I am not a big fan of turn based games but this one really caught my attention, good job.

Mechanically this is just crazy, hope it gets the attention it deserves both from players and its devs ! I can easily see it becoming a cult classic, though that will require some serious work presentation-wise

47:57 speaking of open mind... please give Erannorth Chronicles a shot :P That game is vastly undercovered by content creators, and it's an amazing deckbuilder rpg with a ton of mechanical depth and race/class variety. Not to mention the ease of modding it.

Since you can cast spells directly from the book, it would be nice to see more hotbars :)
There are now optional hotbars on the side of the screen (they appear once you start dragging a spell and if you drop the spell in the hotbar it will stay visible)
im already imagining the backseating on this game... hey retro, you couldve cast X spell then walk 3 meters to the southeast chain these 3 spells together then walk 2 meters back north, followup by swapping with X enemy usin bloat on these 2 enemies and the knockback wouldve put u right next to the next enemy ready to push him into another pack of enemies to bloat him and blow them all up winning the mission a ENTIRE ONE WHOLE ROUND earlier!
I suspect this kinda thing will go well with Twitchtv :)

I don't comment often but after watching this playthrough this game looks very interesting. I think the mechanics are really robust and compelling. I think if they did polish up some of the UI it would be extremely beneficial. What are the devs plans on the release of the game? Any sort of Beta Period or EA?

This looks really fun and interesting. However the visuals (graphics, UI, etc.) are too much for me to get past. I hope they will take some time to polish everything before release.
7:30 How would you 'spruce' that up? It's a tip box that even has an animated example. Clean and simple....no errors or bugs...smooth and clean
The animated example is great. Everything else screams "template UI" or sci-fi at best. It just isn't thematically cohesive or pleasing in any way. Lower case white standard font improperly sized on a gray background is about as un-spruced up as it gets lol.
Game is god-tier, it was literally the only issue I could point out.

I'm trying to remember the name of a game very similar to this.... probably it was inspired by it
The stamina is the only really unsteady part of it to me, it's hard to guess how far you can go on so much stamina. While I appreciated the freedom, I think this is one game that would benefit from the standardization of a grid system.
I felt the same way until the F key showing the distance was explained
