Nothing yet, I’ve been searching everywhere, came across an ep27 relay buy have no clue where it plugs into. Debating on just giving in and getting resistors because I’m pretty sure that’s the problem
@@kennethsteele14 have you found a fix? Yea. I can’t get them to work either. They turn on for 1 flash then back to the white. When when parking lights are off, the switchback turn signal won’t turn Amber. Even when my headlights are on the turn signals won’t turn on.
I have a set of headlights coming that look exactly like these. I'm somewhat confused at this point as to which wires connect where. Where do I connect the brown and yellow wires to get the DRL switchback/sequential feature to work, and is there a controller built in somewhere to make this all happen as expected? I'm not much of an electrician but with a few helpful suggestions I can usually get the job done.
Yello wire to hot wire on your turn signal bulbs , brown wire to parking lamps and black to ground is the easiest way. Yes there is a controller that takes care of the rest.
@@BeyondTheRaptor Thank you for your help. I thought I would have three wires to connect but the units came with plug and play connectors and something is not right with them. When I activate turn signals I get one amber flash from the DRL and the OEM bulb, and then they go dark. This also throws the circuit into hyper flash mode. Did you have the need for resistors in your units to prevent hyper flash? Also, by "hot wire on the turn signal bulbs" I assume you mean line that activates flash, since the brown wire is getting power from the parking(side marker) lights. Thanks again.
I'm building a 13 f150 5.0 street beast and you're videos have helped answer some questions I have had on areas I was indecisive from the headlights to the paddle shifters ty
can you explain what you did to rewire the drl's . I am not worried about better lighting as I have an iron cross bumper with 2 driving lights for better night time driving in the back country
You wire the yellow wire (yellow backlight) or the brown wire(white backlight) to accessory power on your truck. I used a used a fuse tap on the fusebox under the hood

Yellow to your hot wire on turn signal and brow to the same bulb but the hot wire when parking lights are on… sound like you guy have these both swapped
Anyone having issues with this lights. Mine shorted the bcm circuit on the left side.
After I installed, the turn signals work for about a second, then either hyper flash or just don’t work at all. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem did you find out how to fix?

I would check wiring… make sure tou have a good ground

I have this problem. My BCM goes on to protect mode
At first I thought they were just OK. After you Raptor mode I fell in love. Wiring and soldering I’ve never been my strong point
I opted to use some butt connectors for now. I will solder then up if off-roading pulls those apart :)
hey great video! but im trying to find a video of someone wiring in the drls so the bar lights are drls? any ideas?
That’s cool , is your raptor grill painted gloss black ?
Yes it is!

Glad i could help
So im guessing I cannot put them on my 2012 then?
You bet

Is it even possible to wire the amber to be both your DRL and turn signal?
Its not. But i could think of a few ways to build a custom 12v module to do this. :)
Can you help me build a module for this. amber DRL and turn signals would be awesome
I cannot get my turn signals to work on these new DRLs help please

If you do raptor mode. Do you still get the start up animation?
No, the startup animation is only for the white
Do you have a video on how to wire the raptor look?
In the video i explain just wire the turn sequential yellow turn signal to accessory power. So wen the truck is on the yellow is on.
I just ordered these, would like to know long term use how they hold up. Is there any condensation in them?
No issues yet. But it has only been 1 month.
How are the headlights holding up as of now
No issues so far…
@Beyond The Raptor I saw a couple of reviews with water going into the headlights seems to be one of the main problems. Have you had that issue?
