That stood out to me too, despite this being a mediocre live recording... It's a shame they didnt get a proper great live recording while they were around

I love when people who fall in love with Kingdom find out that he was once a dumpster diving cave troll who created some of the dirtiest metal albums of all time.
The entire spectrum of human emotion exists in this man at all times. We don't deserve him.

I kinda always just assumed he was.
This has a double meaning considering Gene Hoglan was the one who recorded Dethklok drums, and then Devin Townsend actually just looks like Pickles.
This guy will go down in history as having one of the best vocals in metal ironic thing is no one will realize it
Plenty of people realize it.

this is the heaviest thing I've heard in a while, just discovered this. Can someone recommend the best songs/albums from them?
I like "heavy as a really heavy thing" but pretty much all albums are good
Start with the 2005 album, Alien, then 2003's Strapping Young Lad and then City from 1997. Too many good tracks to list.
The new black
As you can see... pretty much all of their discography is a good way to start
