I have this neighbor who hit puberty and this was his favorite band, Simple Plan. But we're not close, I was just a kid just watching stuff every time someone would put a coin in a video karaoke machine in our neighborhood. I remember it dearly when he sang this song and played the music video, I was the only kid who was willing to watch the show. It's just clearly painted in my head how the song ended with the shout of "lie". It leaves a pang right out of my heart! It was my last time seeing him because he went to the city and find a job there. He was the one who opened the emo, punk band in my life. I hope he's now doing well.
