zone music (digital) seems to be older than i thought. i thought it was made around 2003 for the demo but it turns out to be made in 2000 for the trailer.

I got this game working on my red Laptop and The performance is really good for a Laptop with 482mb left on it! and the minute i discovered fang is in this game, I started Bouncing around in every level. This game’s a blast! And every time it would say “You’ll be back soon, Right?” I would say Yes and I would play a different version or just restart it just in case of glitches
This game is amazing! I played it and i enjoyed i tryed old versions and i still love it! Keep the good work Sonic Team Junior.
I know the first trailer was like an early dev stage of the game but i like that the trailer says: "beautiful 3D environments" idk that just made me have a bit of a giggle.
Edit: new favorite sentence from trailer 2: "you can even hurl yourself off cliff!!!" Wow old SRB2 trailers were crazy.

So tails used to use Sonic 3 sprites for flying anamation and used Sonics jump anamation

I started playing srb2 i believe when 2.1 came out i think idk but i was a wee lad so ye but i remember i couldn't figure out how to get the game to save after replaying that version i now know why it saves after every completed zone but i then remembered it one day and decided to download it again and thats when 2.2 came out so everything look different from what i remember and now this is one of my favorite sonic fan games.

I have a theory that the old March 2000 Prototype layouts were still a thing in the September 2000 SAGE Trailer (0:12), and I am very sure it is.
I like the Revamped Soundtrack more.
I think it would be really really cool if they released the original layouts for the stages, like Techno Hill Zone

I’d rather not. The devs were already held back by ex-leaders who didn’t want to improve the project, so being under SEGA means the higher ups will be controlling their project.
Just have fun for what it is right now.
I would rather if they leave SRB2 intact, but shoulf work along Sega to make a new Sonic game with a new engine based on this one.

Hey let me tell you that the 2000 Trailer is poorly done that even a kid can recreate that just with Wondershare's Filmora 9(Please use,it's free with watermark).
let's remember that the trailer was done in 2000, likely on ancient windows movie maker. Widely accessible & powerful video editing software was not something that was available back then. (Premiere did exist but you had to be prepared to pay up) It may not have aged well, but is more than acceptable for its time considering the limitations and that it did what it needed to do: show off the game.
Also Filmora 9's watermark is HUGE and is what made me never touch the thing again after trying it once. There are better editors out there for FREE without a giant watermark, and better paid options like Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects.
