It's been a while, and because it's the 29/07 in some countries right now I have posted this tribute video to Xenoblade Chronicles 3. A game that anyone watching this can agree..effected us in many ways, so thank you everyone, and thank you Monolithsoft.
A great game love it so much and the dlc story this is a game il go back and replay whenever im bored i laughed i cried i enjoyed a 10 out of 10 game if ever there was one
Thank you Mr Marvell for this touching tribute to a lovely game. It's hard to believe it's been a year. I found myself longing to be back with my favourite cast of playable characters in gaming.
So, I got my sister to play this game and it's interesting how differently we interpreted the love stories. She thinks that noah/mio (not just N & M) are toxic AF, whereas I think they have the potential to work through it. She's not as optimistic about eunie/taion as I am. That said, we both agree that Sena is best girl and that she and Lanz are gym buddies for lyfe.
@jonarisip wow that's very interesting..not sure how she thinks Noah amd Mio are toxic as it seems like the perfect relationship for most people? But she may have the other 2 relationships spot on!?
@@MrMarvell I'll say this upfront: I don't think it's the perfect relationship either. At the very least, I don't think it's one that should be modelled IRL, since their relationship developed mostly in reaction to the story beats, as opposed to organic, character-based reasons.. if that makes sense. Which is why I think they have the ability to work things out when the adventure ends. I believe my sister thinks they're toxic because she never jived with the redemptive theme of the game. So, she'd rather consider Noah and Mio as completely separate entities. Noah and Mio are supposed to be contrasted with N & M. Without that contrast, they seem less grounded. I don't think she believes people can change that much... she's young, she'll get there :)
@jonarisip I think the point is, they don't even change that much. It is just a small step for Noah's character to go from protective to possessive. He even acknowledged this himself when talking to N. Same goes for Mio, she always just wanted to live the life they had together, be it as Mio or as M.
