It is worth noting that Jeff's bubbles have physics and can bounce off walls. You can get healing to players out of sight by ricocheting them into others, or by lobbing them over walls and letting them fall onto the other side.
maybe this is because of an update but u certainly can bubble urself while on groot, and its really good to do so bc groot with the speed buff and jeff on ur back as a long/mid range option is so good. every groot ive played with has absolutely loved it bc they get the absolute hard pocket healer and a fight buddy almost at all times. its only a noob trap if ur groot is unaware or if u are unaware as jeff lol, be prepared for cc ults, insta kill ults, etc. and if youre a support or jeff main you really should be keeping track of those already anyways, thats a large part of using your own ult at least defensively. the trick with highgrounding his ult i did not know though, bless u for that
3:48 - you can bring as many people off the ledge with you as you can hold. I've killed 5 people at once with it. Also, allies are invulnerable *and are healed* over time while Jeff has them ulted.
If you aim down when spitting enemies off the map, you can send them out with enough force to hit the border and instantly die which works on flying characters too
I dont ever planning to play MR, but Jeff conquered my heart and thats why i am here. FFS he reloading by eating a fish? Actually biggest reason to play after his cuteness itself.
@@EMC77707 They are abilities that hinder your gameplay, they are sorted into light CC and hard CC, for example: Magneto's right click is light CC as it knocks back enemies (displaces them), and Scarlet Witch's E, Doctor Strange's ult, Groot's ult, Jeff's ult and Bucky's right click are hard CC, as they immobilize the enemy and even may make the enemy be unable to attack or use any abilities there's also CC abilities that apply mobility lock and disallow using only mobility abilities

You can absolutely heal yourself on groots shoulder, shooting bubbles at his back heals both of you. Saving bubbles for when you are low is the strat. Any second you aren’t healing you’re also basically a shoulder mounted turret for him, this lets you shred anybody groots fighting guaranteeing he wins the fight.

It makes sense though, as his winrate % was in the 30s. Like, that's really, really weak. So hopefully these buffs will allow him to equal the other strategists.
Something i do with jeff bubbles is that if i need to burst heal, i throw 2-3 on my ally and heal stream afterwards. And the bubbles heal in an aoe so you can group heal in a pinch. On top of running into the bubbles yourself to heal a nearby ally, and with the groot and jeff combo you can throw bubbles at your feet to heal yourself while you're on groot's back. The only drawback being is that you can't place your bubbles down for allies to pick up especially if you're trying to burst heal. Love that shark

CC is Crowd Control, every ability that influences enemy/allies movements is a CC (stun, slow ecc...) getting cced--> gettin stunned/slowed ecc... Play around your team, first kill the enemy team then capture the point. From here, just learn while playing, don't stress yourself to be competitive in a type of game u never played
Another tip for his ultimate. If you want to throw people off the edge of the map to kill them, instead of jump jumping off and eliminating yourself too if you have time just go to the edge and look down. It spits them into the death barrier giving them minimal time to react
i love just telling my friends to play luna and groot and hopping onto groots back, its actually really op because you can almost never die if your constantly healing the groot
You can heal yourself on groot with e as Jeff I think just aim at the ground. It’s also super quick to swim and then clip back onto groot if you want to get out of trouble or reposition
When with groot as Jeff you can heal yourself with bubbles, when played with a good groot who knows how to use his own cover and environment cover they’re good together, just gotta know how and have good synergy

Just wanna say- you can heal yourself with groot on top! If you aim your bubble straight down, you heal both Groot and yourself with them. Effectively making the both of you nigh immortal with constant heals and constant tanking.
You actually CAN heal yourself while on groot's shoulder by using the bubbles. I just spent a game on one's shoulder healing myself by bubbling the floor when we would get jumped and it worked really well.

I notice during the beta that while you "reloading" or go backward jeff is a little faster because he swim and not run... Is a little tech that can be helpful in a scenario like your teammate is low on healt and you to are low. With little movement speed backward you can risk to cure your ally and not use your ability to go deep and cure only yourself
He’s also the only support that can heal players while dead. If I know I’m about to die I spit out a bunch of bubbles towards my team just to keep them up a little longer
When teaming up with groot, you can heal your self with your bubbles. This also heals groot and constantly giving him a much needed speed boost. 90% of the game I team up with groot wnd in victory, and I have a 100% victory rate and mvp when teamed up with groot and Luna snow
If you go all the way up to the edge and spit out your enemies at a ~50 degree angle, you'll have a much easier time securing kills with Jeff's ultimate.
One thing I’m practicing before I go to ranked is recovering from ledges because these map look like they have a lot of ledges and a lot of charcters like Jeff can just bully you to fall to ur death
I haven’t played since the Closed Beta in July/August, so I haven’t tried out post-buff Jeff, but I feel like his main problem has been that his projectiles are slower compared to other Strategists. Yeah, they’re chunkier but they just felt too slow, especially for Rivals. It felt like I was shooting Iron Man bullets which are (mainly) used for spamming but you don’t really want that kind of gun for a Strategist’s only source of damage. His new buffs look great and definitely help him, but it feels like Jeff could be overshadowed by another fatty-projectile Strategist like Loki or even Rocket simply because (correct me if I’m wrong) they shoot faster with (relatively) big projectiles AKA they have a better chance of not dying to the incoming Spider-Man/Black Panther/Magik who watches Necros religiously.
AMAZING VIDEO (but for real if you keep this up you are going places with marvel rivals great job :) ) It would be great if you could do black panther, a REALLY underrated character and I'm pretty sure he is going to get buffed. Or you another underrated character, The Friendly Neighbor guy that's on your UA-cam icon. He is VERY fun when you get the hang of it. Bye and Godbless :)

I really hope Jeff gets lots of skins, he has so much cosmetic potential. You can skin him as nearly any animal. Imagine a hippo/crocodile Jeff!

If u get really good at evaciveness u can forget highe ground and stay in the thick if it just going from running to healing ur team.
Sustain heals like a beam are usually my favorite, and having them on a cute shark is a great bonus XD

A thing to note about Groot and Jeff’s teamup. If you look straight down and shoot a bubble at Groot, you can still technically self heal on his back.
