WOW those look great!! nice job And Lucky is wearing shoes today, no "safety sandals"...LOL What are we to make of this! Keep up your awesomeness Lucky.
Thank you Mr Lucky. Amazing the products out today. When i was working on these cars 30 years ago wish we had 1/4 of what's out there today. Y'all today is the good ol days for hot rods.
I love retrobright lights! I have them on my 67 bug and just ordered one for my road king. It is literally a night and day difference from a sealed beam.
Lucky I had the same truck back in the day and I wish I still had it but the upgrades you did to yours makes it so much more amazing!!! Great job on the lights too!!! See you in the next amazing project you get your hands on!!!
Adjusting the beam height without measuring equipment; by eye, on a wall or garage door, is a bit of a estimating process. Like that your beam focal points, *looks* low. While driving at night becomes the real test.
Quarantine run, another great cruise.. caught video while taking in some In n out. I'll call holley tomorrow.. bet they won't hook me up.. me not so LUCKY 😂😂
They make a 4537 aircraft landing lamp with massive candlepower. They fit right in where original bulbs go, but the draw some current so run them off relay. The are for the 4 lamp round style
These new Holly, LED replacement “sealed” headlight bulbs for old school cars that require them are a total no-brainer. While their initial cost is high, Holly says they last six times longer than incandescent sealed beams. That means you can either buy 1 LED bulb or 6 incandescent bulbs for approximately the same amount of money. The new ones only need to be installed once, and because of their vastly increased light output, you’ll be able to drive at night with the same confidence as those driving modern vehicles. As you’d expect from Holly, they’re SAE, DOT, and California compliant. So as long as they’re properly adjusted, you can be confident you’re not blinding oncoming traffic… as long as you remember to turn off the highbeams. They come with a two-year warranty as well. I don’t work for Holly. I received no compensation for writing this. I don’t even own a pair. Everything came directly off of Holly’s website. If they were made by a company I never heard of or had no history with, I never would’ve bothered to write this. I know how important it is to see at night while driving.
I'm not going to say yikes about the price because bright lights save lives, and that is no joke. The brighter, the better. I have the perfect headlight aiming spot on a building in town. Flat and level with checkerboard trim on the side. Makes it easy to adjust.
Thanks, Lucky. I've been scouting around for the right headlights to use in a project I'm considering. Sometimes old-looking headlights just suit the look, but I grew up with those lights and they were barely adequate back then.
Wish I had my 1970 c10 stepside, 3 on the floor with the small block 400 I rebuilt..That thing flew..Big wide oval tires 6 lug wheels..A Cadillac blue thing was sharp..
I have these in my 66 Charger. They look perfect and provide some great light. The plus side is they are such much lighter and that makes the rotating assembly so much happier
I installed a set (4) on my ‘64 Galaxie . Low beam …. Good , high beams really bright and down the road where I want them . Sometimes you you have to go with the pricey . These properly fit the Ford shells . I had previously purchased a set from another outfit that were supposed to fit , but they lied . Rear finned shell of lamps were too deep .
Usually yes, but what Lucky is working with is called a “Sealed Beam’” headlight, which (correct me if I am wrong) you can not remove the bulbs from, it’s all one unit, hence Lucky calls the module a “bulb” rather than lamp and bulb.. I DO believe Lucky knows the difference. But I may be wrong?
Title confused me for a second because I was thinking of the other Retrobright, the hydrogen peroxide based solution to bleach UV damaged yellowed ABS plastics.
I've got a set of the Hella's in both my 1967 Ford F-100 SWB and my 1967 Ford Mustang. Might be a good time to update both of them. At least these led's look like they belong in a classic car/truck. Some of the other one's that are the projection style look out of place IMO. 6=8.
I'm curious on the light shining pattern at night, how far does it shine. I see it has sweet cut-off line to not blind cars up front, that's actually nice.
Installing mine finally. Do this just sit in the buckets? Meaning are they keyed in anyway? My buckets have 3 not he's but don't line up with the 3 bumps on Holley light.
Hay Lucky did you ever fiqure out what year and make did you get the seats out in your chevelle ??? Dude there is there million of seats to look at to fiqure out what the out of ????? Thanks
It’s the little things in life like being able to see where you’re going at night! Great video.
Yes! Thank you!
Crazy how for this truck has come. I remember you pulling it out of a guy's garage/yard in pieces. My favorite C10 on youtube!
These have been on the short list of MUST HAVE for my 1929 roadster for a while now!!
Very good, I also like the small rear window in the truck, alot of guys change to the large window
I'ma keep my H4's with the incandescent's... old s'cool !
Always great to see you in the feed Lucky 👍

I had to move the wires as per the instructions when I installed the quad 4x6 in my Fairmont...in my mind they're worth every penny.

Very nice! That truck is so sharp.
About to pull the trigger on these for my ‘69 Sweptline Crown Hic project.
Sundays, breakfast tacos, and Lucky's FTW...

Great stuff! I may need these. Just put Dakotia Digital led tail lights in my 66.

Great Lucky, now I have to get a set for my wagon! You're a bad influence!
Thanks, Lucky. I've been scouting around for the right headlights to use in a project I'm considering. Sometimes old-looking headlights just suit the look, but I grew up with those lights and they were barely adequate back then.
Did the same in my 57 Chevy - great safety improvement
Great improvement , now you can ditch those spectacles lol ! Go knight rider go ! Good job Lucky ! Peace and love brother !
I need to upgrade my old stuff as well!

Hey from Missouri Lucky!
I have these in my 66 Charger. They look perfect and provide some great light. The plus side is they are such much lighter and that makes the rotating assembly so much happier
those are really nice and stock looking but they are soooo expensive
I wish you would have showed a comparison when you swapped out the first side to see the difference.
Hey Mr. Lucky. It's the little things. I had a '68 c 10 in the late '80s. Blew it up and it went bye bye

Lucky, the bulb is the thing inside the shell that lights up, the outside shell is called the lamp. The more you know.

They look good Did you need to replace the flasher for the turn signal bulb change?
You go lucky 😂
Would of been nice to get a pic of 1 led and 1 h4 on at same time. camera angle made it hard to see both from outside.
Your ready to tackle, the { 'Holly' 'weird '} hills. Play that Bob Seger tune...
Great improvement, but looks stock, nice 👍. But I think the Mercedes needs the European Spec Headlights 🤔 , just an opinion.

How did you do that without dropping the screws
I'll buy those h4's Rolex boy.
Installing mine finally. Do this just sit in the buckets? Meaning are they keyed in anyway? My buckets have 3 not he's but don't line up with the 3 bumps on Holley light.
I'll have to check if they have 4x6's for a 3000gt, those autozone sylvannias are worthless
Ever heard of T3s?😏
Is it normal for the marker lights to go out when the headlights are on?
On sixties Fords , yes . They’re just parking lamps when sitting somewhere with the headlamps off . Took me a while to figure that out 😎 .
Have you rewired relays to your headlights ? I burned up my dash lights with brighter light bulbs. Lesson learned
$180 a piece. wow
You going to PRI man?
Holley headlights? When can I get Holley air fresheners and bejeweled steering wheel covers?
But that price point ….
If you have 4 lights like I do on the 65 skylark, it’s a big investment.
I guess that's where having a Holley Guy comes in handy......
A bit too pricey for a plastic lens, especially since I would need four.
Hay Lucky did you ever fiqure out what year and make did you get the seats out in your chevelle ??? Dude there is there million of seats to look at to fiqure out what the out of ????? Thanks
Rub tooth paste on it and bring it back
Only $195 each.
