For a really good senior demonstration the character Morgan from the TV show The Walking Dead does some very easy, yet challenging moves once it is applied in your life. There is also Jō Yoga which fuses the flexibility of yoga with the dexterity of Jō.

Those we’re some great moves! I practiced them with my stick I had for a long time and it’s so thin that it’s kinda hard to use for each move

Try to find a jo staff, im sure amazon has at least one.
Take a brook handle, it'll be long enough for your needs and practice.
