Thank you for these videos. I’ve been having a really hard time lately. But when I watch your videos, and rewatch them, it actually relaxes me. I also think that the fact that you put subtitles in instead of like narrating the video, actually helps me relax even further. For 20 minutes, I watch your videos and I’m taken to another world. And trust me that 20 minutes is sometimes the best of my day. Thank you

You've really nailed it on the head with your description. There's a graceful calmness to them because of that. Sitting back and watching and reading rather simple, but still very intriguing, adventures is a needed respite in a world where media fights for attention and tries to hit all your senses at once and the world seems to be going wrong.
      Thanks Solo.

These kinds of ferries always feel like a whole different world because they are clearly designed for truck drivers/cargo lorries/etc rather than your average tourist so they feel more industrial and a little like they don’t live in 2022 like the rest of us. There’s a charm to that.

    • @feuilletoniste

Yes - it seemed almost like being on a long-distance space voyage, with the constant sound of the engines and just the cleaning robot for company. It seems like it would be quite peaceful in moderation, and might be good for a kind of traveling writer’s retreat - no wifi means fewer distractions, and the sense of motion and background sounds can be helpful as well.

Wow, just got off a 24 hour Maizuru to Otaru and back ferry, and I gotta say. There is NO charm to this. Great if you need to move your car and have no other choice, but the ferry is dirty, loud, unstabilized and poorly designed for passengers. No fresh air, the only outside deck is underneath the smokestack. Fng toxic. I hated it and do not recommend it. Japan you can do better. Oh and freaking expensive! 2 people plus car was 75,000 YEN... I took a week long cruise in the Caribbean for that amount. Garbage!

@@BoskiM Pretty sure he is a paid influencer. Ive been on a few ferries in Japan.. Always been not very good. I know Japan can do way better but the company doesnt have a reason to do so. Really 24 hours, 2 people, shitty room and 70000YEN... really quite a rip off.

Another great funny video. The timing of the dad-joke "More like OmurICE!" made me choke on my drink.
I live in Japan and really want to try one of these overnight ferries but I dont think my wife would be keen on an all vending machine option, although it would be fine for me. Eating microwaved food and drinking all day doesnt sound like a bad way to spend the trip. Some of the stuff looked questionable but the omurice looked legit.

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20.
Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God.
Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Wow, I was like "Is that a Henry Moore Sculpture?" So had to pause and google. It is and I now know there are 22 locations scattered throughout Japan that contain his Sculptures. Would love to go to the open air museum to see all the ones there. There is an awesome Website that shows where all his Sculptures are on display for the public around the world.

I know one in Düsseldorf Hofgarten and of course the famous one in front of the former German Chancellory in Bonn seen offten in the news when Bonn used to be the German capital. Apparently Chancellor Helmut Schmidt was a friend of him.

I laugh every time I see that you type, "open the sesame seed"
And I want to get on one of those Ferries so bad I can't even stand it.
