@@wonderwalledit I'm tired of people keeping up false information and making fun of what he and Jada did in the past. Tupac has been going through a lot. He is dealing with dark times, and I feel sorry for Jada. Yes, she talks too much, but I can tell she is dealing with depression. Oversharing, codependency and narcissistic tendencies can be childhood trauma responses, when someone's grown up with an unstable parent. They want total openness, but end up oversharing and childhood neglect causes the person to overfocus on their own emotions.

Because these women are sexy, intelligent, outspoken & kind of messy, there's this absurd perspective we have of them somehow being cold, invulnerable and the ones pulling the strings in a dysfunctional relationship. It never occurs to us that THEY could be the ones with the short straw in the power dynamic, and even when it's revealed they are, we still somehow try to make it the women's fault. It gets worse when all we hear are the opinions of men who wanted these women and couldn't have them, or who wanted to control these women and couldn't. Even before her memoir, she humiliated Will on her show with her affair (not "entanglement") with her son's best friend. If the roles were reversed, Will would have been canceled. With her memoir, she's getting major backlash. She wants back into the limelight. But at the cost of Will's career/reputation AND her 2 children's mental health. She's narcissistic to the core.

When Red Table Talk first came out, I loved the show. We got a chance to know Jada's mother Gaby and Willow in a way we hadn't seen them before which was pleasant to see generational women doing this. It was a great idea. They covered some tough topics no one discussed and helped others through their traumas as well by opening the platform for them to talk it out. Somehow, things started going left when she started over sharing about her and Will. There is nothing wrong initially with sharing things one has overcome to help others like Gabys drug addiction, difficult times and struggles in the family upbringing, and so forth. Will is now perceived as weak to the public because of what she said and how he responds to it. Jada opened that door, then Will counteracted by writing his book, which was his way of telling the story. Now, nothing they've said can be unheard nor what they've done unseen. I always loved Jada as an actress, and she is a good one. It's a shame it's all over shadowed by this. Yes, Jada and Will have gone through tauma that would have been best handled in private between them so that they couldve told their story from a healed place which would have been more receptive by the public from both of them. That way once healed, any book they would have come out with would be about how they got on the other side and be a help to others....not a joke or something that makes the other look weak but coming ftom a strong place. It's not the story being shared that I'm sure so many folks can relate to that is the real issue, but it is how the story is being told. It should have been shared from an honest and healed place, but it doesn't look to me to be coming from that place.

He can't possibly healed from that at the time of writing a graphic book about Jada. And saying he's always wanted Jada even during his first marriage is not something a healed person says at the expense of who could be listening like his ex. It's a level of disrespect. So many of his actions or reactions don't come from healing but from a thing called "saving face".

I find it odd Jada claimed to not believe in marriage but seems to want to hold on to her marriage for dear life. Seems like a contradiction.
I feel like she tries hard to be the 'cool girl' when underneath that she is insecure.

@@MsDezB1 Good Lord Will really said that??? No wonder HE comes off as narcissistic and lost like many celebs. It's because he EXPECTS us to see ourselves in everything he does and that's why he's always had trouble connecting with the black community on a much grounded level.

    Karine,
Thank you for treating Jada so gracefully in this video. It was well balanced. Many people don't understand the effect that childhood trauma can have. I believe she is trying to balance healing, being a celebrity, and having non-traditional views/opinions. I wish her well, although I wish she would/could seek her healing privately. Her celebrity status will never truly allow for that. There is always someone willing to expose. Some assistant, nanny, family friend will tell it all for a few bucks. So she is doing this very publicly. I too want to be removed from the group chat. Unfortunately, I don't think any of us will be.

I feel like 5-7 years ago I was saying to myself I am so tired of the Smith family. It’s season 754 of Smith family headline gossip. They’ve got to be one of the elite’s favorite families. They are just glued to the world stage indefinitely. It’s ridiculous! Like rotate a couple families

I think a lot of the criticism towards Will for slapping Chris has softened after Jada saying they've been separated; it diverted that critcism from Will to Jada. This is huge for Will as an actor. People might forgive him and more people will want to watch his movies. It has turned him into an under-dog to root for. I think what Jada is doing will financially benefit both her and Will.

Because it really dismantles this online /black Twitter theory that Will is being ‘humiliated’
Like he clearly doesn’t think so the way he his publicly standing by Jada.
Also, the public concern for him shows his popularity is at an all time high. And if that now translates into future projects being a huge success, well then it’s a Hollywood game well played

Tupac was already engaged to another woman, so this story of him asking her to marry him and also them not having any romamtic attraction is really confusing, the pieces don't logically fit. However if she says, that's what happened then okay. I do think that Jada knew what she wanted at a young age, this marriage should never have happened, but it's also confusing why she stuck it out for 20 something years. Also this separation story sounds a bit crazy. Will felt they could be over but weren't, she says they were over and then he says he got her back and still call each other partners, implying that Jada still doesn't like being married or being called a wife smh. It could all be for clout or money, we can't take Hollywood seriously. Another great video Karine.👏

Will Smith loves Jada Pinkette Smith! Tupac loved her!! Her husband is supporting her and so would Tupac if he was here! They dgaf about y'all opinions; the truth is the truth period. We should support her (like her husband is doing) whether her story makes us or him uncomfortable or not. It's crazy to me how ppl want to silence her but Will is allowed to write his own memoir and no one makes a peep! Sounds like misogyny to me.

During the first part of this video, I had trouble not allowing myself to say “oh PLEASE!” But the middle and ending were VERY open minded and wise. My period jury has already convicted Jada of over the top narcissism and self promotion/absorption. BUT - there may be a retrial based on your observations. Please know that I’m truly not judgmental-it’s just been a lot with her.

I just wonder did Jada really help August Alsina in the long run? Cuz we all know he's been real sick for years and on top of that, raising a few of his nieces... I think his "entanglement" with Jada did more harm than good. He's forever going to be known as Jada's side piece which overshadows his talent.
Edit: when she said I just want to feel good it made me think of Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton in that movie Monster's Ball.
Wasn't Diddy on death row in that movie? Now it's art imitating life. Cuz his career is on death row.
