The whole series, Atom's not sure if Tenma loves him. Tenma doesn't know if Atom will ever love him either. The whole time, all they want to do is love each other, but they're not sure how. This makes the ending all the more powerful. (This only applies to the Japanese version, as the English dub completely butchered their relationship.) Love this anime. (But only the Japanese versin with english subs!!)
