Tremendous fishing mate, really liked how you cleared your spots to fish on and it paid for you to catch some lovely carp👌cheers Dan👍
Daniel Walker Thank you Daniel, I have had the anchor lead for years used it loads of times it’s very effective
excelllent video ..german rig is my first choice youve done well indeed to catch those numbers hard water the pitts them carp seen it all before..thanks again enjoyed watching again.
Thank you James. I think rigs like the Ronnie are over used at the minute and people are popping baits up even when they have no need and carp become wary of them. After speaking with a few people at the pits it became clear that they were getting far better results on bottom baits than pop ups. I think with a wofter or balanced bottom bait you can still get that reset ability that is the real benefit of the Ronnie while using something more natural looking like a bottom bait, the German or turbo German is an adaption of a once very popular stiff rig.
Great video Jason Well done on the fish.
Russ cooper appreciate the support Russ especially from anglers like yourself that have caught big fish from difficult waters. I have seen your earlier films on girton you not doing anymore these days?
Keith, Margaret said Tesco only had one chicken pie left she’s got it so don’t panic love
Great weekend fishing pal. This is how it done just keep going and you will get there. 👍👍
Mark Earle Thank you Mark hope so just trying to help a few people along the way 👍
👍👍
Hi Jay loving the vids mate, you are 100% right with both weed types as far as I can tell. The 1st time I fished a1 pits pit 3 was in that peg or the one to left and I had 6 fish out with 4 of them been just over 20lbs. If I remeber right there is a shallow bar in frunt of the peg, I was fishing just over it.
markmason13 Hi Mark thanks for the support. Good session you had there👍. It was far too weedy to be looking for bars but your probably right . I showed the weed so the people that know like you can tell what you will be fishing in. The milfoil is more easily broken up and you can get fish through it with steady pressure and sensible tackle the Canadian is a different story
Brilliant Vlog mate 👍

Carpy Chris Thanks Chris we’ve all been there struggled and blanked, sometimes you just need that little bit of help and you start catching on your own rigs and bait
@@waitingfortheweekend2441 very true m8 very true I had herd rummers that a1 pits are flooded due to all the rain we've had hope this isn't the case 👍👍
Carpy Chris think it’s just the river that is shut mate. Just been to Farndon and it’s in the fields there and still rising
Cracking session fella subbed yaa
Lee Brown Thanks for the support Lee, not the biggest fish I know but it’s about making the most of what’s in front of you on the day and also the weather which we have all been through this September and October

addicted to angling thanks mate like your channel name 👍
Hi mate just come across your vlog enjoyed watching it, just subbed 👍
Tommy Mc Hi Tommy thanks for the support means a lot 👍
You do some great vids on those pits man, really informative. Thinking of doing a 48 in april, but if its rammed due to being closed for a while, i was wondering if you could point me in the direction of any other waters nearby ill have a chance of a few 20s? Tight lines and thanks for the vids👍👌
Thank you Stephen kind words. The pits do get busy but there is usually room somewhere with there being 6 lakes to choose from. Other options would be Embryo Norton Disney if it’s open or Trent view but that is booking only and very likely full if you try to book on the day especially at the weekend.
Nice video I haven’t fished A1pitts Pitts in a couple of years but pit 3 is the runs waters ... pit 4-5 are the harder pitts with pit 5 being the hardest I think ... would like to see a video on one of those 2
@P- Man thanks mare, if you check out my channel Rig evolution and underwater carp fishing are both filmed on pit 4. My next one is also on 4. Pit 5 bangers sees me stalking on pit 5 with a good result 😉👍
Great video, im thinking of fishing there tomorrow with my son, i will be carp fishing and he will fish for anything, plus we will be night fishing, which pit would u recommend
I mark it’s really busy at the minute with the COVID thing so depends where you can get. Pit 3 is your best chance of catching maybe 2 also as the fish are very visual on these lakes. If you are on pits 1 to 4 fish love the margins and tree lines so don’t ignore them. Put a few small pellets or chopped up boilies in not too much and fish a chopped up boilie or cut down pop up over the top. Nothing too obvious or too much or they will spook off it
Again nice video
BTW: it’s me Alex changed my name again 😂
Slurpz thanks Alex 👍
Do u recommend racking the swim as well, and where did u get gadget to clear the weed thanks
Hi mark yes definitely rake the swim if you are fishing very close in on pit 2 or 3 if it’s weedy and you are near to some overhanging trees pits 1 and 4 do not have anywhere near as much weed so no need. I find my small weed rake better when fishing further out like in the video as it causes less disturbance, I’ve had it many years from a tackle shop that is no longer there, but I’m sure you could find something similar good luck with your session and keep an eye on the margins they love to be close in 👍
thats a turbo german rig,the german has bit of corn the same ,but no qc on the hook, search turbo german
Phil thanks for that Phil will look it up I will apologise now as I have said the same thing in my next film
Wasnt this guy in itv police series The Bill?
How did you put the korda heli safe on the Nash dcam leader?
Hi mate sorry for the late reply. I pass the leader loop through the half swivel on the Korda heli safe and then pass the loop through the other end of the leader the opposite loop if that makes sense, then pull tight to the half swivel.Pretty much how people do quick change PVA bags
Nice video - in difficult conditions - have subbed and will check your other ones out - thanks
Ray Sugden Thanks Ray we’ve all had enough of this rain now. Appreciate the support 👍
