This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. In the ensuing years, our population has doubled. We eat more meat, fly more often, use more energy, and produce more stuff. Fortunately, our understanding has also changed. Decades of careful observation have given us a detailed picture of how Earth is responding to our habits. The past is clear. What will the future look like? It depends on the choices we make today.

Basically it's been 50 years of even more unsustainable practices. So 50th Anniversary Earth Day is just a reminder of how little society has come to fixing any of its problems. Good job us wow.
Until watching this video, I was never reminded of my planet, earth, but now I knew about our planet getting sick, so I set my mind on working hard for our planet. therefore, if we know it, we can overcome it
I didn't know much about Earth Day, but I will celebrate Earth Day from now on.
What they don't tell you, is that the impact humans have on the environment is ABSOLUTELY MINUSCULE compared to natural processes. Even if we had zero emissions, the Earth would be the same temperature(or at best, half a Fahrenheit degree less). It's just the natural process of the Earth for its temperature and carbon levels to change. Honestly, it shows just how easy we have it. Our lives are going so great that we can worry about pointless things like global warming. You think people in poor, war-torn countries care about global warming? No! They care about the *real* issues. And it's time we did, too.
I think I've been so indifferent to the Earth until now. From now on, I will practice way to protect our Earth, even from the smallest things.
After wathching this video I realize that the Earth is getting hurt a lot. So, I think that I should practice activities for the environment that I can do.
