You have to trade millions for 100k. Thousands for hundreds. So you need big money to make money. Try buying currencies on MetaTrader 4. 1000 will give you like 120 if done right.

He's a student of Timothy Sykes. I don't know why he avoids the question when Andrew asks how he learned. Then Andrew asks how much he traded with to make $200k and he avoids that too... This was a very odd interview.
Lol probably because he also learn from other people so hes not stricktly just a student of tim but he is a student of tim and others and he probably does not know off the bat how much he risked to make 200k as thats something you have to calculate unless you can find it on his profitly by multipling the position size with the price of the stock then you have to consider the leverage trade zero gives.
He learned from Tim about basics, but most of the other advance concepts that made him a millionare he learned from other traders.
He has videos on his own channel explaining everything you mentioned
yeah that was reaally weird when he didn't give a straight answer... but if you guys look at when he showed the P/L broker statements.. You can see that he traded with the max of $712K and minimum of $30K. I guess he didn't want to just say it out loud .. lol idk.. trading with the much is insane.. but he has experience so yeah.
ik this dudes strategy, been following him for awhile now. He avoids telling the audience that he learnt from Tim Sykes because Sykes course was basic and had very little to do with his success. Dux had created his own strategy instead of following Sykes. And also, Sykes is not the only person he learnt from. Steven Dux also learn from Tim Grittani and from many other sources as well.
Steven Dux’s trading strategy is “First Red Day” and “Double Top”. He has back tested these two strategies to the point where he realized that it wins about 80% of the time (winning meaning the chart goes the way he wants). Because of this, he risks around 20-40% of his account capital and is the reason he was able to make HUGE gains in such a short period of time ($27k to $900k in one year). In case you didn’t understand the 20-40% bit, most stock traders will say “only risk 1-2% of your account capital at MAX”!
So yeah, he’s a very different stock trader from the rest, if there’s one person to learn from it would be him lol.
Plus his trades are verified, nothing made up. He literally showed his tradezero statement for the month in his video lol.

Each day is a different playing field which means various levels of risk. Understanding your level of risk at a given moment should dictate how much you are willing to lose hence how much you shoud position each trade. Sometimes its too much to explain in a short video, the markets are continously so he was being genuine by not giving a fixed amount when he knows some days will be small size while others he may go in big. Hope this helps.

@no no no shorting stocks is very hard. You often get bad fills or can't borrow unless you have a good broker, your risk is unlimited if not managed, you stand to only make 100% at very most if the stock goes to 0 (unless leverage). List goes on.

Dux is a good dude. He's basically a penny stock shark. His examples were perfect. Someone who buys a stock at $5 and the next week it goes to $1 they are pissed and scared. So they hold and hold. After 5 months that stock comes back to $5 and that person just wants out immediately to break even because they have tied up money for so long and made nothing they need the money back. He's shorting that stock at $5 while they're selling too. He profits immensely.

The reason this interview comes across as sketchy is because of the gap in knowledge butween Dux and Andrew on the subject. Steven Dux is a beast, his strategies work, backtesting (statistics) is real and the basis of forming any strategy, and there's a huge amount of solid, free material on his channel. Shorting micro-cap stocks is definitely not for beginners tho. Demo trade them, then get rich in a few years!

the thing that sucks about trading stocks w little capital is the day trading regulations... it takes days for one trade to clear. after one trade its not possible to trade again for a couple days without regulation violations.
To sum it up, he is saying that he short the stock at resistance level. Which of course is not what he's really doing to make money. Even my grandma knows to short at resistance and buy at support.
