- It was a couple of days of crabbing action with Friends and Family in Freeport Texas, but at the end of the video when we were counting and cleaning the crabs was the result of 1 day. It was 100 crabs.

good job Viet. that's the place i took my wife 15 years ago...that's was the last time we did crabbing.. lol we did good, but found out, all the crabs didn't have much meat in it. so strange.. anyway, thinking about introducing my kids some crabbing as they like to grab live crabs whenever we go to an Asian market. my question is how long does the run last? wanna make sure we go crabbing when the run is not over since it's gonna be a long drive for us.
Hi Dunkky23, thank you for commenting. To answer your question, it seems like now until the end of October. For some reason once it gets a little chilly, there are fewer crabs that come out. From my experience’s. I hope that helps.

Hi there, can you show me how to get there? I usually go to free port to crabbing but not recignizing this place.
It’s on 332 towards Surfside Beach in Freeport before the bridge at the blinking lights.

Hi Tommy, it on Highway 332 heading towards Surfside Beach. At the flashing light just before the beach, on either side.

Hello Loan, cho nay la o Freeport Texas. Tren duong 332 huong ve Surfside Beach, truoc khi qua cai cau de toi Surfside Beach the se thay cai den trop tac. O 2 ben dieu cau duoc. Just in case if my Vietnamese was not good enough. Here’s the directions in English. It is located on highway 332 heading towards Surfside Beach. Just before the big bridge you will see the blinking lights, there on either side is where we caught the crabs. Good luck 👍🏻
Is there a size limit?
Yes, it’s 5 inches or more from point to point here in Texas. But I only keep 6 inches or more.
