They only celebrate one birthday a year. In Korea you add a year to your actual age (they count the time you're in the womb as a year). But they also add ANOTHER year if you're born on January 1st.....(for example: Sungmin was born January 1, 1986 so he's considered 24 in Korea). I'm not sure why they do that
