It’s been five , with three head coaches , garbage olines, and complete nobodies at reciever. Do you realize we went to the playoffs with the 28th ranked oline , and our top three receivers were Slayton , Hodgins , and James . have all hit FA and now make 6m a year , 900k a year , and currently not on a roster .😂😂😂 while Darnell Mooney and Gabe Davis , mid recievers, make 13m a year a piece . AJ brown and Smith make 58m a year between them . That’s what the league thinks of Slayton , Hodgins , and James . Give this kid a mid oline , and a year with healthy , Nabers , Robinson , and Hyatt , and see what we got . If he sucks this year I’ll be right with you . But he won’t

The line was bad for everybody not just for Jones. Hell, we ended up with DeVito after Taylor got injured (due to poor o line play. The fact is that Jones played worse than the two backups under similar conditions. He’s not and never was a franchise quarterback.
The biggest problem I’ve seen with Jones is for some reason he still doesn’t trust himself fully. He’s had countless times where the play is the there and he hesitates to throw the ball. I do think he is way more talented than people think tho and if he can just trust his decisions, he could be very effective.
It can't be said enough that the Giants O line last season was historically bad. Probably the worst we've ever seen in the nfl. Any qb behind that line was getting pressured every play and it got our qbs injured multiple times. DJ probably isn't the guy but let's not pretend any qb would've played well with that line
How bad we'll let me tell you they gave up 85 sacks which is the 2nd most sacks given up ever in a season. Like you literally have 1 offensive line in the history of the NFL that played worse.
Guys, yes the line was horrible, but fact is DJ and Tommy were taking 8-10 a game, Tyrod more like 3-5. Tommy was a 3rd string guy never meant to take the field, him getting sacked 10 times a game can be understood, but Jones? If Tyrod started every game and stayed healthy, perhaps it would be closer to 60-65 sacks. Still disturbingly bad, but maybe not historically bad.
@@ericbutler739context matters here. It was a different lineup by the time Tommy cutlets took the field. Additionally- by that point, there was a seemingly different play calling attitude. Numerous reports showed that BD took over play calling a couple times. The entire season was a complete and utter shit show.
@8:16 That’s an interception throw. The safety is literally jogging. If you wound up to throw it, you’d be getting picked unless the placement was absolutely perfect.
Additionally, where he went with the ball, if you see… in typical DJ fashion… He gets the ball there, but the receiver drops it, while being absolutely wide open. It was at the very least… a decent 6-7 yards, maybe a first down. At best, also a touchdown. Nothing wrong with where he went with it at all.
The line was bad, the coaching was bad, his only real weapon took the train to Philly and if he leaves the dysfunctional Giants he will be a decent NFL QB. The Giants are just that bad of an organization.
The problem this year is there were so many QB needy teams with the top 3 picks being teams that desperately needed a QB. So there were 3 options. Spend way too much to go up, reach for a QB just for the sake of getting a QB, stay put and build for the next QB you will get later. Just like after 2022, NY Giants were kind of just stuck with Jones. Next year, who will need a QB? None of the teams that took one in the first round this year. That's 6 teams that won't be in the running that NY had to compete with this year. Next year, so far, LV, NY and possibly TN will be the only teams looking for a QB. That's 1 possibly 2 teams, as opposed to 6 to compete with. Much cheaper to trade up, more likely a QB will fall, more likely we see a new vet starter and rookie QB on the Giants roster. The only question is who that QB will be after the 2024 season plays out.
DJ truthers are going to piss and moan in the comment section and try to blame everyone else but there is no way to excuse these numbers -> 5:16 5:50 BTW DJ ranked 117th in average depth of target while at Duke. This has been a problem for him his entire career. He does not throw deep or outside the numbers consistently. He does not throw with anticipation. He doesn't get the ball out quickly or manipulate the pocket well. He has thrown for more than 20 TD's once in his 5 year career. He has been hurt in 4 of 5 years with 2 season ending injuries. Now he's coming off an ACL which will impact his running ability. Has been called out by multiple opposing defenders (49ers & Seahawks) as a 1 read QB. In 2022 he ran every time his 1st option was not open. By the beginning of the 2023 season opposing DC's had this figured out and filled the B gap taking away his running option. This lead to bad performances and a torn ACL. It's hard to see him turning things around now that he has been exposed. I can't say I'm confident he's gonna turn it around. But crazier things have happened. I think...
He does not throw with anticipation is the major problem. He throws at the receiver and not to a vacant spot that he should anticipate the receiver will converge to and catch the ball. That is what all superior NFL QBs do .... anticipate where the catch point is going to be.
How many chances does a qb get ? One good season out of six. It is great that he has cured his fumbling problems. But , he is a starting NFL qb. Dave Gettleman needs to be forgotten, along with his draft picks. If the Giants put Daniel Jones on the open market, what do they get for him ? I bet the answer rhymes with " othing " ?
It wasn't really a good season for a starting QB, it was the only season that he was just above average, he was not worthy of the contract he was gifted by the co-owner.
@@AlterMann57 160 million. Jones has some talent but, they over paid to make sure he stays. its only 81 m , guaranteed. So if they can figure out how to work the deal. the Giants may come out smiling on DJ.
@@maskedman5657 they aren’t dumb because none of the Qbs that were available when they were picking were really any better than Dj. They obviously tried to trade up and it didn’t work. People that are saying it’s a bad move is probably because next year Qb class might rival the 2022 class in terms of there not being any guys who truly show any starting potential besides maybe sanders and ewerys
I don't think he was the problem last year either but i think its a blessing in disguise for the giants finally getting a kick in the ass to realize he's not the answer for the long term success of the team
It’s amazing to me how Daniel Jones suffered in his play because supposedly the office of line sucked yet Devito Who is a back up quarterback that doesn’t have any experience played so much better than him with the same line! Made Daniel look terrible
@@TheSteveKinney you can’t tell these knuckleheads that , it was not the same line , saquan was back , wandale got healthy , Hyatt played more as the season went on , and the competition wasn’t the same , not to mention , the defense created 2 turnovers in first 6 games and 29 in the following 11 . But yeah , the media say I should say Devito is better than Jones
Daniel Son has to have his best season of his career. End of story. Will he? If you're a fan of the film Rocky and like a Cinderella story, then you will believe that Daniel Son can do it and become the Comeback Kid. We got to believe, like Mr. Miyagi.
It would be a great story if he did. He needs to reset his mindset to when he was a rookie but use all his experience and knowledge he’s gained as well.
The Giants are playing thr long game and i think you are right. It's not like they are going to the Superbowl anytime soon, why even bother digging a bigger hole when you can just wait a year and then get everything you want. Especially since this year so many QBs went next year to so many teams they won't have to look hard for one.
QBs can be really hard to grade on the stat-sheet alone too. You can't get overly carried away, but sometimes there are 'good sacks' and 'good INTs' lol. Like nuking an arm punt on 3rd and a mile is whatever. Getting picked off on a screen on your own 20, possibly for a pick-6 is, a disaster. Eating a sack on 1st or 2nd down is better than forcing a throw that wasn't there and possibly getting a BAD interception. You can always try again next down 😅 BAD sacks are ones that knock you out of reasonable FG range and take points off the board. I can't knock a QB for trying to keep the drive alive if you're outside FG range already tho, or like on the 5 yard line and just trying to get the TD in.
I mean, idk if this is really conspiracy. They would've taken Maye if possible, and DJ is getting cut after this season. I don't really understand why you think this is like, earth shattering theory.
Can anyone name a qb who has been good with such a bad supporting cast without being a pure running qb (has anyone in recent memory even had as bad of a supporting cast)? I’m no DJ truther but I think he deserves to play with a avg pff o line and adequate weapons. Honestly I don’t know if I can say he’ll have either this year again.
The issue with the plan you laid out is if DJ does what he has always done. Be mediocre at best. Mediocre QB play with a healthy defense with an easy schedule might get you a seven seed. That gets you a lower pick and thus harder to trade up. Remember they could not get up from six to three this year to take Maye.
Why are you ppl obsessed with DJ?. Tired of being wrong about him? How about letting the season play out. I year removed from leading Giants to playoffs and a Wildcard win. Last year was last year. Healthy and the team around him is better. Finally has a #1 WR prospect and very good complementary WRs that will open things up if the additions to the OLine work out. He'll be ready for training camp and Lock isn't good enough to beat him for QB1. Lock was drafted same year as DJ and is on his third team. Please kill that noise. Lock is just a cheaper Backup than Tyrod. Hopefully a healthier one too. Tyrod missed multiple games to injury in both his seasons with Giants. DJ will be the QB despite all outside opinions. Plus the fact Giants tried to trade up without a sufficient trade offer says NOTHING! Pats said you would have move heaven and earth for them to trade down. Giants were never going to give up that kind of draft capital. So this narrative of they wa t move on because they tried to trade up is nonsense. Accept that you were wrong about the draft even though JS was hinting at WR all off season. Every time when asked about DJ future he responds DJ is our starter unless he experiences a setback in recovery. He hasn't. Move on. Try to predict how all these pieces are going to come together this season for the better. 🤔🤔🤔✌🏾🤦🏾♂️
The end was last year the end was after year three his pocket awareness/precense is atroshies scaaaaary faaaace got out played by devito and tyrod if it wasn't for saquon we never would of saw the playoffs and that schedule was so weak
Forget last year as the starting qb of the NY Giants. This will be his last year as the acknowledged qb1 starter on any nfl team. He might get a "chance to compete" for the job, but I think that will go about as well as it did for Sam Darnold in Carolina, Desmond Ritter in Altanta, etc., wherever Oh Danny Boy (the sacks the sacks are calling) ends up. That said, back-up qb has become a pretty important position these days, and Jones seems like he could be a very good back-up for many years to come, with this high completion/low risk/on time style of play. And he already got the big contract, so who knows? Maybe he spends another decade in the league going to wherever suits him because he can afford to "only" get paid a couple million per year, collects a ring or two with a team or two, and retires with a shit ton of money and most of his brain cells. I'd rate that as a very successful nfl career. Of course, I'm not a Giants fan.
Giants have to address 10 other positions before Daniel jones. Yeah no shit he won’t throw a ball down field because that requires you to actually have time in the pocket. Something that has gotten worse every year he’s been in the league. If he tries to throw a ball to a below mediocre receiver while getting no separation and pass rushed, everyone would be complaining that he takes too many chances. I’m not saying Daniel Jones is a great qb, but to say he’s the problem is just flat out stupid.
His salary for next season becomes completely guaranteed if he gets injured this season. (He gets injured a lot.) Why would the Giants throw him out there as a sacrificial lamb if they plan to move on from him next season? Sounds to me like he gets the quick hook and clipboard duty in favor of Lock if the season starts off as bad as it did this year.
He was drafted entirely too high, had one season where he was simply *OK* and the team beat a team in the playoffs that *EVERY SINGLE PERSON WATCHING THE NFL KNEW WAS FRAUDULENT,* and then the Giants made the extremely stupid decision of not tagging him. Daniel Jones is not a starting caliber NFL QB and the Giants have wasted 6 years trying to make this work when anyone with eyes knew it wasn't going to.
He's had no offensive line and no receivers that can gain separation. Of course he gets sacks and is a conservative passer. Dak Prescott? Seriously? If the Cowboys don't want to keep him, why would the Giants want him?
Danny Dimes SUCKS. The Giants suck more for signing him. There’s a reason few people have sucked as bad and played as much as he has. It speaks to how terrible the Giants are as an organization.
just wanna say - and I haven’t heard anyone else saying it. Daniel jones would have had a career year last year, (not that it would be comparable to the greats) but Dallas really aimed for his head all game in Week 1 last year. It really messed him up.
Then youre not made to be a QB in this league.. look at some of the BEAT DOWNS Eli took, when you were actually allowed to hit the QB. He not only took it but thrived under it and rose above. Daniel cries in the corner, and shrivles.
He probably won’t play this season. There’s an injury clause in his contract that makes him not be able to get released without paying him a bunch of money and they tried to replace him by trading up in the draft so my guess is they sit him this year and play Drew lock who is a comparable player who is way cheaper and keeps Daniel jones nice and safe to get cut after the season so they can draft their own guy
I'm glad the Steelers didn't stick it out with Kenny, we would've ended up in a Giants situation, and it would've kept us in purgatory like they are rn.
If the guy somehow pulls a Phil Simms and wins a SB MVP for the Giants, enabling him to stay with the team as the starter for the rest of the decade, that's where other certain conspiracy theory becomes believable. Wishful thinking on my part though. Only consolation being had is that Haskins turns out to be worse.
lol the other 2 QBs played better matchups with Barkley and Thomas. No Barkley and we have a new QB. Big L for fans that wanted to replace DJ. We should have traded Barkley. For all the talk about how much better the other 2 Qbs looked, the giants were 31st in passing. THis with the TT taking more shoots down field.
7:55 Hang on how can you fault DJ for passing to the wide open, I mean wiiiide open RB to make a move in space? The endzone pass would've been nice, but as you said, "It's not a risk free pass by any means". The RB was easy money and the right play (especially on 1st down I believe)
I think they are going with Drew Lock. Lock is going to get all the Pre Season reps. And the injury clause in DJ's contract could potentially guarantee his money for 2025. DJ might not play this year at all. But, we'll see.
I gotta be the only non Giants fan to actually think Daniel jones is a viable guy as a starting QB I wholeheartedly believe if he’s on any other team besides maybe the panthers he’s be a lot better
A bit more context you left out... Jones has had 3 Head coaches , 3 different offensive systems in 4 years & 4 play callers. Not to mention his best WR has been a 5th round pick that was a healthy scratch in week 1 of 2022. A completed inept & oft injured. And you cant push the ball downfield when youre running for your life. And the average depth of target in the NFL is 7.7 So can we stop acting like DJ is 6.8 while everyone else Average depth of target is 15 Because its not even 1 yard more
You should do a video on Malik Willis, titans fans are split hard on Willis, and im one that doesnt like him, he’s not good, but i want to hear your opinion
Are we forgetting the worst Oline performance I’ve ever seen week 1, and Saquan getting injured for the rest of the weeks Daniel played? Not even a mention of Saquan being there for the other two QBs?
Not for nothing , but I can’t stand when random people breakdown film and say qbs missed throws . Do you know the play call ? Do you know the progressions ? Do you know the design of the play and why they called it? That play you said he missed Hyatt was a first down play and Hyatt was obviously used to clear out the safety and line backer to give space for the rb to make a play in space, and as usual a giants player drops the ball. . If you take any qb , including Mahomes you will see open recievers that he didn’t throw to , not because he missed them , but it wasn’t the design of the play . I’m not trying to pic on you but it’s ridiculous for people to breakdown a play not knowing the intent of the play

Daniel Jones came in with slow eyes and mental processing, both can be masked but only so much. He needs a top 5 OLine and WRs that can separate because he doesn't throw the 50/50 ball no gunslinger mentality for all his physical tools he can't carry a team like Eli Manning could. The Giants wanted to prove to the world that they made the right choice by signing Jones to a big deal. If that worked in the NFL, then all the bottom feeders would be winners and anybody could succeed as a GM
The Giants have had a bottom of the NFL roster since 2019 and that includes Jones and by not drafting a QB in a QB rich draft the Giants will continue to be awful

Go look it up, even the top QBs suck under pressure. Giants gotta give him or whoever else they decide to put at QB a real chance to succeed.
Giants are building a team for the next QB. You cannot Jones this season. 7 year to draft Wr. 10 of consistently worse Offensive line. Also we're in committee for RB.
He’s about to outshine Aaron Rodgers for that Comeback Player of the Year award. Whether or not they screw him over for the flashy name and better story will be the question.
Why commit to Daniel Jones? He won a road playoff game. The last time the Giants won a road playoff game was 2012... Eli won a road playoff game with significantly more weapons than Daniel Jones had. Road playoff wins with no offensive line and one difference maker on offense in which the defense is going to take away is no big deal😂😂😂 It wasn't even 2 years ago also... bro im sorry but ive counted only 2 things right that youve said all video, 1. dj is a check down merchant true. 2. he is i would say injury prone. however there are plenty of facts you left out during this video... when showing his stats you shouldve also added his rushing stats, you should also allude to the fact that when you have a top 3 running back in the league your going to be a run heavy team like cleveland, like the titans, like the niners (niners have good passing yards too, but also have top of the line wrs, te, rb which makes offense a lot easier) you did point out the oline was garbage however when your explaining him not making the right read why dont you add in the fact that he knows he is injury prone and has evan neal blocking his blindside, if im in the pocket behind that line with my back turned to neal im getting rid of the ball quickly not hoping one of my below average receivers can finally create separation on the deep ball.
This guy came out and he watched Eli. Manning in his last couple of years dinkin, dunk, and if he doesn't get the Dink and dunked the ball down the field. He's not gonna do anything, hopefully this year, he can actually be a quarterback
Danggg son. Josh Allen has like a 1.86 "career" sacks per game rate. Seeing those Giants QB sack rates is disturbing. And Josh had a weak O-line the first few years. Poor Giants fans, you guys need some O-line beef bad. I've been saying for some time now that Danny Dimes could maybe vie for elite status if he just had some better protection and maybe one very reliable wideout... Not a NYG fan, but I do love watching Jones play, although I can never really put my finger on exactly why. He's just very, ...fluidly proficient at throwing the ball. Guy can scoot, too. I will be surprised if DJ makes it through the season as a starter. If he starts to falter, in will come Lock. I don't view lock as a better QB, just someone not named DJ. Our oline is better, how much remains to be seen. We definitely have a better wr group. The running back might be a step down, but SB always seemed to have a big run or two to make his yards per carry look better than they really were. One thing SB never seemed to do was get that yard or two when we really needed it. For a back that big he seemed to go down pretty easily.
I’d be happy with Lock. Daboll can work with him. DJ always made me nervous and now he is injury prone..his legs were his asset and I don’t think he’ll get them back after a torn ACL.
THE GIANTS ARE BLIND & STUPID!! 4TH STING QB NATHAN ROURKE IS CHAMPIONSHIPS CALIBER Through 39 career games with the Bobcats, Nathan compiled 7,475 passing yards, 70 passing touchdowns, 2,639 rushing yards and 49 rushing touchdowns. Daniel Jones has less TD passes than games played. even delusional giants fans that think that ridiculous deal they gave him was justified have to admit that he'd below average and will never at any point be top 10
So the conspiracy theory is that jones may not be good and the Giants, who intentionally signed a deal that was an easy cut after 2 years, might know it?????
The NY Giants’ offensive line ranks 28th in the NFL by PFF In Pro Football Focus’ latest ranking of offensive lines! MISTAKE! The annual Band-Aid approach to upgrade the Offensive Line has, once again, proven to be a complete failure. Clearly, drastic action must be taken if we are going to improve. To begin with, tell Evan Neal the truth, he's not an Offensive Tackle & frankly/honestly, he doesn't have the necessary talent nor necessary skills to be the starting Right Tackle for the NY Giants. Sorry... but that's the truth. So, if Neal wants to remain with the NY Giants organization, then it will be as an Offensive Guard. Period! Neal should consider this a second chance, be grateful & don’t blow it. So, work hard, focus & refine your God given skills to be the best Offensive Guard in the entire NFL. If Evan Neal can't accept the reality/truth, then it's time to move on & chalk up drafting him as a mistake, a waste & another missed opportunity to upgrade the Offensive Line.
DJ is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. I get his o-line isn’t good, but good quarterbacks can almost negate that. His apparent best season was 15 touchdowns to 6 interceptions. The team was being ran by Barkley that year and it’s not like the Giants were even that good with a 9-7-1 record. DJ is funny to watch though so I am excited to see him fail this year again

@8:16
That’s an interception throw.
The safety is literally jogging.
If you wound up to throw it, you’d be getting picked unless the placement was absolutely perfect.
Additionally, where he went with the ball, if you see… in typical DJ fashion…
He gets the ball there, but the receiver drops it, while being absolutely wide open.
None of the QBs in next years draft show starting potential besides Sanders and maybe Ewerys
@@Mokuteke
This comment aged poorly
@@LarryJ602 how so. There still no clear qb one in next years draft. Besides ewerys and Sanders who both have their own issues themselves
I may be biased as an Eagles fan but I just don’t see Daniels getting you all to a Super Bowl.
DJ truthers are going to piss and moan in the comment section and try to blame everyone else but there is no way to excuse these numbers -> 5:16
5:50 BTW DJ ranked 117th in average depth of target while at Duke.
I think...
DJ is a hall of fame High School quarterback
😂😂😂 nothing.
It might rhyme with "eventh ound ick" if we were lucky 😂
Including Dexter Lawrence and Thomas ?
It wasn't really a good season for a starting QB, it was the only season that he was just above average, he was not worthy of the contract he was gifted by the co-owner.
@@AlterMann57 160 million. Jones has some talent but, they over paid to make sure he stays. its only 81 m , guaranteed. So if they can figure out how to work the deal. the Giants may come out smiling on DJ.
Even if you look at your cutups, everytime he had decent protection he made a play, some of them were even off script.
Believe it or not. DJ wasn't the problem last year
Not
How could a guy who was injured for 70% of the season be the problem thank for stating the obvious
@@Mokuteke It's obvious to you. Most channels are saying the Giants are dumb for not picking up a QB in the draft
Stick to the jets cause you don’t know what the hell you are talking bout . This is the dumbest take I ever hear people say . Such a joke
😂 bro. It was almost a completely different unit…
Daniel Jones has been and always will be a complete waste of time for the New York Giants.
DIFFERENT O-LINE HOMIE! DO YOU EVEN WATCH NYG GAMES WITH THAT COMMENT??????
Daniel Son has to have his best season of his career. End of story. Will he? If you're a fan of the film Rocky and like a Cinderella story, then you will believe that Daniel Son can do it and become the Comeback Kid. We got to believe, like Mr. Miyagi.
It would be a great story if he did. He needs to reset his mindset to when he was a rookie but use all his experience and knowledge he’s gained as well.
Even if he did let him walk.
This is real life...
The Giants are playing thr long game and i think you are right. It's not like they are going to the Superbowl anytime soon, why even bother digging a bigger hole when you can just wait a year and then get everything you want. Especially since this year so many QBs went next year to so many teams they won't have to look hard for one.
How does this channel only have a few thousand subscribers? I'm hopping the elevator up!
You can always try again next down
😅
BAD sacks are ones that knock you out of reasonable FG range and take points off the board. I can't knock a QB for trying to keep the drive alive if you're outside FG range already tho, or like on the 5 yard line and just trying to get the TD in.
Daniel Jones looks like Human Shrek from Shrek 2 😂
Can you share the video link on that “Hero” you referred too? Would like to see that video as well. Awesome content my friend 🔥🔥🔥
Great video bro 🫡🫡🫡😭
I mean, idk if this is really conspiracy. They would've taken Maye if possible, and DJ is getting cut after this season. I don't really understand why you think this is like, earth shattering theory.
Can anyone name a qb who has been good with such a bad supporting cast without being a pure running qb (has anyone in recent memory even had as bad of a supporting cast)? I’m no DJ truther but I think he deserves to play with a avg pff o line and adequate weapons. Honestly I don’t know if I can say he’ll have either this year again.
On passing plays, Jones has no time to throw. He usually drops back, then starts to run for his life!
other teams move on before their lackluster qb's rookie contracts end... the giants give 6 years and a huge extension
Daniel Jones has a passer rating of 87.8 with 436 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in 2 games in the playoffs in his career.
He had a 12.4 qbr and sucked badly when it really mattered.
You mean he was just average when a qb needs to be great.
we need to see him produce this year with no injuries. If he shows any form of slight injury he will be benched and released at the end of the year.
If this bust throws for 3,600 and 26-19, then get ready for DJ to play out the rest of his contract.
This might be the coldest take I’ve ever ever heard to call it A conspiracy theory is lunacy
Danny will be just fine with the proper supporting cast!
No He won't
He played like 2 games with saquon and Andrew Thomas and has a top 3 worst schedule and had the worst o line of all time
The end was last year the end was after year three his pocket awareness/precense is atroshies scaaaaary faaaace got out played by devito and tyrod if it wasn't for saquon we never would of saw the playoffs and that schedule was so weak
*atrocious not atroshies
@Maddenlegend4ever he's not the qb of the franchise nabers will not improve him at all
They are waiting for Arch Manning.
If he gets moved to another team next season, it’ll be incredibly interesting to see how he does for all those points you laid out
@@footballdoesntmatter if he goes to another team will he become an MVP highly doubt it. Will he become a lot better, in my opinion without a doubt
Jones needs to be confident.
The end of 22 season fans chanting MVP
New weapons new line
Bro is gonna get us the number one pick next year 😆
Also feel like ownership stepped in and gave him that contract. I don’t think Shoen is that silly
just wanna say - and I haven’t heard anyone else saying it.
You also have to keep on kind last season he was without andew Thomas or Barkley and he didn't have wandale Robinson
And the average depth of target in the NFL is 7.7
So can we stop acting like DJ is 6.8 while everyone else Average depth of target is 15
Because its not even 1 yard more
You should do a video on Malik Willis, titans fans are split hard on Willis, and im one that doesnt like him, he’s not good, but i want to hear your opinion
As a vikings fan, that playoff win has a little meh to it cuz the vikes were the worst 13-4 team in nfl history
Are we forgetting the worst Oline performance I’ve ever seen week 1, and Saquan getting injured for the rest of the weeks Daniel played? Not even a mention of Saquan being there for the other two QBs?
Danny gonna have a great season this year! Bunch of virgins don't know football

That's a lie.

9:30 a tripple negitive lol.hard to know what that sentence actually means
Daniel Jones came in with slow eyes and mental processing, both can be masked but only so much. He needs a top 5 OLine and WRs that can separate because he doesn't throw the 50/50 ball no gunslinger mentality for all his physical tools he can't carry a team like Eli Manning could. And while that may not be fair but Eli was a gunslinger and trusted his receivers to be open where they're supposed to be Jones doesn't trust his arm or receivers no pocket presence as well... The man is broken like David Carr broken
I think Jones could be a pro bowler with good coaching, a decent line, and someone to throw the ball to
No. Because good quarterbacks are still good without all of that.
@@DevinSeverincome on man be realistic. Every QB needs someone to throw to. You can’t name me a QB that’s been successful without some kind of #1 WR or TE

They did DeVito dirty. He was so popular
Daboll's freedom begins and ends if the Hoodie wants the NYG job.
The Giants wanted to prove to the world that they made the right choice by signing Jones to a big deal.
If that worked in the NFL, then all the bottom feeders would be winners and anybody could succeed as a GM
Daniel Jones look like Fix it Felix and Pinocchio had a baby
The Giants have had a bottom of the NFL roster since 2019 and that includes Jones and by not drafting a QB in a QB rich draft the Giants will continue to be awful
Get em Barb. Too bad we won't see Penix this year unless Cousins gets hurt, but I wanted to get him or even McCarthy. Both winners from big time programs.
it all started when Judge got hired as HC, and Gettlemen broke the bank handing out big contracts to everybody, wanting to 'win now'
Daboll isn't worried about getting fired. Jones is a Mara guy. And that's all that matters in Giants Blue Hell. That idiot Mara got one of his "good guys"🙄
Daboll will get his qb next draft. These dudes are hoping DJ gets pounded into the ground just to get their OL straightened out for their 2025 qb pick.😂
A conspiracy would have been the giants are making Daniel Jones look terrible on purpose so they can win the super bow with the guy and make him look great like Eli

Why commit to Daniel Jones?
He won a road playoff game.
The last time the Giants won a road playoff game was 2012...
Eli won a road playoff game with significantly more weapons than Daniel Jones had.
Road playoff wins with no offensive line and one difference maker on offense in which the defense is going to take away is no big deal😂😂😂
It wasn't even 2 years ago also...
Please try harder to sell me Daniel Jones sucks
He also was the only quarterback in history of the NFL to pass for 300 yards throw 2 TD passes and rush for 70 yards on the road in his debut playoff game...

Just over a year ago...
Daniel Jones critics are stupid
Do you see what he lacks
What did he do against the eagles a week later?
I’m on the Drew Lock train. I wanna see Lock win the starting job.
We need to get out from having Jones as our QB. He is who he has shown he is. Not very good.
Both Tyrod and DeVito had better # than Daniel Jones with the same weapons! DJ is a running back that can throw, he’s not a pocket QB.
I knew he was going to be a bust before he got drafted. How it took the giants 6 years to figure it out I have no idea
bro im sorry but ive counted only 2 things right that youve said all video, 1. dj is a check down merchant true. 2. he is i would say injury prone. however there are plenty of facts you left out during this video... when showing his stats you shouldve also added his rushing stats, you should also allude to the fact that when you have a top 3 running back in the league your going to be a run heavy team like cleveland, like the titans, like the niners (niners have good passing yards too, but also have top of the line wrs, te, rb which makes offense a lot easier) you did point out the oline was garbage however when your explaining him not making the right read why dont you add in the fact that he knows he is injury prone and has evan neal blocking his blindside, if im in the pocket behind that line with my back turned to neal im getting rid of the ball quickly not hoping one of my below average receivers can finally create separation on the deep ball.
This guy came out and he watched Eli. Manning in his last couple of years dinkin, dunk, and if he doesn't get the Dink and dunked the ball down the field. He's not gonna do anything, hopefully this year, he can actually be a quarterback
Watching the second and third string QB come in and sling the ball down field, when Jones wouldn't, is all you need to know
Shoulda been “the end” 3 years ago
Clocked 22 MPH during his 80 yard sprint, lol. Impressive stuff. I dunno, solid QB imho. Good luck Giants fans, wish you the best (well, just short of the best, anyway)! 😁🦬🦬
Actually, come to think of it, ...I get "light" Josh Allen vibes watching Jones' highlights. That's it. He's got a touch of Josh in him. I knew it!!! 😄
my counter point is the giants have been ass oline trash WRs what WRs he has had no help hos whole career this is his prove it or lose it year
bad o line?...does not begin to describe it...the Giants ownership is sometimes too loyal to its players..this comes from the time they had to cut Phil Simms...you can always draft a QB in 2025
Just watched your Trevor Lawrence video .dont make sense Dj has never had a line a good as trevor coreect me if im wrong ...im asking because your trevor video
Coming from a Seahawks fan, Lock is absolutely better than Daniel Jones. I could see him outplaying Jones this season
I’d be happy with Lock. Daboll can work with him. DJ always made me nervous and now he is injury prone..his legs were his asset and I don’t think he’ll get them back after a torn ACL.
The team is going to be bad this year. He can put up a career year, if they have a top pick, they’ll replace him next year.
THE GIANTS ARE BLIND & STUPID!!
4TH STING QB NATHAN ROURKE IS CHAMPIONSHIPS CALIBER
Through 39 career games with the Bobcats, Nathan compiled 7,475 passing yards, 70 passing touchdowns, 2,639 rushing yards and 49 rushing touchdowns. Rourke led Ohio to three consecutive bowl wins and exited as the MVP of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in 2020. 🤯 More Bowl wins than all other 3 giants QB's combined!
Unless the NY Giants prioritize upgrading the Offensive Line they will never EVER climb out of the cellar in the NFC East, never again compete nor win the NFC East, never again win the NFC Championship & NEVER EVER win another Superbowl unless they finally commit (priority #1) to building a premier OFFENSIVE LINE! Tom Brady in his prime would have had a difficult time playing behind our miserable OL! Don't believe me? Ask Jerry Reese or better yet ask Dave Gettleman... Quarterbacks can't throw when they're knocked flat on their asses... Running Backs can't run through the Offensive Line if there are NO holes! Hello? The bottom line is that the NY Giants’ Offensive Line is the weakest link in the chain (AGAIN)! Looks like 2024 is going to be another wasted year… Ownership/Management should be ashamed of themselves. Why? Because not one, ONE, top Offensive Lineman prospect was chosen in the 2024 draft….
Daniel Jones is another Dave Brown for the Giants
If he gets injured again all that money left on the contract will be guaranteed, giants are gonna do their best to make DJ not play
No,in fact this is just the beginning
I hate to make excuses, but he’s had zero help at wide receiver and the worst oline I’ve EVER seen- by far. I’m sure he’s ruined at this point.
This guy Jones has regressed as a quarterback
Giants are going nowhere with him under center
Time to move on from Jones
Tua or dak in NY??😒😒😒
