Thanks for all of the videos, vey useful! I've had my 2015 F800GT since new and now saving money by doing my own servicing'
My opinion, (for what it's worth) of the low seat is that I find it more comfortable than the standard seat. I fitted mine 5 years ago along with 20mm bar risers, I reckon I take more weight on my legs due to the change in posture. Definitely better on long runs and touring.

How is the knee angle? I suppose the legs get a little cramped up with the shorter distance from Seat to footpegs?? Lovely bike! Looking to Pick one up myself. 🤩

Is seat comfort compromised?...is seat upholstery reduced? How does the low seat reduce height by 40mm other than sacrificing comfort?

Hi Gunga, well its just as you said, the upholstery is reduced, but the seat is also made somewhat smaller, so people with shorter legs can reach the ground better. Ofcourse its a harder seat, but when you are a short person is one or the other mate lolll

Jai la jauge d'essence de ma bmw f800 gt est bloquée a moitié sur le tableau de bord que se soit le réservoir vide ou plein,
Svp dites moi cest quoi le problème.

La jauge ne montre que la dernière moitié du réservoir. Quand la pointe de flèche disparaît, vous êtes à la moitié d'un réservoir

I have a lowered bmw f800st by a hypro suspension. My side stand is now unfortunately too long, so my motorcycle is dangerously upright when i park the motorcycle. Is that also the case with the bmw f800gt, and can this be solved?

I lowered my wife's bike, then cut out a small section of the side stand and welded it back together. Has held perfectly for years
