Oversharing, codependency and narcissistic tendencies can be childhood trauma responses, when someone's grown up with an unstable parent. They want total openness, but end up oversharing and childhood neglect causes the person to overfocus on their own emotions.

Apparently, Jada's sex addiction among other addictions has been her first love, and her arrogance has gotten the best of her. Her children are confused and disconnected from reality. It is a tragedy. If course we heard about the open marriage, the orgies and we all saw on national television Will kissing his own son in the mouth. The Heavens are crying!
I can't find the words for this horror. Some things are just crystal clear in spite of all the lies and denials.
Too bad you can't be an addict for the truth. When you have problems you seek God and professional help. You don't just continue the curse, make excuses and pass it down to children that depend on you to love them enough to give them 2000 percent. This is totally unacceptable. My heart breaks for their children they didn't have a chance. 😢

Because these women are sexy, intelligent, outspoken & kind of messy, there's this absurd perspective we have of them somehow being cold, invulnerable and the ones pulling the strings in a dysfunctional relationship. It never occurs to us that THEY could be the ones with the short straw in the power dynamic, and even when it's revealed they are, we still somehow try to make it the women's fault. It gets worse when all we hear are the opinions of men who wanted these women and couldn't have them, or who wanted to control these women and couldn't. I got to spend a few hours with Jada, Will, Jaden, Willow and both grandmothers on a casual setting back in '04/'05. First, she had no makeup on and she was absolutely STUNNING in person. Both were hands on parents and very kind to me and their kids and mothers. Will, watch/played with the kids, it was very normal and nice.

This lady is the queen of contractions!
    1. PAC and I never got intimate. Our first kiss was disgusting. We had zero attraction.
    - PAC proposed to me. (Btw PAC was engaged before his death)
    2. I never wanted to marry. I cried down the aisle. I don’t blablabla
    - Moved in with Will immediately he asked her out. Moved all the way from Baltimore.
Got pregnant for Will shortly (touché). Married within 3 months of the pregnancy.
    3. I hated being pregnant !
    - was having unprotected sex shortly after landing a catch (Will) and kept the pregnancy.
    4. I was miserable all through my marriage.
-I cried 40 days straight when Will said he was done with me and our marriage.
    5. I have alopecia
    - flaunting head full of hair with no bald patches
A narcissist will always twist narratives to be a victim. Good or bad life realities.

When Red Table Talk first came out, I loved the show. We got a chance to know Jada's mother Gaby and Willow in a way we hadn't seen them before which was pleasant to see generational women doing this. It was a great idea. They covered some tough topics no one discussed and helped others through their traumas as well by opening the platform for them to talk it out. Somehow, things started going left when she started over sharing about her and Will. There is nothing wrong initially with sharing things one has overcome to help others like Gabys drug addiction, difficult times and struggles in the family upbringing, and so forth. Will is now perceived as weak to the public because of what she said and how he responds to it. Jada opened that door, then Will counteracted by writing his book, which was his way of telling the story. Now, nothing they've said can be unheard nor what they've done unseen. I always loved Jada as an actress, and she is a good one. It's a shame it's all over shadowed by this. Yes, Jada and Will have gone through tauma that would have been best handled in private between them so that they couldve told their story from a healed place which would have been more receptive by the public from both of them. That way once healed, any book they would have come out with would be about how they got on the other side and be a help to others....not a joke or something that makes the other look weak but coming ftom a strong place. It's not the story being shared that I'm sure so many folks can relate to that is the real issue, but it is how the story is being told. It should have been shared from an honest and healed place, but it doesn't look to me to be coming from that place.

Yikes. No way Will can be healed after throwing away his career accomplishments on a moment to slap a jerk on stage on a national tv. He can't possibly healed from that at the time of writing a graphic book about Jada. And saying he's always wanted Jada even during his first marriage is not something a healed person says at the expense of who could be listening like his ex. It's a level of disrespect. So many of his actions or reactions don't come from healing but from a thing called "saving face".

Imo, she is a toxic narcissist based on her childhood, both spoiled with attn & trauma from her parent's abandonment. They are also pathological liars amongst other toxic traits. That aside, narcs are both cunning & dangerous. She really took off being aligned with Will and again imo, I believe she if not Will also are beards, maybe for one another but I believe she has something over him otherwise why would he put up with her toxic garbage? They likely came to an understanding to become uber rich staying together and producing things, his movies her red table talk show ++. Either way it's a toxic yet profitable alignment somehow. There are LOADS of celebs who are rich and famous then hate each other and actually divorce, Brangelina anyone? So this "entanglement" of theirs has a secret bk story.

Karine, you raise a couple of good points... If the kiss between Pac and Jada was such a turn off, why *would* he propose? Maybe the relationship was deeper than physical? Also, her saying she doesn't care what folks think...then she releases a book and goes on this tour to tell her side of the story (which she has every right to). If she really didn't care, she'd be like Sade. Pop up to drop her art and then, *poof*, disappear again. No explanations. No nuthin'.
I didn't like folks getting on her for cheating on Will. Google Will and Heidy de la Rosa. I'm sure there were others and I wouldn't be surprised if those others included Eva Mendes and Margot Robbie.
I watched Jada's Diary of a CEO interview yesterday. Before that, I thought, instead of telling us all this, she should really seek a good therapist. Maybe/hopefully, her book was therapeutic for her.
So many interviews are about her and Tupac, her and Will. She is more than the men in her life. Personally, I think she's an incredible actress.

The Smiths are a study. Its interesting to see everyone's takes and they are all so different with a lot of valid points. The video is great. Will cares about his image, so he praises Jada publicly and defends her. It makes him look weak, but it keeps peers and the public on his side. Jada doesn't care about her image, so she is fine w/ being the villain bc she is profiting still. If she isn't making money, Jada is quiet. I have some empathy for both, more for the children (no matter how old they are). It's a lot of stuff w/ them. I kinda feel like if Red Table Talk didn't delve so much into their private lives, we'd be like bring on the book instead of what, now? 🤷🏾‍♀️
She is also full of contradictions, like ppl have time to dig and find old interviews that dispute things. They are truly a study.

I just wonder did Jada really help August Alsina in the long run? Cuz we all know he's been real sick for years and on top of that, raising a few of his nieces... I think his "entanglement" with Jada did more harm than good. He's forever going to be known as Jada's side piece which overshadows his talent.
Edit: when she said I just want to feel good it made me think of Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton in that movie Monster's Ball.
Wasn't Diddy on death row in that movie? Now it's art imitating life. Cuz his career is on death row.

She's just throwing her entire family under the bus and then running them over with it right afterwards too. She can heal without talking about herself publicly, but she's doing it for promotional reasons, not for health purposes. She's selling her book of blatant victimhood for financial and reputational gain.
