Bass Fishing in a Secret Pond in the Pasture { Bites on Every Cast! }

I don't think I have ever had so many bass bite on my fishing lures in that short amount of time. Fish definitely do bite better the less the pond is fished!

there's no water coming over the Indian spillway....but the cats are biting in the lake. i found some zebra mussel beds and the cats are stacked. {right where you were fishing and down the wall about 30yards.} the shad spawned a couple of weeks ago and they're about 1.5 ". i'm using a pearl baby shad swim bait and catching crappies gills and some cats. this happens from 7~12 at nite.
i'll let you know when the spillway is fish able again.

Yes it is, it has been my favorite ever since I first used it.

With that may hits it's clear that the frog wasn't the issue. May I suggest carrying a hook file in your tackle box-something missing at 9:18. I fished tournaments in MI with fairly good success for 20+ yrs and learned early on from better/more experienced anglers how important it is. File 3 sides in a pyramid shape with a handheld file. The test is, if the hook has difficulty dragging across your fingernail. God bless.
