I love how you guys do these videos for people. Stocked trout. It helps bring in new anglers. We all love targeting the hogs in steelhead or other species but this content is dope and authentic. Keep it going
I'm beginning to learn and it's this type of video that's the top of my list. I love the fun and action of the steelhead/salmon videos, and I'll be there someday. For now? Lake fishing for stock trout is where I'm going to find some good learning and fun early on. Having said that, I emailed Popov today. I can't wait any longer to get on the river.
One of my favorite Addicted videos, and I'm pretty sure I've seen just about all of them. The trout competitions are the best, especially Marlin and Jordan
Beautiful little stocker lake. Thats why I quit throwing mousetails, even with a tight line they just swallow too many hooks for a release. Thanks for the videos!
Nice video! I usually use bottom rigs for trout in lakes, I use a slip float setup in creeks, I’m going for stocked browns at a local lake soon so I’m going to try the sink it series jigs I got for Christmas
You Two should come try out Morgan lake, in la grande Oregon. Big silver trout, catfish, crappie, bass. It's a beautiful lake with an awesome view. Free camping along the lake. I have learned a lot from you guys. See, I suffer from schizophrenia and paranoia an fishing was getting harder an harder for me, to the point where I was going to give it up. But then I found you guys an it turned my life around. I told myself I can't give fishing up, I bleed fishing an love it to much.. so thank you guys so much.. Bobber down an Fishing on.....
Recognize the lake Have lots of great memories catching nice fish there with my brothers and other family members over the years. Would switch back and forth between the two techniiques, but bottom fishing alwaysbhad slightly better tesults at that particular place. Nice video guys, thanks!
What rods were those you two had? And for Marlin's bobber technique he mentioned the mouse tail to slowly sink, how was that done? The mouse tail usually floats. Heavier hook or small weight maybe? Thank you Addicted!!!
Thanks for the lake trout content, please more! Steelheads are interesting but it's not that common to have rivers full of salmons anywere near, at least where I live :(
I was rooting for the Eagle. Reminds me of a trout pond in Connecticut I used to fish at. There was a osprey fishing as well. Unlike the Eagle swooping in, an osprey pulls in its wings and falls like a stone towards the water. At the last second he starts beating his wings to stop the fall and grabs the fish in his talons
Y’all guys are fish slayers guys....I just bought one of those okuma celilo with a shimano sienna 1000 ready for trout opener on the 16th in San Diego much love addicted fishing fish on🎣✌🏻
You guys are awesome thanks for all the info. Have you guys ever considered going fishing with a fan to see maybe how they do things or maybe how they get into fish could be fun
I absolutely loved this video! You guys crack me up! lol.... som DOPE fish though for sure! I can't wait to get out on the water with you guys sometime...
The issue i have with the power eggs is the trout eat them to deep and i gotta either take them home and eat em or cut the hook off and let them go and i hate doing that
I like Marlins videos. know his tutorials havent always went to plan. Hut a few blanks but that just shows its real. If we caught every time it wouldnt be called fishing. It would be called catching 😂✌
Those fish eat anything. Ive seen them hit top water bass lures. I usually do best of spinners and spoons around the swimming area. Power bait on the bottom has caught some giants off the fishing dock.
I don’t understand. For the Berkeley mice tail fished under bobber, wouldn’t the mouse tail float right on the surface? I don’t see a split shot or any other weight below the bobber.🤔
I've done some floating for stockers here in the Toronto area, and I use the Berkley Gulp minnows, 2.5". Just have to match them to the type of minnows in the waterway and it's like Christmas morning opening up presents, one after another. The scent that comes off these does a great job, unfortunately I also find that if you let them eat it for too long you end up gut hooking them. You guys should give them a try, they work GREAT!!!
Unless Washington has similar lakes throughout the states, then i know where your at i believe battleground lake, which would be the coolest thing ever tbh
Hello. I have been watching your guys channel for awhile and I was actually wondering if I sent you some of my handmade spinners if you would try them out?
Just found and subscribed immediately. For this stock trout set up what would be a good hook size? Your content is fun to watch and listen too keep up the good work!
You guys should do this challenge with but you can use any lure or bait, any body of water, and any fish species. Except each fish species is a different amount of points. I would personally make it: Sturgeon: 100 Any sunfish: 1 Sucker: 20 State record fish: Automatic win Rainbow trout: 10 Cutthroat trout: 15 Threatened fish (Bull trout or Greenback Cutthroats): 50 Salmon or Steelhead: 50 Whitefish: 10 Carp: 15 You get the point Except instead of 20 minutes you have a longer time frame like 1 month or 1 week. Please consider!
It wouldn't be an addicted video without Marlin missing hook sets.

I feel like most of the time using powerbait on the bottom is more effective but it’s way more fun IMO to catch them on a spinner or with a bobber.
i gotta go fishing again, Ive been locked in my house for too long. love the content and happy fishing!
Right!!?
One of my favorite Addicted videos, and I'm pretty sure I've seen just about all of them. The trout competitions are the best, especially Marlin and Jordan
Is “Getting Bendo” a T-Shirt yet?? If not, there should be
Fishin in the swimmin area there is a no no lol
That eagle must love when the truck comes with the stocker trout! Great shots of the bird
Never snub the mice tails! Only thing working last weekend when I went out. BTW, the Eagle wins style points.
I prefer the chartreuse head and orange tail mice tails! Love em, and chartreuse garlic eggs
only thing i catch em on!
I love mousetails under a float. I run em on an itty bitty jighead
yep
I will go with Jordan on this one....hard not knowing depth or time of year.
Can you guys teach us how to fish flooded rivers and where to find the fish in them?
Winter. Bobber! Who thumbs down this??!! You cray cray!!
Love the vs. videos. Keep em coming!
What’s up my friends!! I am new to fishing and really appreciate all the how to vids, shout out from your neck of the woods here in PNW
I haven’t been trout fishing in ages. You guys make me want to go again!
Beautiful little stocker lake. Thats why I quit throwing mousetails, even with a tight line they just swallow too many hooks for a release. Thanks for the videos!

Hehe I enjoy the bottom rig setup also... going to give float fishing a try for trout this spring!
Lots of summer weeds where I am, so bobber fishing seems the better method. The winter season is different.

6:58 Jordan stares at the cameraman for a straight sec then to Marlin after losing it😂😂😂
Been ADDICTED to these vids, especially trout.. trout is my lane! Lol 😆 🔥
Watched the vid on Instagram had to come to UA-cam to give it a like and a thumbs up 👍
Recognize the lake Have lots of great memories catching nice fish there with my brothers and other family members over the years. Would switch back and forth between the two techniiques, but bottom fishing alwaysbhad slightly better tesults at that particular place. Nice video guys, thanks!
So much fun! 😆
You guys need to fish Lake Quinault for Cutthroat, and Dollies! The Dollies get huge, and they're pretty good smoked!
Bobber downs are the most satisfying thing to watch.
I've always had my best luck at BGL fishing power eggs off the bottom in the swimming area
What rods were those you two had? And for Marlin's bobber technique he mentioned the mouse tail to slowly sink, how was that done? The mouse tail usually floats. Heavier hook or small weight maybe? Thank you Addicted!!!
I want to know as well
We use a heavier hook to sink them slow
The eagle shots are awesome, way cooler than sea lions eating steelhead near the hatchery
Love these versus challenges! 😂 low key cheering on the eagle while watching
Always love the trout vids always learning new things from you guys thanks
Thanks for the lake trout content, please more! Steelheads are interesting but it's not that common to have rivers full of salmons anywere near, at least where I live :(

Where in CT was it?I have family there and am always looking for places to fish.
@@dcfanchris North Stonington off of route 2
Nice contest but when i saw the eagle thats a bonus nice one Sean
Y’all guys are fish slayers guys....I just bought one of those okuma celilo with a shimano sienna 1000 ready for trout opener on the 16th in San Diego much love addicted fishing fish on🎣✌🏻
Love it 🐟
My daughter and I like to watch your videos of fishing and teach her how to set up her on fishing pool🤙🤙
Finally a perfect video for trout thank you.
I’m addicted .. great content guys
You guys are awesome thanks for all the info. Have you guys ever considered going fishing with a fan to see maybe how they do things or maybe how they get into fish could be fun
Good stuff!! What is good baits to use for cold water for trout. Outside temp is 40-48 degrees .
"Nicer than any fish you ever caught" LOL
I wanted to see what lure Little found digging around in the tackle box. (Maybe a swimbait rigged for eagle. Bad dog.)
Jordan and marlin are too cool! This is my new favorite channel. Great content. Pumped every time a new video comes out!
Love the trout challenge .....
This baby is gonna get one million hits. Great subject.
What sized hooks are you using, and what kind of bottom rig is that? Im new to trout fishing and have been bingeing your tip series.
Love trout fishing videos, would love to see a river or creek trout fishing in Oregon. Washington would be cool too
This is Battle Ground Lake, in Washington :)
I love it 😅 when in doubt ask Jordan or do what he does😂
Loved the content, what's your take on Marshmallows for bait?
Super contest,I loved watching,I thought the Eagle was going to WIN.
I absolutely loved this video! You guys crack me up! lol.... som DOPE fish though for sure! I can't wait to get out on the water with you guys sometime...
Jordan’s got the “blue steel” look in the thumbnail shot😆
Great video guys as always! Tight lines!
Awesome content guys. You all are great fisherman. Paitence is key when trout fishing that’s for sure. You guys ever do any Kokanee videos?
Yea! We plan on having some more coming soon.
What is your recommendation for a leader when bottom fishing?
The issue i have with the power eggs is the trout eat them to deep and i gotta either take them home and eat em or cut the hook off and let them go and i hate doing that
Great video!!
There r some big fish in there...I used to live down there in Yacolt
I like Marlins videos. know his tutorials havent always went to plan. Hut a few blanks but that just shows its real. If we caught every time it wouldnt be called fishing. It would be called catching 😂✌
Jordan’s winning laugh 😂 😂
im in the video lol love the content got the winter chrome kit for christmas gonna head out and try it out.
Jordan is always right! Go 🦅
Those fish eat anything. Ive seen them hit top water bass lures. I usually do best of spinners and spoons around the swimming area. Power bait on the bottom has caught some giants off the fishing dock.
That wild!
I’m referring to that eagle swooping up the trout, I’m jealous lol
Ayyy let’s go adx we on this one
One like for trout fishing and one like for this channel. Happy New Year Eh !!! :)
This video had me hooked after Jordan linked up with that first fighter
I don’t understand. For the Berkeley mice tail fished under bobber, wouldn’t the mouse tail float right on the surface? I don’t see a split shot or any other weight below the bobber.🤔
That was fun. Was totally rooting for the Eagle

Awesome video as always...I really enjoy watching your vids and seeing your company and youtube channel grow. You guys rock🤘
BG Lake baby!
Great video, I loved the eagle footage!
Ive caught 13" cutthroat on mouse tail! And wild rainbows over 10"
Awesome video, keep the content coming!!!
Can we see more stream /river trout fishing this year
Absolutely
Hopefully there will be a keeper Sturgeon episode soon! It would do well.
i was rooting for the Eagle!
Unless Washington has similar lakes throughout the states, then i know where your at i believe battleground lake, which would be the coolest thing ever tbh
In WA state you have to keep the fish if your using bait the survival rate is low for bait hooked fish when returned back
i love it im still 10 but i love fishing at battel ground lake its so cool
Good video friends, a greeting from Spain 👍
love tha vidios i do trout fishing also
Mouse tails float but I didn't see a jighead or splitshot. How did it sink under a float?
if a hook is big enough or hheavy enough ittl sink
Heavier hook
Trout magnet under a bobber or just casted and reel/jigged would our fish both!
yassssssssssssss...winner...winner...chicken dinner...
Thought for sure the Eagle was going to win! LOL
Best fishing channel I've watched on all platforms! Wouldn't watch anything else!

I miss fishing there. These lakes in Michigan suck.
So are the ropes a net to keep the stocked trout in one area?
The Lord of the Streams!!!!
