gfriend was the last girl group i supported. after them, i didn’t find any girl groups as talented as them (viviz excluded). i started being a kpop fan in 2nd gen, so i really have my standards. i feel lucky i was able to stan gfriend when they were still actively promoting.

The Viviz trio improved a lot. I watched them live just a day before this came out, and they had a lot of power in their voices. Eunha especially surprised me, SinB and Umji also leveled up. They are not as dependent to Yuju anymore.

I also love Yuju’s more mature sound. I don’t think she ‘lost’ anything at all. On the contrary, I think she’s become a better vocalist, with very good breath control, tone versatility and just all around fantastic musicality, which is something that comes with maturity and wisdom. In my opinion, her mature voice is like water, naturally flowing and clear ❤

I am not Buddy but I really like their music. This is a group where I don't realize that there has been a big presence that has been missing from Kpop until I listen to their Killing Voice performance. VIVIZ has been great in the meantime, but GFRIEND needs to come back as a whole!
The fact that they once again had too much attention from the public after the comeback announcement shows how much GFriend was needed again in the industry. This month has been magical for 2nd 3rd gen fans... Starting with bigbang, then 2ne1 coming back, then twice, news that infinite is coming back and now gfriend and got7. Suju coming back for their 20th anniversary next year. So many memories of that era... The best things that could happen in 2024 Edit: Special mention definitely to Jaejoong and Junsu after the 15 year ban. B1A4 back in January too. Hopefully we'll have a comeback next year before their 15th anniversary. Also to BAP who came back this year with their names since they can't use the group name. CNBLUE ... With their comeback last month. Beast(now highlight) earlier this year.. Gosh... It's nice to see our teenage era of idols back.
I feel like Yerin's vocal talent was overshadowed by her label as face of the group, she's such a gem and i think her singing skills hasn't fully explored & developed yet. She has so much potentials as singer, she looks more confident & improved a lot here i'm proud as fan
Yeah she has a powerful voice like yuju, has a lot of potential and I see improvements, it would have been nice if they used her voice more like it doesn't have to be extra lines but just a backup to the members with weaker voice and make her do some yuju's part she can handle.
Finally I found someone thinks the same. The fact that she can cover Yuju's highnotes, sing highnotes in covered songs and even join singing variety shows and her solos say it all.

Gfriend was the first kpop group I fall for. I learned what a comeback was with Fingertip, knew what a maknae was with Umji, my first bias with Sinb. I didn't knew I could love a group so much as this. It's the greatest gift to be able to see them together again, I'm sure they are as nervous as they are happy! GFRIEND❤OT6❤Forever!!

Mago has a significant amount of english before and in the chorus and “Me gustas tu” is literally spanish 😭 They definitely have more korean compared to current kpop songs but their lyrics aren’t only korean.
Ahhh now I remember times when I was a little girl listening to these songs. I was a little girl who didn't know life and lived in her own world. Now I grew up and became a teacher. Seeing Gfriend's reunion by chance reminded me of how much I've grown. I got more emotional with each song :') I'm not even their fan but every song carries an experience from us. gfriend was a group that consisted of members with excellent vocal abilities and should never have disbanded. It's so nice to see them together. I hope we can see a comeback ♡

I remember when Yuju used to be hard carry asf but now the other members have found their voice quite nicely. Umji has really improved.

Actually yes. For a long time, the only foreign word they had in their title songs was "Me Gustas Tu". That only changed very slightly with "Fingertip". In a way, they had a pretty good claim to be the "true" Nation's Girl Group.

Ahhh now I remember times when I was a little girl listening to these songs. I was a little girl who didn't know life and lived in her own world. Now I grew up and became a teacher. Seeing Gfriend's reunion by chance reminded me of how much I've grown. I got more emotional with each song :') I'm not even their fan but every song carries an experience from us. gfriend was a group that consisted of members with excellent vocal abilities and should never have disbanded. It's so nice to see them together. I hope we can see a comeback ♡
