@@OtakuUnitedStudio Well then, I'll throw the idea about Liege Maximo having ties to Pretender technology(See comments on Chris' video om him) into the pot. Fingers crossed.
@@OtakuUnitedStudio I think the same can be said for all types of fans. For example, Disney made a cartoon series, 101 Dalmatian Street, which tells the story of a new modern 101 Dalmatians, the mother of which is the great great granddaughter of Pongo and Perdita. Many fans have theorized that two of the main puppies; DJ, a chill musician boy, and Da Vinci, an expressionistic painter girl, share a close bond because they each specialize in a type of art. When war wears you down, nothing gets the gears turning like Maccadam's finest fuel. There's no drink like it on Cybertron, or in the entire galaxy! So good that enemies will lay down their weapons and sit down near for a few hours just to have it.
I also thought that was weird, especially when you look at his IDW incarnation who was one of the few on the Lost Light who did not get drunk. Even the whole socializing bit is not really a part of his character. The only thing I can think of is that he was concerned that Hot Rod would take over and that would be pure chaos.

This is another great example of why I love Transformers. From the obscure one-off idea of a neutral bar in the middle of a civil war with a mysterious owner to the headquarters of an underground resistance bartended by the last of the Thirteen Primes, it's ideas like these that get passed from one author to another, from fan to fan, changing and becoming more that makes me love this franchise.

The idea that a soft spoken eccentric barkeeper secretly being a demigod from ancient myth is so crazy and out of left field I’m surprised it hasn’t been adopted into D&D yet. Then again my D&D knowledge is so little, so I could be talking Serilium Salami
This one is unusual Chris I don't remember that there was a bar for the transformers LoL I must be getting old. Great video though thanks hope you guys be safe and have a good weekend
I really liked this one. Not a regularly appearing character or subject but something strange and obscure that has more interest and significance than you might think.
I think an interesting topic for "The basics" episode would be a transformers' routine: what they do in their free time, how they hang out in breaks between battles, what kinds of hobbies they could have and things like that.
I do remember getting an achievement from Fall of Cybertron, saying McCadams old oil house. It was in the escalation game mode. It was the one with onslaught, brawl, swindle, and quake. When I got the alert noise I was happy to see that pop up.
I've never really like this kind of humanisation of Transformers, it is a bit lacking in imagination. But the integration of Alchemist did alleviate that somewhat. Kudos to you for that Chris, I believe.
You need to ask the artist if they based his design on Thew Adams. I mean Thew is a big, bearded, chill, reviewer that knows a lot about TFs and who IS known to partake of the liquid fuel occasionally. It's like they saw the name and went "I can make an homage easter egg out of this."
You were the one who helped make Alchemist Prime into Maccadam? You sir are grade-A awesome, well even more so than you were for making The Basics in the first place.
That's it. Even if I can't request a basics video (yet) I'm becoming a patreon. I mean, I haven't gotten around to watching Cyberverse yet, but I thought the idea of an original Prime being a bar tender was a really fun idea. Looking forward to more great basics!
Y'know, since Maccadam and his Old Oil House exsists in all universes (or at least used to), you'd think he would have been a guest on Ask Vector Prime, kinda like Sideways and Cy-Kill but friendlier.

Comments from a day ago? But it's just got released?
Awesome episode tho 👌
Possibly comments from people who got early access.
Patreon supporters get to see it Friday.
Petition for Thew Adams to voice Maccadam in the next series.
Stunticons next?
this was waaay cooler than i anticipated, and yes, now i fancy a pint.
9:01 Now, is it just me, or are those Sentinels from The Matrix?
@Bill O'Brien To be fair, the Quintesson Judges already looked kind of similar and came first. Cyberverse though, they REALLY pushed it.
The idea that a soft spoken eccentric barkeeper secretly being a demigod from ancient myth is so crazy and out of left field I’m surprised it hasn’t been adopted into D&D yet.
Then again my D&D knowledge is so little, so I could be talking Serilium Salami
Sounds like something Odin would do
This one is unusual Chris I don't remember that there was a bar for the transformers LoL I must be getting old. Great video though thanks hope you guys be safe and have a good weekend
I really liked this one. Not a regularly appearing character or subject but something strange and obscure that has more interest and significance than you might think.
If Maccadam was a human celebrity, he would be MaccADAM WEST the Iriginal Batman. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Or thew adams
@@nightlypiano41 He has the beard.
I'm secretly convinced Thew is a Prime and Maccadam's alt-mode.
@@Levitz9 Plot twist: Thew is Maccadam disguised as a Human
@@Levitz9 so the shadow in cyberverse is thew with a bunch of rocket launchers?
Your suggestion of Maccadam as Alchemist Prime was, brilliant.
Is that you thew
I come back to this video every now and then just because Mac is one of my all time favorites
This is awesome . Thanks for creating these informative videos on Transformers characters . This is one of my favorites . Great job
I never thought there could be so much lore behind a humble bar.
Every time I think I know about a subject, you come along and blow my mind. You deserve way more subs
His alternate mode is so monstrous and weapon heavy it makes Megatron and his men terrified. Now that is a feat worthy of a prime.
*watching this episode while cracking a cold one in my own self-contained birthday watchalong*
Very educational. I really enjoyed this story of Cybertronian history and one of its humble founding Primes.
Love that at least there's a place to kick back for a while from the war for both autobots and decepticons alike.
Y'know, since Maccadam and his Old Oil House exsists in all universes (or at least used to), you'd think he would have been a guest on Ask Vector Prime, kinda like Sideways and Cy-Kill but friendlier.
