I really love all the EKG rhythm videos you made. It's simple and easy to understand.. more videos and continue this educational UA-cam video. Thank you
During the end of my endoscopy I had a significant bleed and was given epinephrine and I immediately have a First degree heart block. I was sent to the ER for about 5 hrs. A cardiologist came to visit me, and checked the blood test and EKG and found me to be normal. 4 yrs. later it still shows up, but, I am asigmatic for heart problems.
@@MossyMozart Many docs don't care or don't study supplements and finer points about medication side effects. Many recite a script. They wont talk to you about stuff like this. Last year when I posted this I learned so much from people on UA-cam and other platforms. Like I learned that Berberine and beta blockers are not a good mix. No doc ever told me that. And I had an appointment or two with them and they were uninterested. I had to teach myself with the hel p of others. Don't knock people who ask questions on UA-cam.
Wondering... my heart beat was irregular - diagnosed with A-FIB. Had a synchronized CardioVersion done and NOW have a 1st degree AV Block. Cause and effect? Did the CardioVersion CAUSE my. 1st degree AV BLOCK?
Great video! I had an ECG done recently and I was surprised to learn that I had several abnormalities in my ECG: Sinus bradycardia (42), first degree AV block, sinus arrhythmia, high voltage QRS, and early reporlarisation. I'm 55 y.o. asymptomatic and I train in endurance sports 7-10 hour per week (XC skiing and cycling). Should I be worried about does findings? Thanks
So the medicines that we may be taking for our heart may be causing the problem with our heart. Could it continue to get worse over time? Is there any way to avoid this?
If patient with first degree AV block is asymptomatic and is on Amlodipine for BP control, do I need to change medication or just interval monitoring is fine?
Hello, I just got my EKG back today and he said I was 1 degree AV block I was wondering would this affect my surgery that I'm getting on January 30 which is a panniculectomy will I be fine being put to sleep?

I was diagnosed with first degree AV block and based on the intimidating name, I was initially terrified. But thankfully it is benign.

You probably had the block before your endoscopy - bleeding doesn't cause you to suddenly develop one, I don't think.
A great way to start my morning- thanks!
Just what I needed. 💜 Thanks.
Thank you for this simple yet informative video. Easy to understand👍

What are the symptoms if you have First Degree Av Block. For example, would you feel more tired or have less energy? Thanks.
it has no symptoms and it's not dangerous !
Nothing, only bradycardia while sleeping (lowest rate was 47 beats per minute) but you don't realize because you're sleeping.
Thank u very much for your efforts, lots of love from nepal, wish your channel grows every day 🙏
Hey Medzcool! What software did you use to make this video; I love the effects!
I’m using the adobe creative cloud suite of applications.
Thank you! Love the presentation! Very informative!
This is the best video. So crisp, clear, succinct and informative. Can OTC supplements also contributes to First Degree AV Block findings on EKG?
Ask your doctor, not anonymous folks on UA-cam. ^_^ There are meds that can cause it.
