This is perfect for adding texture to my amigurumi! No unnecessary space so my stuffing won't come out easily and the texture is perfect when I need ridges! Thank you!
I've been meaning to make my hubby a hat with linked dc (because he's asked for hats with fewer holes) for a few years now. Seeing this video pop up in my feed might be the kick in the pants I need to actually DO it! LOL
I really appreciate your nice explanation also your voice give me peace and relax I am a bit different then other even when I was student if I don’t like the voice of the teacher I don’t understand what they explain So I enjoy your tutorial very much
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I love double crochet but I have a few grandchildren that do not like holes in their blankets etc so I don't get too use dc much... Until now. This is a game changer for me. It is now my favorite stitch. You rock!
Oh! Sarah, another un-complicated, beautiful and exquisite stitch work. As usual, your explanation is on point and non-intimidating. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a happy thanksgiving, be well and stay safe as I continue to 👀👀👀👀your channel 💕🌹🌹💯
Totally loving your videos... I only came across you a couple of weeks ago and I'm having great fun with my Christmas projects while learning new stitches... Thank you...💗
Such a great Job 👏 I've been looking for a tighter less consuming yarn Stitch.. This Is the one 😍 THANK You 🙏 for this well presented & explained Tutorial 💗
It's a beautiful stitch I like it but it's seems like you will need a lot of yarns to make something big like a blanket thank you for sharing I will try it to make a purse
I thought you mentioned something about ending the row so as to not get an extra stitch but I have watched this three more times now and don't see it. Somehow I keep getting an extra stitch in each row. Help!! :) thanks
This would make a great baby blanket! However, I do have a question. I have a tiny bit of OCD when it comes to straight edges, so is it possible to make a shorter turning chain maybe in order to have straighter edges? Love the stitch though.
You’re turning chain should be 1 if your doing single crochets as your 1st stitch that row, or 2 for double crochet. Any less night cause the yarn to pull and pucker. I hope this helps!!
@@laurelgirard8475 I started a project with this stitch and am using 2 turning chains instead of 3 and so far it seems to be working well. Thank you!! :)
Change color like you would at the end of any row, I suspect: by pulling through a loop of the new color on the last yarn over of the last stitch on the row.
I have never liked the gap in all double crochets… this is a beautiful stitch that eliminates that! Thank you.
I love the way you describe the stitches and dont fast forward the pace. I cant understand your instructions so much better.
I have been an avid crocheter since 1976. How have I never heard of this stitch!!! Thank you so very much! Great video tutorial. :D

I've always hated the spaces double crochet created. Thank you for this tutorial. Can't wait to try this on my next project.

That creates a lovely thick fabric. Thanks!!
It really does!

This is a stitch I’ve really been wanting to learn. Thank you for sharing this technique. 🙂
Hello
Very pretty stitch Sarah, thank you for all you teach to us.
Totally loving your videos... I only came across you a couple of weeks ago and I'm having great fun with my Christmas projects while learning new stitches... Thank you...💗
Beautiful. My new dishcloth pattern.
Sarah this is an interesting stitch it's very pretty thank you for showing us how to do this. Have a Happy Thanksgiving stay safe and God bless
Love this beautiful stitch. Thanks for the tutorial
You’re very welcome! Thank you for watching :)
Never seen or heard of this stitch. I love it and would love to use it to create a sweater
Thank you very much 😊 it's very nice for winter clothes
I’ve been crocheting since 1974 or so. I remember doing this before. It would help make a sweater cozier.
Thank you for a good tutorial! I found the stitch in a pattern and it's perfect for other projects I have planned too.
Such a great Job 👏
I've been looking for a tighter less consuming yarn Stitch..
This Is the one 😍
THANK You 🙏 for this well presented & explained Tutorial 💗
You’re very welcome :)
Super cool. I have been looking for a new stitch.
This is beautiful, but I wonder why 1 side has a straight edge and the other is really humpy??
I think if you chain 2 instead of 3 when starting a new row it will keep it straighter.
It's a beautiful stitch I like it but it's seems like you will need a lot of yarns to make something big like a blanket thank you for sharing I will try it to make a purse
Very nice stitch. . I will be using this. Thank you.
Been crocheting for 50 years and never heard this stitch
Thank you so much, this is an awesome stitch!
I thought you mentioned something about ending the row so as to not get an extra stitch but I have watched this three more times now and don't see it. Somehow I keep getting an extra stitch in each row. Help!! :) thanks
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Cool 😄
Very pretty. A question- what do you do to even out that lumpy bumpy side?
You could block the piece when finished or add an edging
Very nice!❤
Thank you!
Are the edges always that uneven, or is there a way to make them straight as on regular dc?
Hello is there a way to make the edges straight?
I hate to sound dumb, but cannot be used on any pattern that calls for a double crochet?
🎉😊😊😊 😊😊😂😊😊😊😊❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😢😊i😊😊😢😢
Thx🌹🌹🌹
What kind of crochet hook are you using?
Furls Odyssey
What if you wanted to change the color with this pattern?
Change color like you would at the end of any row, I suspect: by pulling through a loop of the new color on the last yarn over of the last stitch on the row.
I love this...but the the side edges don't match each other. One side looks like a loose flat while the other looks like a scallop.
❤️💖🧡✋🏻😊
The edges are so uneven.
