Excellent demonstration. You actually did all the necessary steps. On UA-cam..and real life..most skip quite a few...even the actual mechanics I've seen... To the people complaining about the price... it's worth every penny to know you won't have to fix anything on this brake job. I've seen so many mechanics get it done quickly only to have the customer come back with issues. You did a good quality job. Great video! A voice over would be helpful too, so people know why youre doing each step.
I've used both your rear and front brake videos this weekend. They were great, thanks. I think Mazda specs 94 ft-lbs for the lugs, though, if you look at the middle of their recommended range. Also I have the dual piston front brakes which were a challenge.
6:28 if you dojt have that tool whats the best way too safely retract that ? Gotta do these brakes next weekend was just watching videos agead of time 😂😅
This was a great video! Thank you so much! Question: if I live in a tropical city like Miami (obviously no snow, just rain), should I be using all of those liquids/grease treatments as well??
Why don't you use any lubricant between the brake pads and the metal clips? I also appreciate the fact that you wire brushed everything and used a torque wrench.
I did not. If you do it slow it’s fine. But if your worried about it then open the bleeder screw when compressing it. It’s not a bad idea. I just don’t do that all the time.

Thanks, I just did the front brakes on my 2018 CX5. Not sure why the need for a 21mm socket? The bracket bolts and lug nuts are 17mm for my car.
This was a great video! Thank you so much!

Great job, i aftually enjoy it make me feel like I can do this as well.
Wait so u charged 200 per each break?
No $150 per axle. So all the brakes would be $300
When you compressed the calipers you didn't open the bleed valve? I thought that wasn't good for abs brake systems.
I did not. If you do it slow it’s fine. But if your worried about it then open the bleeder screw when compressing it. It’s not a bad idea. I just don’t do that all the time.
