Thanks for this! I'm really wanting to get into tabletop supply making and this is a huge help. I have some nice hardwoods to cut into shape and I think I'll make a project out of this with my dad. Thanks for having such accessible, easy to follow instructions and methods!

Nice video, rare to find a tutorial like this where someone shows the cheap non hundreds if not thousands of dollars of tools method. Appreciate the discussion on wood too, people really underestimate how much a die (especially sharp edged) can dent a piece of wood.

Thanks Karkarov! And yeah, it was only a few short years ago when my thinking would have been, "Craft project? Balsa wood!" =D

Well done. Thanks for the demo. Have you and easy dice tower to go with that sweet dice tray?

Thanks Tim! No tower yet, so I'll add it to the project list!

Use liquid nail instead of glue if you are not using any fasteners so accidental water exposure wont make it come apart. Water will effect that glue even though it may be water resistant. A small tube is more than enough. A very nice tray.

Ah, that's a great thought! Thanks for the tip, and the kind words.

    What’s that yellow tool called?

The yellow box with the slots for the handsaw is a Miter Box - super handy!
