The abilities from interrogation only applies to Mistwalker units! So of course it won't show up for normal spearmen units and others! I suppose Etharion/Yvresse is kinda streamlined for using Mistwalker units.

So Vaul's Hammer was the reason you didn't need a seige attacker unit when attacking Elessaeli!? Since that could break down a wall, and your troops could walk into the city then.
Indeed! I didn't realize it until we had dropped the first hammer!
As a heads up, i'm pretty sure that you only keep the interrogation bonus while the captured unit is alive.
