Why would anyone care what you think, when you display such contempt and openly act so egotistically imbecilic, and just try to enforce a presumed power that unless a law is about to, or is in fact being committed is not at your disposal.

Same story every time, as soon as the police start losing the argument and get proved wrong they always turn to the default response of "you're being loud, you're becoming aggressive, you're being rude, you're becoming agitated, no doubt that's their "get-out-of-jail-free-card" when they use those excuses to jump on and arrest you under section blah blah blah when there was nothing to arrest you for in the first place
And "l'm not gonna argue with u" another one they throw in so they don't get exposed.

Chewing gum reminds me of an officer that knocked my door at 1am over a petty matter regarding a neighbourhood dispute, he was chewing, hands in pockets top button undone, started with alright mate, after a few back and forth about his appearance, I said send a PCSO, probably more professional then you, shut the door. I hate those late night police calls, it's deliberate.
Of coarse it’s deliberate. 2 years ago a SWAT team of 15 heavily armed men, broke into an elderly couples ( both 69) in the middle of the night. The elderly terrify them. Cowardice is now part of their training.

Sounds similar to my encounter, an officer chewing gum furiously saw me exit the supermarket with my shopping bags, as i opened the boot he came over “ALRITE THERE YOU GOT DRUGS IN THE CAR” Utter nonsense!!!! his dress code was awful and looked as though he hadn't washed himself for weeks. The loud chewing was incredibly painful to watch

People who wallow in their own assumed self importance are normally found in many of the public facing services.
They claim they are understaffed but always have enough to harass a man filming. Nothing for grooming gangs, burglars or illegal migrants though.
Also if you call someone a name on,one, they’ll come visit you in the rainbow car.

So many times around police stations you get 2 sometimes 6 plods out to ask about filming them yet they bleat about not having enough staff to send them out to investigate burglaries. Always enough of them to ask about the building being filmed though. Keep up the vids AB, always entertaining.

And they always have the cops on speed dial. Takes us days to get cops for a burglary but the public sector gets them in seconds. That's what you call a police state.

Hi AB, one more good one for us!, I used to go to that place to sign in the last time I bothered to play that game!, it was something that was a part of my life when I did not manage too well!, I had periods of unemployment and the social security benefits were vital to get me through those times. In the end it all got so silly and the benefits so small it just was not worth it, they were never able to find me any jobs, there were none for people with my limited qualifications. At least the place was wide open all the time and apart from having to wait for far too long there was no hassle.
Some time before that the building was erected to house a scientific instrument manufacturer, one of my mates did was an apprentice there in the nineteen sixties. That and all the other small businesses and manufacturers gave up and quit the city in the seventies and eighties, there is only one large engineering employer in the area now.
When you get too Park Street outside the police station you get hassled by two cops who seem to think that they can treat members of the public with such contempt out in the public domaine, once more you put them firmly to rights!.
I used to go in there from time to time, once at their behest for a public order offence which they could not pursue because I did not give them the evidence they needed and they did not bother to get it for themselves. The other times to report bicycle thefts which was equally pointless!.
I have not had any reason to go near the place again for the last twenty years now!.
That last bit when she said she would not engage with you any further did make me laugh!, she was obviously completely out of her depth with you!, well done!.

I wouldn't say she was completely out of her depth at all - just mystified regarding the cameraman's purpose or intent (an understandable reaction).
@@g3zdm Hi g3zdm, thank you for this reply, my remark about her being out of her depth was entirely justified, her job that she is out there being paid to do does not include idle curiosity about lawful activities of members of the public. She is there only to bear witness to and respond to criminal offences and answer questions if asked by members of the public.
I do not doubt that she is mystified by much behaviour, we all are most of the time, quite often I am not even sure exactly why I do things!. Much of what is going on around us is of no concern tom us actual hazards are so few and far between most of the time we can go around safe in our own little bubble. It might make some sense if she is too deeply troubled by such things to go out and do some research in her own time, she would most likely find street photographers much more co-operative.
I am sorry to say that it is much more likely that she was really only trying to assert authority she is not entitled to, this appears to be a very common issue with the police, it could be the primary reason that many of them have joined in the first place, to get carte blanche to throw some weight around.
I do accept your suggestion that there is some foundation for her attitude but she is out there to do her job not indulge in her own fantasies. While I might understand why she does what she does I still cannot condone it.

Useful to know though. I needed to go to a police station today for a driving thing, but they've closed up the public counter, and the 101 number just said it was busy. I was seriously tempted to start filming just to get some help.

I am 10 minutes away from where those kids drowned in Solihul. Imagine how the parents feel. I bet they were getting ready for Christmas.
Sending best wishes I grew up in kingshurst from age 0 to when I was 13 I played often in that park as well. I hope the community know people from all over the uk are sending love and support to them. I’m now in Nottinghamshire but very sad the community has suffered such great loss. My condolences to you all.
