How to create Circle/Shape Masking Effect in Final Cut Pro

In this quick tutorial we go over how to easily create a shape mask effect in Final Cut Pro X. This is also known as the circle face-cam effect, its become a popular effect used by many of todays top UA-cam Channels and breaks the boring mold of the regular picture in picture rectangular frame.

I think you also have a tracker feature on the shape, that can track your face and make sure to keep it in the middle of the circle at all times. Did you try that to see if that works as expected?
