I own a 99 f350, 7.3 superduty, lariat, crew cab, dually, as well as a 06, f350, 6.0 Superduty King Ranch crew cab srw, both 4x4, and after having the lighted moon visor on my old GMC dually, I removed it from my 99. They do have their purpose, but like you, I’m not a fan of the look either.
