Make Kofta This Way! 15 MINUTES Veggy & Kofta Balls 🤩 Why I Didn't Try This Before! Easy & Elegant

- With this method, it is amazingly easy and delicious Kofta, soft and juicy. The base with shredded potatoes and carrots becomes an elegant main dish.
Ingredients For the kofta:
1 medium-size onion
2 big potato
3 cloves of garlic
450gr. ground beef
1 tsp each salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano
a handful of chopped parsley
3 tbsp olive oil
For the base
2 carrots
1 big potato
a handful of chopped parsley
1/2 tsp each or to taste salt, black pepper, dried mint
1 egg
2-3 tbsp flour (you can use 1 tbsp of it cornflour if you like)
oil to grease the pan
For the tomato sauce:
2-3 tbsp olive oil
1 heaped tbsp tomato paste
about 3/4 hot water
about 1 cup shredded mozzarella or kashar cheese

I made this with lamb mince instead and served with bulgar pilau. Absolutely delicious. In fact I made it 2 nights in a row as everyone loved it so much! A firm family favourite now. Just got back from Turkey and had some unbelievably great food while there so look forward to trying some recipes for meatballs. Your recipe looks great. I had some that were similar in Izmir with tomatoes sauce and I think yoghurt on top and some shoestring fried potato. The meatballs had a nice Smokey flavour to them. Thank you for sharing it’s given me some great inspiration and look forward to looking at your other’s recipes

I like that even though it contains meat, you've also put in lots of veggies to balance it. It seems several Mediterranean cultures understand that balance and eat healthier, more balanced diets and the food is still delicious. So many countries need to learn from this. I can see why so many doctors recommend eating the Mediterranean way.
