    Always looking forward to whatever content you put out. You can feel the effort in the videos. Currently practicing Ed. Think his combos are fun to perform AND watch. Super helpful video!

      Thx, what a great start to my day reading this 🥹🙌 this is exactly my strategy for my channel. I wanna help people enjoy learning and I wanna make well edited stuff that I can feel proud about. Thats why I rarely make the content farming reaction videos; i don’t really enjoy them (time pressure to be first) and a hundred others will make the same video with the same thumbnail. Really happy you spot the effort in them, made my day 🙏

    Great vid iZonk, we got some cool matches in casual a few days ago ( Ryu player wesker ) i'd like to have your opinion on ED match ups and what do you think he need in the future patch for buffs.

      Ggs! He has quite a lot of flaws as of right now. His uppercuts as way too slow..that makes him very awkward to AA with. His jabs have little range. His clp is -5 on block and not cancelable (DI is a real problem because of that). His mid screen throw leaves him soooo far away, so all pressure ends when he throws.
      Those are the 3 biggest issues. Other than that, he isnt great against zoners like Guile.
      I think of all the things mentioned, i would like clp to be cancelable and light dp to be faster. That wont make him top tier but would take away a lot of frustrating moments.
      Better throw oki would really make him powerful, they wont do that i think

    Nice video bro im struggling alot with ed, ive got his combos down but i just feel as i have a gameplan issue. I took a break from sf6 for tekken but now i came to play him do i just need to work on fundamentals and he will become alot better to use ?

      Thx! Welll, he struggles in the “basic gameplan” department. Thats because his better moves encourage people to jump in, they already jump a lot and Eds uppercut is so so so slow. Twice as slow as all other characters. I advise you to play them for the jump in and use his hk to AA, then kill rush forward from that AA and pressure them. Use st mk into drive rush to whiff punish and keep it simple!

    A typical Ed´s procedure is that, after a throw on the corner, you can charge your m net to trap the rival as soon as he wakes up. However if he does DI, there´s nothing we can do, right? He will hit us; We have to observe the rival´s patterns and have a guess.

      You can kill rush back in reaction to the DI. You can then DI back most characters. I tried in on a lot of characters. Ken has a very long DI, his is hard to avoid but Luke for instance, you can def kill rush back out of his DI range and punish him. Either with your DI or something quicker like hp into ex net, which is always a good thing to do there 😎

      @@iZonkGaming2021 Happy to tell you that, after throwing the opponent on the corner, it´s possible completely charging your net, throw it and if the opponent reacts with DI right after he wakes up you can react with your DI right after you recover from SNATCHER, (no need to kill rush back), the timing is very tight, but it´s possible.

    0:39 is the move called snatcher, this is HK it is an anti-air? Glad to see you got most opponents on it. But what if they did not jump?

    • @iZonkGaming2021
      @iZonkGaming2021  10 місяців тому +2

      Yea you tap it to AA and you hold it to pull them in. I can use this AA one or a grounded one, that pulls in even on block. The opponent cant see which version im holding. As im holding the snatcher, i can kill rush (command dash) out forward or backward, so if they dont jump i will kill rush cancel out of it.

      @rmcf3972 good luck, Its hard (the snatcher). The regular AA (hk) into kill rush for oki is much easier to implement, I would start there!

    I´ve watched other Pro Ed players and I love the way you nicely "abuse" Ed´s snatchers. I checked your profile to watch more of your combats using Ed to learned ever more same way I made to learn SFV cody, but only found Ryu. I guess old ones get automatically erased as you play, right?

    • @iZonkGaming2021

      Yes replays get erased after every rank reset. My ed should still be there but I’ve played for weeks now with ryu..

    Why back dash to react to DI, when you could DI back?

    • @iZonkGaming2021
      @iZonkGaming2021  10 місяців тому +3

      Because once you charge the snatcher, you are stuck, its like a stance. You cant do anything besides releasing it (he will shoot the net, takes forever) and kill rushing forward or backward. You cant DI or do anything else, its very commital
