Instead of waiting the 30 seconds, I go from pinky to thumb. By the time you’re done with your thumb your pinky nail is definitely dry. Makes the process go by a lot faster and you’re not wasting any time just sitting and waiting 🙈
Yesterday I had this done at my local beauty college by fantastic student for $10! I chose a gorgeous bright coral / flamingo pinkish orange shade ( # 07) This is the first time I’ve EVER had acrylic nails , or any manicure etc in my life. I am so happy with how shiny and durable they are and hold up so well as I do normal housework, dishes etc. The best part is that the color is solid , not just a polish on top of the nail.And she shaped them so well to the way ( shape & length) that I prefer on my personal preference that looks good on my fingers.Dont be afraid to patronize your local beauty school!

Girl. Those look like some ‘beautiful buttercream icing on a wedding cake’ nails! I love them. That matte finish is EVERYTHING for those colors.

Tip after u file dip powder put some activaor again before putting top coat or mate top coat saves ur gel brushes from clumping Love em ❤

I usually add a few drops of pure acetone to monomer when I'm doing flowers so it sets up faster. Thank you for reviewing this kit. I was wondering about the Azure products. 💕

@@johannarodriguez4771 Most powders and liquids are similar, so I don't discriminate when using them for flowers or decorations. I would *always* use monomer and powder from the same company if I were putting it on a nail to bond it.
I have not used the powders/liquids in the video, but I'm sure they're okay for practice. It is said by professionals that it is better to practice with the liquid and powder system you will use for bonding nails because then you can work out the issues with handling and the powder to liquid ratio for that specific system.

@@johannarodriguez4771 The acetone added to the monomer helps the monomer evaporate faster, so a lamp that supplies heat would also help the evaporation/setting process of the polymer.

How do you use the brush saver?
@@madelinechoate1470 the brush saver is for when your brush hardens up. just stick the brush in the bottle and lightly shake it I usually leave mine in for a day and then take it out.
The final nails are so cute! The flowers came out amazing.

1) that design is amazing. Haven't seen that done with dip before. 2) I felt trolled when you called them a cute little sporty length. To me those are LOOONG like talons. I always wear my nails super short.
You make dip powder look so easy!! Mine always turn out super lumpy. 🥺 But, watching you makes me want to keep trying. 💜
I never have much luck either. My nails always end up being ripped off by me out of pure frustration. Because everyone especially our beautiful talented Evi makes this process look so easy. But for me it's a nightmare. Which sucks because I do want to be able to do my nails! UGH!!

I love doing dip nails and I have a Similar kit from azure with a lot more colors. I seriously recommend to all beginners. I use a primer and my set last longer.
can you do a tutorial on how you file so good after all the layers of dip powder are on? i feel like i can never file them that smooth after activator

I find if you put the powder in a small salt shaker. Works great if you're doing a whole nail if you're trying to do a French dip it's better to dip.

I bought them from watching your channel and really wanted a easier way to do my nails besides the gel full cover method. I really love the finished product! I never would have come up with it, but it's super cute!
I bought this kit a few months ago and used it on long natural nails. Maybe I need more practice on perfect application but there was lifting within a couple days😩. The color didn't chip or fade at all, just lifted.
The 3d art at the end was gorgeous! :)

OMG! This is gorgeous! My nails have been so grinchy... Hiding them seems the best option, but I'm hesitant because so many products warn they aren't meant for damaged nails, and mine peel and chip. All these different UA-cam nail tutorials got me confused about drying and moisturizing the nails. Regardless, thanks for this tutorial! I wanna learn what to do with my nails without UV lights.

Evie add acetone to the monemer when doing 3d, it helps the acrylic set faster. Especially when using a dip powder.
Those look awesome!! I love dip powder but it doesn't like me I've used my kit 3 times and all 3 times I've gotten what they call the dip flu but my nails looked good!!!

I had the same issue with small jars, I found a dip powder catcher which saved my life. I can't use a scooper for the powder I end up getting it every where which is a waste and this completely solved the problem.
I wish I wasn't allergic to dip liquids! I was absolutely in love with the end result of my one and only dip set I did with makartt products, but then I had a horrific rattling cough for 2 weeks.
There are small brands who make dip flu free dip liquids! I have an allergy reaction to regular dip liquids as well. In the dip community it’s called the dip flu 🙈
Same here all 3 times I've dipped I've had a reaction it makes me sad !
I wear a mask when I’m filing or dipping. I do get dip flu but it only lasts a few days and it’s not real severe just a runny nose. I put a standard clear nail polish on my natural nail bed or a rubber base Air dry polish before I use any dip liquids! I don’t use monomer because it gives me a severe headache. And my gel polishes have to be Hema-free! I’m very careful not to blow around any of the acrylic dust while I’m doing my nails and like I said I wear a mask and then I wash my arms and in my face in my hands really well when I finished doing my nails!
Some people use a gel base coat very thin layer and dip their nails sprinkle it over there now and then cure Under lamp.
I absolutely love the way they turned out.

I’ve used these products and they are great for the price. Kiara Sky dip powder kit is about 5 times as much and the product is better but not enough to justify the price. I’d rebuy this for sure.

I love doing dip powder.... cup cake liners are a long nails best friend. Dump into the liner, then dip.
