what software did you use to scan this rock? Also your approach to smooth and calm voicing is very likeable, unlike other tutorials where they speak in a hurry, your voice makes me grasp the topic easily! Thank you.
Glad you like it! For scanning I'm using the desktop version of Photocatch. It's a Mac specific application using Apple's photogrammetry SDK. If you're on a PC you can use Reality capture. You can get some great results with it.
You could try using Photoshop for painting the texture, but it's going to be a hard task since you won't have the instant feedback (along with other helpful tools) of an app like Painter. Seeing what you're painting on the actual model will make a world of difference. The substance apps are not free but the subscription is relatively cheap. It's approximately 17 dollars per month.
@@marvelousdecay It may seem cheap but when you add it on to all the other relatively "cheap" apps you already have subscriptions to it becomes expensive. Would be nice if you updated this tutorial with a free option that works just as well or showed people how to do in photoshop.
Excellent content and explanation ❤
Glad you liked it!
🙌 wow! thanks so much
You’re welcome!
You are the best
