Exactly. Chansey Farming Method is best. I'm a patient guy, I could grind for hours, this is definitely the best way. I did try the Golduck Method, gave it up in 5 minutes XD
RageGaming completely skipped over the reason this method is good: If you fight a pokemon like Chansey, the amount of exp you get is determined by the level of the recipient pokemon, which leads to massive diminishing returns above level 60-80. Whereas if you fight in an auto-battle, the amount of exp you get is based on the level of your lead pokemon (notice that all the followers get the exact same amount, which is 50% of the lead). I assume RageGaming completely ignored this mechanic, because he's fighting these golducks with a level 80, and on top of that it's a slow-ass turtle. Catch a bunch of random level 45 electric or grass types to use as your lead pokemon and this farm is significantly better.
Been doing this from The start i didnt even need to go anyway just look for a poke center & just do the same look for an area with the pokemons are in a decent level
They don't evolve from autobattle so just make sure to do the evolution level from candies or regular battle. And you can change moves at any time (except TMs of course) from the summary screen so not so terrible if you check every now and then
They learn the moves, you just don't get a notification of it. You can go into the menu and have them relearn them. Evolution will require them to level up in any way other than by auto battle.
This method is mostly hype. Don't bother using it. 3:28 This golduck pit is filled with dratini as well which don't give you as much experience. Plus this adds to the problem of the game having memory leaks, by leaving the game open and AFK farming XP, and by increasing spawns of golduck and dratini, you're stressing the game until something bad happens. In the game's current state, I would not use this method, but in theory and if you were not AFK-ing the XP grind, it CAN get you some levels. And yes, I have tried this already for myself, the lets go feature barely knocks out 10 pokemon before the selected pokemon returns to your pokeball, requiring you to throw it out again.
