FS 2001-SRNB Attack Siren Test St. John, IN 12/1/18

- Siren: FS 2001-SRNB AC/DC, 2.8 RPM, 761 Hz
Town: St. John, IN (Lake County)
Location: Sports Complex
Test Time: 1st Saturday 12 PM CST every month
Cycle: 3 minutes of attack
Other notes: I'm glad to see Lake County is actually doing attack as their primary signal now and that 4004 in Lowell wasn't just a fluke. A pretty typical 2001 for the area. With the rain and wind today, I set up inside my car.
I was going to do Tippecanoe County today as well, but Noie said they cancelled, so I'm glad I didn't go there. I have a video from Newton County as well, but that will come later as my original export screwed up on that video.

You beat me to a siren I've been wanting to film forever... and it's like 5 min from my house! I'm just never up on the first Saturday of the month... I was stuck down here in Tippecanoe County where they did sadly cancel their test... weather was fine for a test too.
Yeah, I'm not sure why they cancelled. One of my friends said they called the day before and they already decided to cancel it. I didn't know this siren 5 minutes from you. What do you do in Tippecanoe County?
@@TommyBNSF I called TEMA the day before too and they said it was still on and that it'd likely be a day of decision, I wonder if they cancelled shortly after I talked to them or if the person I spoke to had no idea what was going on. I'm in Tippecanoe County because I attend Purdue studying Network Engineering Technology. I'm probably gonna try and get one of the 8 RPM Highland 2001s when I'm home for Christmas break.
I like the pocsag activation
Nice Job! I’m hopefully getting an SRNB next Saturday.
