Emma is still Emma, even though she has changed for the better and learned from her mistakes (just like the book). I love that the series ends with her wink! ;)
I want them to make Sense and Sensibility next, with Elinor and Marianne vlogging together, and then whenever they're apart it can be like a John and Hank Green where they vlog to each other.
While Harriet was freaking out, I kept thinking of Gigi in the LBD when she was trying to keep Lizzie in the office for Darcy. It made me smile. What a cute way to end the series.
The shirt with the birds, Emma helping Harriet set up, Martin kissing the paper cuts, THE MENTION OF MR. WOODHOUSE FINALLY, and the wink at the end: everything about this was fantastic. Well done, Pemberley Digital. Well done.
Throughout this ep I kept thinking that Emma is going to be one of the greatest most annoying mothers, I can just see her snapping all these pictures and documenting her child's excellence while the kid and Alex just roll their eyes-- it would be hilarious! Anyways, I'm sad it's over but that was an excellent series! Thank you to the writers and cast and everyone else involved for giving us this wonderful show!
AHHHH THE WINK AT THE END. It was nice to see a little bit of the "old" Emma in this video, the Emma that gets carried away with things. Also, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT EMMA APPROVED IS OVER. I mean, they left things kind of up in the air, right? With LBD she flat out said "this is my last video", whereas Emma said that she wanted to continue to document. We'll see!
ALSO: 1) I love how Martin is a little more calm than Harriet; they compliment each other in that she fails around excitedly and he thinks it's adorable and reacts to it :) 2) WHEN HE KISSES HER PAPER CUTS!
Is that it??? Is that the end?? *CRIES REAL TEARS* I absolutely adored this series and I'm so so sad to see it come to an end! But on the other hand, it's super exciting to think about what may be coming up next! PLEASE, Pemberley Digital gods, let it be Persuasion. PLEASE!
I did read an interview/FAQ thing with Bernie Su recently though where he said he envisioned Pemberley Digital eventually adapting all six Austen books :D I really want them to adapt Persuasion - I haven't seen the BBC version yet (which is apparently quite good) but the ITV one was awful. I think it would be pretty difficult to adapt though...
Pamela Klinepeter Oh awesome! I think we have it floating around somewhere on DVD so I'll see if I can dig it up... Northanger Abbey is the only one I've read just once, so I think I need to pick it up again. We studied it when I was about twelve in school and I think it totally put me off!
The cranes, Emma sending the videos out, B-Mart and Harriet kiss, more super cute Emma and Alex! I'm going to miss this show so much! But this was an excellent last episode.
Guys, imagine if Pemberley Digital did a series based off L.M.Montgomery's Anne books! Anne of the Island would make a particularly good series...all that Anne/Gilbert tension and character growth. To be honest, I really just want to see Philippa Gordon in all her glory. I feel like her character would lend itself really well to the vlogging format.
Just finished my first rewatch of this whole series since it finished and OH MY GOODNESS. I did not remember it being THIS good. I would love another Austen adaptation, because Pemberley Digital, you are incredible.
Thank you to Bernie Su, Hank Green, Joanna Sontomura, Brent Bailey, Dayeanne Hutton, Tracy Bitterolf, and the rest of the crew & cast, for making MY life better. Thank you so so much guys. This has changed my life, been the highlight of my weeks and put so many smiles on my face and brought so many tears to my eyes. I love this series. I love the characters. And I love you, EA community.
I'M CRYING! The crane thing was so beautiful! Good idea Harriet! Knighthouse cuteness and Marriet! What more could I ask for? WOAH! Pemberley Dig is the "production company"!!! YESSSS!!!! I was wondering if they were going to approach the topic of Mr. Woodhouse! Everything was perfect and thank GOD they didn't jump cut the kiss like in the LBD! *
When Emma took a picture of Harriet and B-Mart, she reminded me of a mother taking a picture of her daughter going off to prom with her date! It was sweet how excited she was for the both of them.
Emma started this series a matchmaker, and finished a mom at prom. That, my friends, is what I call character development. Thank you, Pemberley Digital
Martin's "Would you like me to leave now?" was delivered perfectly! This was such a great last episode! I love the part with Alex & Emma where he admits he almost threw out his back carrying her last time and the whole part with "Wait, people have been watching us!?!?" I will really miss this series!!!
I'd love to see this episode again with little bubles above B-Mart showing what's going in on in his head. I mean, I am not sure I would handle myself with such poise in front of an emotional roller coaster like that. Can you imagine? 1. Ok, going to help the girl I had a crush on, keep cool 2. Ooookkk... You are acting really weird and I am a bit worried, should I leave, call your friend maybe? 3. Oh, maybe it's not about computers, dare I hope? 4. Yes, go for it! 5. Oups, too fast? Did I ruined it? 6. Yes! 7. Wow, she did this for me? Love that the scene was not a "simple declaration" Love how he kissed her hand so naturally. Guess the akward phase is already in the past. Love JBI delivery on this. B-Mart happiness shows so easily, no hidden agenda or guard feelings for him. Love him as a character. Dayeanne was great too! And Knighthouse too, of course. So much to love in this episode.
This was such a great end episode but why does it have to end :( this was literally the only thing on UA-cam I was always excited to see in my sub box! :P loved it... I may have to rewatch it soon :P
For those who can't let this end, watch The Autobiography of Jane Eyre! It's a bit slower to get started, but it's more realistic and I loved it even more.
It was good except for the end the dude who played Rochester ruined it by leaving so close to the end. He couldn't stay for two freakin episodes!?!?!!! Gosh!
Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse! Emma acting like Mrs. Bennet! Alex wardrobe joke! PRODUCTION COMPANY FOR THE DOCUMENTARY!!! Thank you, Pemberley Digital, for this truly wonderful series. It's been a joy to watch and follow on social media. You've done Jane Austen proud.
Awww Emma acting like Harriets mother taking prrom pics of her and Martin, while Alex in the background beside his wifey is like the cool layed back father. 6:57 Such a Mom, Dad, daughter and son in law moment
OOH, his quest! I love the way they did Harriet's and Martin's reunion!!! So beautiful! THE CRANES!!!!!! His smile was so big! And I loved how Alex caught Emma again! It was public after all. I'm astounded! "Is this about your wardrobe?" This episode was so good.
I... Oh man I'm crying. Those kisses were beautiful and the paper cranes were... BMart and Harriet are the cutest and Emma and Alex are just so.... UGH I LOVE ALL OF YOU. Thank you so much for this series.
I was trying to hold it back but I simply couldn't... I can't believe how invested I've been in this fantastic series. I can't believe how much work, effort, and time the entire team has put into bringing this classic story to life, from the big picture to the smallest, minute details and sneaky references and allusions that we all giggle over and love. I can't believe how many wonderful people have been brought together through this interactive world. I can't believe how timeless Jane Austen's works are. I can't believe how this has made my life better. I can't believe its over. I want more!!!! :')
Now I'd have to say my list goes: 1. The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy 2. The Lizzie Bennett Diaries 3. Emma Approved 4. Jules and Monty 5. Nothing Much to Do Though, Frankenstein MD looks promising :)
This was my first time seeing Emma Approved and I stayed up all night to watch it. I don't know what I'm going to do to survive the rest of today but it was worth it. Wonderful production! Joanna was breaking my heart and then making me smile and then breaking my heart again! and Brent was great, and well every body! Totally worth it! Brava!
I'm also glad Alex wore that shirt. That's my favorite outfit of his next to the denim shirt and the dark blue one from episode 70. Oh, and let's not forget the short-sleeved shirt!
IT CAN'T BE OVER NOW I HAVE NOTHING TOO LOOK FORWARD TO NOW. This was amazing, good job and I loved this episode, it was such an amazing ending up an amazing series.
i love how motherly emma is to harriet i mean, "LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU!" plus, that was DEFINITELY the prom pose-ugh i love these so much damn i can't believe i finished this in two days
OH. MY. GOODNESS! How perfectly ADORABLE are Martin and Harriet in this episode!!! I seriously LOVED this episode!! Ahh! Seriously so perfect. Martin's overjoyed look when Harriet asks to go on his quest, the sudden kiss, the falling cranes, Harriet kissing back, that one last blue crane that falls.... Loved it! Well played guys!
BMART KISSING HARRIETS HAND!!! EMMA AND ALEX LOOKING LIKE PROUD PARENTS SENDING THEIR DAUGHTER OFF TO PROM!!! GAHH I refuse to believe that this is the end. I need to know what happened to frank and jane! AND MR.WOODHOUSE
I really like the decision to have them not wearing their heels at the beginning of the episode when they're being vulnerable and emotionally honest. Nice directing.
Classic Alice, Nothing Much To Do, Frankenstein MD, The New Adventure of Peter+Wendy, A TellTale Vlog, AnneWithAnE, Sting Chronicles, Jules and Monty, Lil Women, Blank Verse are some of the many great web series you can now go to for your entertainment needs.
My smile throughout the entire episode could not have been bigger. I was bursting with joy for these characters. This has been one of the best web series's I have watched.
I think I got diabetes from how sweet #Marriet is! Seriously, that was adorable. I loved that Harriet wore a bird shirt and Martin's "Hell No!" Now excuse me as I rewatch this episode like a hundred times.
This webseries was amazing and beautiful. It made me laugh, it made me cry. It all lived up to its name. Emma Approved. *wink* I am so glad I got to watch this darling series with these amazing actors in it and I cant wait till the next series! :)
***SPOILERS!!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I TOTALLY KNEW THEY WERE GONNA RELEASE CRANES!! MARRIET IS ADORABLE AND OH MY GOD THAT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER!!!!!! but also, NOOOO IT'S OVER!!!!!!!! :'(
OMG I AM SO TEARY EYED AND HAPPY RIGHT NOW. What I love about this ep: 1. Emma helping Harriet - their friendship has gone a long long way! 2. Harriet taking the step forward to be with Martin. You go, Harriet Smith! And with cranes, too! 3. All the Knighthouse banter and flirting made me swoon to death!
HARRIET'S SHIRT HAS BIRDS ON THEM. And I KNEW there would be cranes. I KNEW IT! OH MY GOD, I'M SO HAPPY AND SO SAD RIGHT NOW! Marriet FINALLY happened!!!! And they look so adorable together. And Emma and Alex are perfect. And this show is perfect. And now that it's over, I have nothing to look forward to on Monday and Thursday nights. NOOOOOOO. But seriously, though. Amazing show. EA has been one of the highlights of my Mondays and Thursdays. Thank you so much, Pemberley Digital, for making me squeal like a fangirl. I love doing that. Just... thank you. :') :') Oh, and something 'bigger and better'? What could that be??? And please make a 'credits' video, if possible. I love the LBD one - it brings together all the best and funniest moments of the show!!
When Emma's excited When Harriet kisses him back When Martin still isn't sure nothing was wrong with the computer, lol Oh you're good! When Alex almost picks Emma up, also the way he laces his fingers behind her back Knightly's face when he says "Wait, what? People have been watching us...?" The looks of concern when Harriet wants to go home How dorky and excited Marriet both are The grownup, still young contrast between the couples When Emma doesn't freak about a coupon like old Emma would have been Alex being proud of Emma being proud of B-Mart and my favorite? The way Alex doesn't open his eyes for a beat after the kiss ends....
Rewatching it and I love how Harriet declares herself as "her own women" and B-Mart is asking if she would like him to leave, like "WTF have I said something? What did I do wrong this time?"
Generally I am against continuations of classic literature but in this case I would love to see another (ten) series! I thought Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller were my favourite Emma and Knightley but Joanna and Brent have brought something new and exciting and I am completely in love with it and them. Encore!
The episode itself was sweet and adorable. Martin and Harriet make the cutest couple, and Harriet has had the best character development of the whole show. Far more satisfying than in the book, she ends up wiser and in a better place, while keeping her own good qualities. Modest but confident, and I loved, loved, loved how she chose to get Martin back. And Martin! I originally did not like him but, like Emma, I've probably gone on a journey because now I adore him. Emma and Alex are, as usual, smoking hot - also glad you kept the bit about her father, even though you played it down. But let's come to the BAD part. What the fuck? It's over and there's absolutely no closure for Jane and Frank? This part of the book for you it's always been an afterthought, and it shows in the ending as well. I know you played it all 'oh but Frank will try to win her back!' but fact is HE HAS NOT. There's no proof Jane will forgive him. There's no happy ending there. More importantly, in the book Jane has a chance to explain herself, FINALLY speak her mind after months of forced silence, and she finally opens up to Emma. They have a heart to heart, and we get a little glimpse into her side of the story. Nothing here. Jane has been the most misused and mistreated character of the series. And now we only hear OF her from the likes of Frank or Emma. Can we know what's up with her new project? If she plans to forgive Frank? Her reasons for the secrecy, her heartbreak, everything? This series has had its good and bad moments, many to do with writing choices, and I thought it was doing great in this last wave of episodes. After the Christmas break, it was actually finally engaging and I was excited for every new episode. But it ended on a disappointing note. I don't think I'll be back for the new show, not if I'll have to get mad every time there's a discrepancy in the writing.
I agree about Jane and Frank. And especially Jane. I really wanted her to get a chance to talk to Emma beyond a couple tweets. Frankenstein has never been one of my favorite books so I don't really see myself watching that one.
I agree wholeheartedly. I needed more closure, especially with Jane. I know there is a potential plan to make more in future, so I hope that maybe the Jane/Frank thing will be wrapped up in the future!!
I actually like the fact that they kept Jane's fate a little open-ended, though I'm disappointed that Jane and Emma never had a heart to heart (they become genuine friends in the novel, and I was so looking forward to that in this series). But to end the series with Jane and Frank getting back together, after everything he did, would've been even more disappointing for me. I know that Jane forgives him in the book, but it would've been kind of lame for EA's version of Jane (a more independent and modern woman) to take Frank back so soon (maybe after a few weeks, or even months, could I see her forgiving him.) Plus, Jane really hated being filmed. It was Emma who forced her into the videos. Now that Emma has changed, there isn't much reason for the rest of Jane's story to play out on camera. But if a second season of Emma Approved really does happen (not sure if the rumors are true), I would love to see Jane and Frank get some closure. Or maybe they could make another set of videos devoted just to Frank and Jane? Though I don't see how that could happen now that Jane isn't working for Emma Approved.
I am ok with Jane and Frank being open-ended, but I definitely wanted to see Jane and Emma reconcile...I would like to see what happens with Jane/Frank in the future, but I'm cool with not knowing for now...so yeah, I completely agree!
The one bright side to Emma Approved ending: No more waiting for new episodes! Now if you want to re-watch the series, you can just binge watch them all in a day, which I'm definitely doing. This show is freaking amazing and I'm so sad it's over!
HE KISSED HER PAPER CUTS!!!!!!! I REPEAT, HE KISSED HER PAPER CUTS!!!!!!! I CANNOT HANDLE THE CUTENESS!!!!!
+Danielle Rachel i know, wasn't it precious???
That moment gets me EVERY TIME it's so adorable.
I CANT EVEN!!!! ITS TOO CUTE!!!! ASDFGHJHGFDSASDFGHJHGFDS
I DIED RIP ME
I made out with Dayeanne Hutton!!! I made out with Dayanne Hutton!!!
Well executed. The cranes from VidCon were a nice touch.
You were AWESOME in this episode!!!
You appeared to be on excellent form, too.
Wait...what?!?!???
I don't think I have ever squealed so loud with joy after seeing two people kiss :D YAY B-MART AND HARRIET!
Thanks to all the fans that made cranes for us! We wouldn't have had 1000 paper cranes without you! #MakeItCrane
EMMA IS LIKE AN EXCITED MOTHER
I thought exactly the same thing. She and Alex are acting like proud parents.
Emma is still Emma, even though she has changed for the better and learned from her mistakes (just like the book). I love that the series ends with her wink! ;)
actually a prom moment there
Emily Townley I was just thinking the exact same thing and wanted to see if anyone else thought that!
#futuremrsbennet
I half expected harriet to shout out "I need help with math"
hahaha that would've been awesome
Harriet's wearing a shirt with birds on it HARRIET IS WEARING A SHIRT WITH BIRDS ON IT
SO ADORABLE! And it's in the shade of Nacho Cheese! :))
Put a bird on it.
Also a necklace with 2 birds cuddled next to each other on a branch!!
I know!
I loved that
I want them to make Sense and Sensibility next, with Elinor and Marianne vlogging together, and then whenever they're apart it can be like a John and Hank Green where they vlog to each other.
I LOVE that idea!!
OMG, I'm so for that idea!!!
Vlogsisters!
While Harriet was freaking out, I kept thinking of Gigi in the LBD when she was trying to keep Lizzie in the office for Darcy. It made me smile. What a cute way to end the series.
Me too!
When Emma is actually a soccer mom- taking pics of her child and just smiling stupid proud.
"ITS POWERPOINT!"
reminds me of
"I NEED HELP WITH MATH!!!" lol
Hahaha, the look on Lizzie's and B-Mart's face were pretty much the same 😂
Powerpoint! It crashes!
Why? Because I need help with my math!
+Peace, Love, and Lightworker GIGI DARCY
+Peace, Love, and Lightworker YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS
+Peace, Love, and Lightworker Pemberley Digital and his ridiculus excuses for making the cutest couples ever
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I SCREAMED WHEN HE JUST SWOOPED IN LIKE A BEAUTIFUL FALCON AND KISSED HER AND PEOPLE STARED AT ME BUT I AM NOT ASHAMED
Emma and Alex look like they're proud parents at the end...
Also, can we discuss how bmart's "hell no!" is a parallel to harriet's "hell yes!" catch phrase? :D
The shirt with the birds, Emma helping Harriet set up, Martin kissing the paper cuts, THE MENTION OF MR. WOODHOUSE FINALLY, and the wink at the end: everything about this was fantastic. Well done, Pemberley Digital. Well done.
Aaaand B-Mart's "Hell no!" PERFECTION.

Bernie said he has ideas for its continuation but that they are in no hurry :-/
I think there will be more. But I guess with Frankenstein MD on the go, we still have to wait. BUT PLEASE MORE PLEASE MORE DON'T EVER STOP.
Hi, I'm from four years in the future, and boy do I have news for you....
THEY’RE BAAAAAACK.
ALSO:
1) I love how Martin is a little more calm than Harriet; they compliment each other in that she fails around excitedly and he thinks it's adorable and reacts to it :)
2) WHEN HE KISSES HER PAPER CUTS!
Emma's like a mom sending her daughter off to senior prom. It's so cute.
I want a sense and sensibility one of these
Emma went all "embarrassing mom on prom night" I'm cackling
"I'm confused, are we still talking about computers?" Favorite line.
"YOU SNEAKY HARRIET" love that delivery lol
Is that it??? Is that the end?? *CRIES REAL TEARS*
I absolutely adored this series and I'm so so sad to see it come to an end! But on the other hand, it's super exciting to think about what may be coming up next!
PLEASE, Pemberley Digital gods, let it be Persuasion. PLEASE!
Lami Akin it's Frankenstein MD. It's uploading episodes on the PBS Digital Studios channel..

I've seen the BBC Persuasion, it is good. I'd love to see Northanger Abbey done by Pemberly Digital, it's one of my favorites.

The cranes, Emma sending the videos out, B-Mart and Harriet kiss, more super cute Emma and Alex! I'm going to miss this show so much! But this was an excellent last episode.
Yes i agree! No better way to end it. Tho i still don't want it to end

Just finished my first rewatch of this whole series since it finished and OH MY GOODNESS. I did not remember it being THIS good. I would love another Austen adaptation, because Pemberley Digital, you are incredible.

Breaking the fourth wall in style.

When Emma took a picture of Harriet and B-Mart, she reminded me of a mother taking a picture of her daughter going off to prom with her date! It was sweet how excited she was for the both of them.
B-Mart kissing Harriets fingers after she tells him of the papercuts... It's adorable!

Thank you, Pemberley Digital
Knightley is wearing the same shirt he wore in the first episode, and that makes me so happy.
Martin's "Would you like me to leave now?" was delivered perfectly! This was such a great last episode! I love the part with Alex & Emma where he admits he almost threw out his back carrying her last time and the whole part with "Wait, people have been watching us!?!?" I will really miss this series!!!
I can't believe it's over :(

OH MY GOD THE EPISODE ISN'T EVEN OVER AND ALREADY MY HEART IS BLEEDING WITH HAPPY AND SAD FEELS BECAUSE IT'S THE LAST EPISODE
I'd love to see this episode again with little bubles above B-Mart showing what's going in on in his head. I mean, I am not sure I would handle myself with such poise in front of an emotional roller coaster like that. Can you imagine?

For those who can't let this end, watch The Autobiography of Jane Eyre! It's a bit slower to get started, but it's more realistic and I loved it even more.
Definitely watch Autobiography of Jane Eyre!! It's awesome.
There are also a bunch of cute Shakespeare adaptations - Jules and Monty, Nothing Much to Do, and Kate the Cursed are good.
It was good except for the end the dude who played Rochester ruined it by leaving so close to the end. He couldn't stay for two freakin episodes!?!?!!! Gosh!
TheMiddleOfTheOcean I demand, in a very comprehensive way, for links to all of this!
Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse Knighthouse!

Thank you, Pemberley Digital, for this truly wonderful series. It's been a joy to watch and follow on social media. You've done Jane Austen proud.

And I loved how Alex caught Emma again!
It was public after all. I'm astounded!
"Is this about your wardrobe?"
This episode was so good.
EMMA MAKING THEM DO A PROM POSE, THOUGH. I feel like we already know what Emma is going to be like as a mom - and married Knighthouse. ;)
I... Oh man I'm crying. Those kisses were beautiful and the paper cranes were... BMart and Harriet are the cutest and Emma and Alex are just so.... UGH I LOVE ALL OF YOU. Thank you so much for this series.
Emma is exactly like every over-excited mom, and it's adorable.
I was trying to hold it back but I simply couldn't... I can't believe how invested I've been in this fantastic series. Emma is like a mom on prom night and it's precious.
I'd like to give a round of applause to all the people that participated with making this wonderful series.
Now I'd have to say my list goes:
1. The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy
2. The Lizzie Bennett Diaries
3. Emma Approved
4. Jules and Monty
5. Nothing Much to Do
Though, Frankenstein MD looks promising :)
Totally agree with the ranking of 1-3. Gotta get going on 4 & 5!
This was my first time seeing Emma Approved and I stayed up all night to watch it. I don't know what I'm going to do to survive the rest of today but it was worth it. Wonderful production! Ooh did you make some? Are they the ones they used? love it
kirkin17 Bernie confirmed on Twitter that they were. They used every single one of them made at VidCon
Like what they did there with the Mr Woodhouse thing - BLESS them and their cuteness. And the birds. Just ......AWWWWWWWWWW

GAHH
I refuse to believe that this is the end. I need to know what happened to frank and jane! AND MR.WOODHOUSE
I literally screamed when all the cranes falls down, even though I've already foreseen it coming. AHHHHHHHH they're soooooo cute
Scuse me while I go watch every single movie version of Emma ever made
I'M CRYING. I can't believe it's over. Marriet is so cute and Emma's wink at the end omg I can't even ahhhhhh.
I think we need to start an 'Emma Approved Withdrawal' support group. I can't handle these feel on my own. Please please please do another series!!!
"Okay. Would you like me to leave now?" B-Mart is the underrated gem of the series.
I swear this is the 3rd time I've binge watched this serious.... Emma Approved forever!
Emma is all moms right now :3 SO CUTE!
Oh my, I loved the Harriet and Martin moment. They are so cute.
Best episode yet.
A crane stuck in B-Mart's HAIR?!?! Too perfect. I actually cried a little.
3:09 - The moment of truth. It's suspended in time, and yet it has echoes across millenia....
Superb work by both actors.
I think I got diabetes from how sweet #Marriet is! Seriously, that was adorable. I loved that Harriet wore a bird shirt and Martin's "Hell No!" Now excuse me as I rewatch this episode like a hundred times.
Alex's smile at 7:06 onwards gets me every. Damn. Time.
This webseries was amazing and beautiful. It made me laugh, it made me cry. It all lived up to its name. Emma Approved. *wink* I am so glad I got to watch this darling series with these amazing actors in it and I cant wait till the next series! :)
That little hand kiss thing... literally melted into a puddle on the floor...
***SPOILERS!!!!
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I TOTALLY KNEW THEY WERE GONNA RELEASE CRANES!! MARRIET IS ADORABLE AND OH MY GOD THAT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER!!!!!! but also, NOOOO IT'S OVER!!!!!!!! :'(
Omg me too!!!!!and they are totally adorable!!!!! They really need to do some follow up episodes!
Oh my gosh yes! I cant believe it's over but DEAR GOD THAT WAS CUTER THAN KNIGHTHOUSE
I love how Pemberley Digital has a thing for consistency. Flowers for Knighthouse and cranes for Marriet!
thank god for your ***SPOILERS!!!!
saved my life
***** I almost wrote it without that but then I was like "WAIT NO I CAN'T SPOIL IT!" :)
I love the way Emma acts like a mom to Harriet when she's taking the pictures
OMG I AM SO TEARY EYED AND HAPPY RIGHT NOW.
What I love about this ep:
1. Emma helping Harriet - their friendship has gone a long long way!
2. Harriet taking the step forward to be with Martin. You go, Harriet Smith! And with cranes, too!
3. All the Knighthouse banter and flirting made me swoon to death!
Pretty sure I drowned in all the cute in this episode. When Martin kissed her papercut fingers I got all misty and smiley. I love these adaptations.
Just... thank you. :') :')
Oh, and something 'bigger and better'? What could that be???
And please make a 'credits' video, if possible. I love the LBD one - it brings together all the best and funniest moments of the show!!
Dayeanne did such an amazing job in this episode!!! She pulled off all the little emotions that Harriet must have been feeling so perfectly! :)
When Emma's excited
When Harriet kisses him back
When Martin still isn't sure nothing was wrong with the computer, lol Oh you're good!
When Alex almost picks Emma up, also the way he laces his fingers behind her back
Knightly's face when he says "Wait, what? People have been watching us...?"
The looks of concern when Harriet wants to go home
How dorky and excited Marriet both are
The grownup, still young contrast between the couples
When Emma doesn't freak about a coupon like old Emma would have been
Alex being proud of Emma being proud of B-Mart
and my favorite? The way Alex doesn't open his eyes for a beat after the kiss ends....
Rewatching it and I love how Harriet declares herself as "her own women" and B-Mart is asking if she would like him to leave, like "WTF have I said something? What did I do wrong this time?"
So I'm guessing the production company Emma sends the videos to is Pemberley Digital? Very clever!
Emma is like an excited mother on prom night. Loving it.
Generally I am against continuations of classic literature but in this case I would love to see another (ten) series! I thought Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller were my favourite Emma and Knightley but Joanna and Brent have brought something new and exciting and I am completely in love with it and them. Encore!
I LOVED the "I wanna remember this moment" bit, that was so cute. Really enjoyed this series.
Great job, James Brent Isaacs! You were fantastic.
Ok but the moment when b-mart kisses harriet's paper cuts!! so adorable
I know that Jane forgives him in the book, but it would've been kind of lame for EA's version of Jane (a more independent and modern woman) to take Frank back so soon (maybe after a few weeks, or even months, could I see her forgiving him.)
Plus, Jane really hated being filmed.
I like Martin in the books and movies, but I wish she had chosen him at the beginning, or even like this Harriet, who suddenly opened her eyes.
Cutest thing ever. Time to rematch the whole series! Huge thanks to all the cast and crew for an incredible adaptation.
It's....over.....(CRYING ALL THE TEARS) Amazing job everyone.
Really goes to show how well Pemberley Dig adapted this novel!
The one bright side to Emma Approved ending: No more waiting for new episodes! Now if you want to re-watch the series, you can just binge watch them all in a day, which I'm definitely doing. This show is freaking amazing and I'm so sad it's over!
