I've been going through a pretty bad time for what feels like forever. Today I woke up and thought of this song, thought it might help. The ending of this video caught me so off guard. It made me realize I really need to go to therapy for my Dad's extremely sudden death when I was young teen and how I almost lost my Mom in her grief for him. So, I guess it is finally time to uncork all that. Thank you Nickelback. I think I needed to see this somehow.

15 years ago I had severe depression this song helped feed that depression! It was there for all my dark nights. It held me tight. After I had found help. I was finally able to come back to it and didn’t a new meaning! 15 years later. I can finally say I survived. I can finally say I survived. I will give all my credit to this song! Why I felt alone in my darkest days. This song was always their on repeat. Every mark on my wrist! Every pill I took this song was there! Unfortunately that’s the only memories I have of it. This time I’m going to make new memories! If you suffer with depression and you are reading this please reach out to me! I know the feeling! I know the pain! I know the hurt! This song got me going through my rehab days..and kept me reminding of my life whenever I feel weak.
I bought their greatest hits album knowing i wasn't a big fan but i believe they finally won me over. One of the last great Rock bands

Nickelback was a mainstay of my burned CD lists back in the early 2000's. Vague memories came back to me as I rewatch this video almost 20 years later, not fully remembering how this story went. It immediately came rushing back to me as his milk footprints did not materialize, and it almost brought me to tears.

So, I heard this song in the radio when it first came out. Loved it. Throughout the years, I know that Nickelback had a reputation, yet in MY opinion, they make some pretty good songs! This one in particular is one of my favorites. Lastly, and get this… they opened up for Bon Jovi in’06/‘07. They were PHENOMENAL live!
