      Amazing reaction! Like always. There’s no more season of WV, this is a miniserie that will connect with other projects like Spider-man No Way Home, Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, The Marvel’s (Captain Marvel 2).
      I hope you and your wife now continue with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. WandaVision was good, a little disappointing with the ending for me as a fan of the characters, but still had an amazing acting, good cinematography and it was a good show, especially for all the risk they took with this and how outside of the box from everything else in the MCU.
      The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it’s more of the typical MCU stuff, but they did a really good job, the only critique I have with that show it’s one of the villains but that’s all. The character development from Sam, Bucky and another character was amazing, the action was good, the acting was good from a lot of the actors and I liked more TFTWS, currently waiting for Loki like everyone else, I can’t wait.

      I feel like she'll never get a really happy ending. I'm hoping her story arc really truly takes an evil direction so she can be the next big bad, on Thanos level. Because she really gets the short end of the stick every time, so I want her to take her happiness and in the process give us a new exciting villain. We'll see her in Dr. Strange 2.

    • @reynaldolorenzo8409
      @reynaldolorenzo8409 3 роки тому

      @@marlon-eric Yeah, she doesn’t, Wanda is a tragic character. This is controversial because in the MCU the character powers aren’t portrait that accurate. Thor, Hulk and Doctor Strange can take Wanda, so she can’t be a solo villain, also she doesn’t have a good motivation. Why would you want Wanda to be a villain?
      She is learning dark magic tho from the Darkhold, that book has Vampire, Werewolves and other stuff, so I think that’s how they’re going to get them in the Mcu for Blade.
      But yeah, i can’t wait to see her team up with Strange in DS2.

      The family fight position was a The Incredibles shout out.
      1. Wanda kills Vision.
      2. Thanos revives and kills Vision.
      3. Wanda sees Sword dissecting dead Vision.
      4. She sees her created Vision as dead Vision.
      5. White Vision attempts to kill her.
      6. She deletes her created Vision.
      Then add the kids and fake Pietro and the vision of dead fake Pietro.
      Fury in space was the post credits in Spider-Man: Far From Hone.
      Monica has two separate superhero names.
      This show is odd in that it had a huge amount of nods to the comics but almost none actually panned out, as Agatha was actually Wanda's mentor.

    Regarding White Vision... Just because you have the memories doesn't necessarily mean he has the correct emotional ties to those memories. Picture him sort of as an amnesia patient in that regard. That's not to say it can't or won't be restored, who knows, but currently he's a Vision that's at least aware of who he is and what he's capable of, which is probably for the best for humanity. Haha.

    It's not as simple as Vision simply using a paradoxical statement to confuse White Vision like the way Kirk used to beat AI in Star Trek. Vision actually convinced White Vision that the premise he was basing his actions on was flawed. He merely used a paradoxical thought experiment as a metaphor for their situation. What he said was completely correct, there was no trickery involved - neither of the Visions can be truly considered to be the original, yet at the same time, either could be reasonably considered a continuation of the original. Is a perfect copy the same being? Are any of us truly the same individual we were a year ago? What is a person? There is no definitive answer.
    Both Visions were rational, logical beings, and what I like about their confrontation is it is a legitimate philosophical debate, rather than an attempt to get one over on the other. Both are interested in reaching the truth of the matter.

    Just an FYI it is highly unlikely the “Fietro’s” real name is actually Ralph Bohner. Agatha entered the Hex after it was already up, which means she moved into the house of someone Wanda had already “cast”. Ralph is the name Wanda gave him just like she gave everyone else show names in Westview.

    My theory about Monica is that she earned her power because of 2 facts :
    She was the only one who enter twice in Wanda worlds
    And 2 it might be because she got vanished and reappeared from the snaps ...
    My theory go further... To all those that vanished and reappeared are potentially future Mutants.... Remember Marvel want to introduce the x-men very soon...
    The infinity Stones have all sort kind of power. Power that Mutants have ... Super strength, mind control, etc etc... Vision got his power from the mind stone... So Wanda and so Monica

    The Darkhold is canon in the comics. It was part of a story arc in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The problem with that book is that it's full of evil, and the more you read it, the more it can corrupt.
    Wanda having her witch side study the book, like is definitely dangerous.
    Her hearing her children could be Mephisto manipulating her from another realm to trick her to help free him. I think she may still free them, somehow.

  • @FrozenTundra88

    Both of the series' two villains got the punishments they deserve. Agatha (who is still entertaining and fun due to Kathryn Hahn's performance) is trapped in the role she made for herself to manipulate things and steal Wanda's power for herself while the irredeemable douchebag (as anyone who would shoot kids is) who is Hayward is off to jail (for good hopefully). Though much like with Loki, Agatha is just entertaining enough that I do want her character to return at some point, which I assume is why her fate is conditional and can be undone at the drop of a hat by the caster.
    Also excited to see where Wanda's story goes next. Elizabeth Olsen is co-starring with Benedict Cumberbatch in the next Doctor Strange, but I hope this wasn't her final interaction with Monica. They understand one another due to their respective losses and grief, though Wanda's was constant and happened time and time again to the point you almost have to think fate is simply wanting to keep her miserable.
    Some react with wariness to her reading the Darkhold, but honestly, why wouldn't she? There's literally a whole chapter about her in that book. She said she was going to understand her powers so as to not repeat this pain unintentionally inflicted and the literal source material on her powers is probably the best way to do that. And I suspect we're getting some Young Avengers stuff in the future and not just because of Billy and Tommy (who I do hope are able to return, given that little cliffhanger).

    • @ldkinbote
      @ldkinbote 3 роки тому +1

      Hayward was mainly trying to create (reanimate) an extremely powerful weapon that he could control. He didn't care about the people involved or who could get hurt. He really was only salivating at getting his hands on A Vision. He didn't seem to care which. Just because Wanda could be considered the bad guy, doesn't mean the person or people against her are the good guys or they mean well. If we assume he meant well, we also have to give Wanda's intentions equal consideration. She most definitely had a mental break & wasn't intentionally hurting people. Even in the finale she didn't seem to consciously realize she was hurting the people until they told her so in their own words.

    • @juicyfruit4494
      @juicyfruit4494 3 роки тому +2

      Regardless if you’re conscious or not to the fact that you’re hurting people you are still hurting them. That doesn’t make it OK. And just for contextHalf of the universe had been dusted buy a mad Alien Titan. That’s sort of what sword is supposed to prevent, so wouldn’t that be their job to find any means necessary to protect their planet. So sure he was salivating to get his hands on vision but what evil plans did he have?? Besides stop a witch from torturing thousands of relatively innocent people because she can’t get over her boyfriends death.

    • @ldkinbote
      @ldkinbote 3 роки тому +1

      @@juicyfruit4494 Boyfriend, parents, and brother. Not to diminish the fact that this person lost any and everyone she cared about. But, this is not about justifying Wanda's actions, 'cause I'm not, this is about sizing up whether, in comparison, who could be called "the good guy" or "the bad guy." I also didn't say that what Wanda did was OK. I said that Wanda definitely could be considered the bad guy here because of her actions, but I wouldn't classify her as a villain because she was unaware of her actions. Think of a child that shoots someone but didn't understand what a gun was. The child did a potentially horrible thing, but it is not a villain. A villain has knowledge of what they're doing and they justify their disregard for those they might hurt as collateral damage in getting to their goal of...whatever. They disregard other potential avenues that might cause less harm because it doesn't fit into their, usually, fear-based solution. I'm not saying that the situation of "The Blip" wouldn't freak ANYONE the hell out, but if you're in charge of an organization, cooler heads need to prevail and simply trying to kill what's frightening you (which you could not rationally kill 'cause you're massively outgunned) is not the smart move. Like I said, even if you give him the benefit of the doubt of his intentions being good, he was willing to kill whomever might get in the way. He sent white Vision in there, admittedly a hugely powerful weapon, with some idea that he could (probably) control it. It's directive was the destroy the Vision. Nothing about keeping casualties as low as possible or protecting the people of the town from Wanda. He was also willing, before that, to fire a missile in a residential neighborhood on the chance he could destroy Wanda. SWORD IS suppose to guard against threats originating from outside of the Earth, but that doesn't give them complete leeway to basically be scorched earth in their actions as a justification of POSSIBLY stopping a perceived boogeyman. We don't know exactly what his evil plans would be, but we can see his judgment and temperament is not the kind of person who should be making those decisions because he is making them based on fear of the unknown rather than figuring out how to diffuse the situation. He never thought to do that and didn't want to listen to anyone who had suggestions to do so. He's not the type of person that should be in charge of a power weapon let alone a powerful organization with powerful weapons. This is definitely not a black & white situation of hero and villain. I would say that in this complex situation, Wanda is the bad guy but Hayward is the villain, even though he has less overall power. His actions were fear-based, intentional with an "ends justify the means" mentality. Wanda left, in part, 'cause she was ashamed but also probably so she wouldn't have to face consequences, at least until she figures out what she is. So yeah, she's not the hero. Just a messed up person who's REALLY powerful.

Wanda kept them captive all this time and at the same time tortured them with her nightmares, to finally go away slowly, and Agatha was punished for the fact that she wanted to take the power from Wanda who was unable to cope with her, and she was punished quite cruelly. And this line by Monica about how They don't understand what she's been through. Seriously ?! after all, they felt all the pain and regret all this time :)

    Hi, just wanted to say I love you guys and your video reactions! Not sure if you take requests/suggestions here, but could you do a reaction on the 6 episode miniseries called "GOOD OMENS? It's based on the graphic novel series of the same name. It's about the last angel and demon from biblical times living in today's modern world who have to work together to avoid Armageddon...the end of times. I think you'll like this comedy/drama about a very unlikely friendship...

    I loved this series but the biggest flaw for me was the Quicksilver McGuffin. I was so excited that maybe they were crossing over some of the original X-Men actors to the MCU, but no....we get Ralph Bohner.....:(

    Just an FYI - There is no season 2 planned as of now. This plotline is rumored to be continued in the next Doctor Strange film, *_The Multiverse of Madness_* .
    I was curious to see your reaction to the finale as a lot of UA-cam CC's reactions... I don't know what the right word is... let me down, so to speak?
    So, what Wanda did was wrong. And there are no caveats or 'buts' to what she did. We don't get to mentally & physically subdue others (much less a whole town of people) because something bad happens to us or because we had a bad day and the show never really addresses that. A Person who accidentally kills someone (involuntary manslaughter/manslaughter) is still held accountable for their death.
    Once Wanda realized what she was doing and then made the conscience *CHOICE* to continue to do it, that *IS* the moment of contention and she can no longer be "...I don't know what happen..." or "...I didn't mean to hurt anyone...". I can only hope that she is in some way held accountable for what she did. That a lot of us as viewers are so quick to let her off the hook is concerning me. Says a lot about us as a society. She shouldn't get special treatment because she's the star of the show. No one, hero or not, should be above the law. You can best believe if I were to go kidnap a whole town of people (regardless of the reason why I did it) and separate them from their children, there would be consequences.
    In any event, as always, great reaction.

      I think she’s just saying that they’ll view her as the witch she is even when she herself has experienced her own loss and suffering just like every human there. It’s not about justification more just understanding

      @@alexroth882 perhaps but she also said if she could she would have done the same thing as Wanda , I understand it wasn't intentional but it was wrong those people suffered terribly and it was hardly heroic like Agatha said . There was no consequences for her , and Hayward is an issue wat exactly was he arrested for ? he had authority in the situation and money isn't a believable motive , he opened fire on the boys but they were technically an illusion, and visions body how did he acquire it , it was left in wakanda and was made from stolen vibranium from wakanda it would have been kept by them and how did it work it seems to have a stark like power source but equal to vision with an infinity stone ? seems odd , but a government spook type making a weapon is not a crime they would give him a medal and at worst he would lose his job , people like him have immunity from prosecution , imagine him in court he opened fire on a magical target that doesn't exist and I doubt attempted murder charges would hold up in court and they seem to have forgotten why Jimmy was in town in the first place , and not American but I believe witness protection is handled by the federal Marshall service not the FBI. ( I'm aware they had to change somethings from original plans for various reasons)

      @@shanenolan8252 I'm guessing the consequences of Wanda Vision will be Act 1 of Doctor Strange 2. There will be consequences. Probably lots. Wanda Vision shows us what happens when someone who can Alter Reality suffers from extreme PTSD in the same way that Logan showed us what happens when the world's most powerful Telepath suffers from dementia. In addition to the weight of great responsibility, great power also requires great discipline. Because her powers are natural to her, Wanda has not had to earn her abilities with effort and the discipline that follows, nor has she reckoned with the responsibility that comes with the power she bears, but she will. Mordo (from Dr. Strange) is right about when he says that, "The bill always comes due," and Wanda has run up a huge tab. I have sympathy for her, she has never had a teacher, she was thrust into danger by Hydra and the Avengers, and she broke after she lost all the people she loved. However, regardless of the traumas we suffer, we are always responsible for our actions and reactions.

      @@shanenolan8252 I'm not sure how the MCU will handle it, but in the comics, the author of that book is the Marvel version of the Cthulhu (Chthon). Chthon is also the being who gives Wanda her Chaos Magic. The book is a portal to his realm and his way back to ours. I have heard that the villain of Dr. Strange 2 is another Cosmic Horror named Shuma-Gorath, so they may give this plot threat to him. Nothing good ever comes from the Darkhold. It is the MCU version of the Necronomicon.

      It doesn't matter that they weren't "real", what matters is that she lived those experiences, felt those emotions, made those memories. We are the sum of our own experiences. She still sacrificed, despite the fact that it was mostly a complex illusion.
      If you've ever watched the Star Trek the Next Generation episode "The Inner Light", then you should be able to grasp that an "illusion" can matter.

      Oh I get the “Illusion”. But what about the thousands of peoples “Reality”. Who had no choice. They even said children have been stuck in there rooms the whole time. And apparently they are all aware of it. So I’m sorry if I’m not sympathetic to the fake children that she experienced. But I am more concerned with the hundreds of real children that are being tortured. I love Wanda but she is a terrible terrible person and nobody in their right mind could justify what she did especially as a sacrifice.

And sure I get she’s going to be one of the bad guys in multi-verse of madness. But she was one of my favorite characters and actors and the show is a huge left down.
