That's really good feedback, sorry that was maybe my first 5 videos when I created the channel. it was I believe 3.99 and I was able to transfer over 100 plus activities in 5 mins which for me was totally worth it. There are free ways to transfer it using a computer but I feel this was the quickest and doesn't require anymore devices. Glad your using strava tho. I love it more than NRC.
To add to my previous comment… Strava is partnering with Nike so you can share activities between the two platforms. Strava said it will be available later summer 2023
If both apps are connected to Apple Health, does that double up the data of a run? EG, does it count as two runs, or is Health Apple smart enough to merge the information?
@@MilesLangley when I go for a run, I record it with the NRC app and it automatically uploads to Strava. You still can’t import any activity into the nrc app. So if you go for a run using the fitness app or Strava, you won’t get the mileage on nrc
Thanks for sharing! I noticed most people are just wanting to bulk transfer from one app into the other. in that case paying a one time cost might be worth it its so easy and after. Cancel the service if you have no further use. Hope it doesn't go up in price more than the 3 dollars
You know that is really good feedback. I should've showed more of the post transfer. I can share that when you transfer your runs. My "Title of the run" transferred, GPS coordinates and heart rate. Only those 3 things.
I was really surprised it does show GPX Data. SO yes routes and maps. When I made the video the app is free. Now I hear its around $3.99. I am not affiliated with the app in anyway but I was happy that I was able to import 50+ runs from years ago
Thank you for the video. Do you have to do this after each run manually? i.e. Click on the activity, share it to Strava? Or is there a way to auto-sync?
@@Aesthetic_Al Thank you for your reply! Got it. Yes I am aware of bulk load, was able to get my 2 years of data using that. I was just wondering of auto-sync, and wanted to make sure I am not missing something very obvious. Thank you!!
Sure buddy, I tried multiple methods to auto sync but there is no such system Strava clearly says - any activities sent to Apple activity from a third party will not auto sync ( so we have to reply on above app, however there are few apps I.e gymaholic can import data but very basic / no heart rate etc OK I also noted there are "partnered" apps with strava such as fitbod that will directly send data to Strava without rungap Obviously strava Apple watch app is desperately primitive for weight training etc / for running it's OK 👏👏thanks for the video
Does anyone know if it’ll get confused when transferring data before two years ago? I’ve used both NRC and Strava for the last couple years simultaneously. However, I have about 4 years of NRC that I’d like to add on. In short, I don’t want duplicate runs transferring over from NRC to Strava (that is already on Strava) TIA
When I made the video it was free. Someone a few weeks ago in the comments mentioned they were able to do a bulk transfer for $3.99 I believe. Idk if the price would jump by that much
Thanks for this comment. I wasn't kidding in the video when I said it takes just a few minutes. Totally worth the 3.99, its wild before they didn't have a $charge.
This doesn’t work unless you sign up for the “Swag Bag” which costs $10.99 for one year or $3.99 for three months. It probably works but at a cost. If I knew ahead of time I wouldn’t have downloaded the run gap app, logged in and authorized it to use my data.. disappointing.
I know I'm a year late, but what data does it transfer. I have 8 years of a Nike Run Club data I'd like to transfer, but I'd like to keep distance, date, pace, & run maps
NOTE TO VIEWERS: Aesthetic_AI gets you to watch the entirety of this video and then does not mention that you have to pay for the software... The cost: $4 for use over 3 months $11 for a year Aesthetic_AI should have been emphatic.
Thanks Joshua, I pinned a comment already on this to help the viewers. This wasn't the pricing a year ago when the video was made. Hope it helps tho I think to this day it's the quickest and simplest way to do it without the need of a desktop.
it makes u pay if u try to do it, just did it and was upset to find theres a paywall >:(
Yeah $3.99 for 3 months but definitely well worth it in my opinion. Works with a large list of other apps as well.
Would have been handy to mention this in the video.
Method works but the fact that you have to pay will be important to many
I went through all that and then am told I have to pay?? You should have mentioned that at the beginning of the video

Do you need a Strava subscription to access this feature?

Its finally available :)

Rungap does not sync with Nike Run Club. This was pointless. This was 2 years ago so I guess the app changed. As of 4/29/2024 it does not work.
yep, same here.... ugh

It's now in December 2022 costs 3 month in Rungap to transfer activities to strava

only in the Apple Store..... any options for Android?
Not that I know of, but I just ordered my first android so I will be making more iOS and android content on all health and fitness now.
I was looking forward to seeing what the transferred data looks like in Strava from Nike Run Club. Does it show all the data! (Notes, HR, etc)

Hi, how do we import data from workout app to Nike Run Club?
Does it include the map/routes?

Thank you for the video. Do you have to do this after each run manually? i.e. Click on the activity, share it to Strava? Or is there a way to auto-sync?
I almost certain no way to auto sync but you do have the option to bulk load. I took my runs from 2013-2015 into strava that way. Hope this helps

How to move it from strava to nike run club
I don't believe NRC allows you to import any data. I could be wrong tho. Strava you can export easily with the browser using the bulk tools.
@@Aesthetic_Al i will try it
It makes you pay and you have to do it for each and ever run, I have 500+ runs, its not feasible to do each and every run.. not useful

Downloaded Run Gap and can’t even sign into NRC on it, a bit buggy unfortunately
Thank you mate. Easy as, and if doing a big bulk import it's worth the $6 AUD for the app.
Absolutely, glad it helped
I don’t think you can import activities into the NRC app though
After you do this, does RunGap continue to sync your runs from NRC to Strava automatically? Or do you have to do it manually each time after each run?
It is only manually as far I know. But you can Bulk transfer so you do not have to go one by one.
so easy! and well worth the couple of bucks....thanks!

How to transfer from strava to NRC ?
what abt android ?
