I tested my daughter who's 6 years old with a friend in London. My wife and I watched tbe whole show just 30 feet away, we asked her friend a lady to do this to her. Offer her some sweets and walk off and keep her busy until shes out of sight.. she was quite loud and vocal approaching my daughter which we allowed to test her on and no one on tbe street was worried despite hearing the whole notion and witnessing it.. my kid screamed when the woman my wifes friend took her hand and peoppe said then nothing. My daughter said this isny my mommy wheres my daddy.. no response from public in tbe middle of london ar 11.30am.. when we approached my daughter she was shook up and scared shirtless people then stopped and asked what was going on. Truly dissapointed by general public and very proud of my daughter reacting the way she did. Ever since, my daughter has never left our side; were very sorry for freaking her out but it had to be done.
Yea, but when I trick or treated before when I was younger (don't go anymore). My parents would always, always, check out my candy to see if it looked like it had been opened, or if there was any punchers in the wrapper of the candy.
GTA DERP I don't. I've never gone trick-or-treating. It's sad. When the night is 'over' (9:30 since theres not many teens where I live) I just get most of the spare candy, put it in my own bowl and watch a movie. :D
I have had this thought forever. You can tell your kids twice a day and 3 times on Sunday to not talk to strangers but if you don't tell them what a stranger is it will mean Nothing. I challenge every parent, every grandparent, every aunt and every uncle to ask the children they love what is a stranger, most of them have no idea. If they have been warned repeatedly to not talk to strangers, they will most likely picture someone in their head that looks scary or mean or whatever negative things their minds are capable of coming up with. They probably wouldn't think that someone who looks "nice" would be threatening. I've spent some time considering what would be the best definition for children of any age. A stranger is someone you don't know. Obviously not all strangers are bad people and you don't want your child to be paralyzed with fear. If anyone has more to share I would be glad to hear it and I'm sure others would too.
Lol this happened to my niece and a guy gave her candy she took the candy kicked him in the leg and ran away screaming "STRANGER DANGER!!!" The guy was my uncle .... My family is such a savage
StuntManE Since you mention it, I just read an article in the paper last month on 'what's women greatest sexual fantasy in today's world' and it was stated that 47% of women in the U.S. fantasize about having a one nite stand with a complete unknown young stranger. With the relation between moms and their kids on this subject, so ironic isn't it?

Good ur an intelligent person bcuz me too i experienced something like that.I was in a park w/ my friend where a stranger told me that my parents told him(stranger) to fetch me. I told him show me proof. He showed me his phone that he got a call by my parents. Fortunately I knew my parents phone number and I wasn't the number that he showed me. I told him that it wasn't my parent's phone number. He got really mad and he tried to grab me by my shirt. My friend and his parents was in the toilet. I quickly Kick the guy in his Tibia and ran as fast as I could. I was screaming and the other people was trying to hold down the kidnapper. Someone called the police and since then I always go out with my parents.
When I was young, me and my friend went to shovel drive ways (in winter) then this man offered us candy at the door, he was like, "we got a bunch of candy from Halloween last week! Would you like some?" Unfortunately, my other friend wasn't too bright so he took the candy I "followed along" then We both said thank you, I said, "let's head home" so my friend opened the candy wrapper and I said, "WAIT!" He asked me what was wrong, I said, "wait till we get to your house" when we got to his house, I took both our candy and trashed it. And Said, "never take candy from strangers" he realized that and he thanked me.
***** True, but kids ALWAYS take candy from strangers on Halloween. I personally think parents should just buy the candy for their kids on Halloween and have a Halloween party. ;p
kevin kim When my grandma was little, sher sister got an APPLE from a stranger, and before her sister bit into it she cut it in half and there was a BLADE in it.
True story: me and my brother went outside and we were playing then my mom asked come inside and we said no. So then she said fine so we kept playing and then my mom came back about like 10 minutes after then she said come inside now there is a kidnapper that is in our neighborhood so me and my brother didn’t believe her then there was a creepy creepy man walking the street so we ran inside then 5 minutes later There was a Alice drill me and my brother felt stupid so we never went outside 20 days after that. I’m still scared to go outside.
I have a story (I promise it’s true): Well last year before the coronavirus I was in Poland with my Auntie and sister, it was a few days from my birthday And I was in Poland since I go there when I have school break! I was sitting on a bench finishing my ice cream with my sister and Auntie sitting with me until an elderly man walked over to me and he was holding a bottle of half drank water. He said something along the lines to me as “Here is some delicious freshly bought water little girl here have it” and I was so scared and he seemed mentally ill, my sister and auntie slipped of the bench and then My auntie kept saying “no thank you” but he kept getting closer to me until I jumped of the chair and ran. I was so scared if there was poison or Like wine or a chemical in the water..
A lady tried to get me when I was five, while my dad was playing Frisbee on a huge field. I liked looking for four leaf clovers and a lady came over and started asking me things. She wanted me to go to another part of the park to look for clovers there. That was about two miles away. I started walking away with her and one of the Frisbee players yelled at my dad that there's a lady walking away with me. He ran over and grabbed me and she took off. Always watch your kids at Parks especially big wooded ones. My dad looked away for a moment and I was almost out of sight with some creepy lady inticing me with clovers. I didn't understand at the time but it's really scary now to remember this almost happened to me.
One time my mom, my sister and I were at Denny’s when this old man came to us and offered us candy! We were all there sitting at the table!! We both looked at our mom and she said yeah sure. Then after he left she took it and said don’t accept candy from anyone without me there. So yeah, he seemed friendly but you never know 🤷🏻♀️
A week is a bit long, considering how quickly we digest food, that's more than likely a coincidence and if there was any sinister activity revolving around the cupcake or the actions of the lady, the severity would be bigger or the timeframe of the effect of whatever would be in them would take place most likely under an hour. Basically that was most likely a coincidence and the lady was just making a kind gesture.
When I was little I was in a situation kinda like this. In my grandparent’s town, there’s a man who gives out balloons. My family thinks he’s really creepy. I’ve been a really paranoid person with a huge distrust for other people my entire life. One day I’m with my family downtown, and they’ve set up chairs in the grass ( there was an event going on so this was fine, we weren’t just setting up chairs in the middle of a town ) and my mom gave me a pizza box to go throw away. The nearest trash can was across the street, so off I went. The pizza box was too wide to fit in the trash can, and my weak 8 year old self couldn’t bend it. The balloon guy comes over, takes the box from me, folds it, and puts it in the trash. I thanked him nervously and he said “ no problem. hey, want a balloon? Just come over here. “ at that point I was extra scared and said “ no thank you “ and before he could do anything else, I ran back to my family. But I can’t help but think, what if I wasn’t already scared of that guy? What if it was one of my more trusting cousins? What if I wasn’t a paranoid kid? Would I have been gone?

lots of people think that their child would not take candy or something from a stranger just because they talked about this and warned them before. thank you for showing them that is not so true and they have to do something more about it.
This happened to me and my twin when we were at the park and an elderly asked us if we wanted some gumdrops and I just ran away screaming stranger danger and my twin was like uh no thanks😂😂
When I was that age I wouldn’t even talk to a stranger because I was scared shitless of them kidnapping me. When I was around 5/6 this girl in the town next over had gotten kidnapped and it was a HUGE thing. I remember my mother using this as an example of what would happen to me if I talked to strangers. Basically the guy said he had a puppy that was lost and this girl, Samantha runnion, said she would help and he Fucking just snatched her in front of her apt complex then raped and killed her. They played the funeral on tv and I remember airplanes spelling out her name for the longest time. It’s sad but experiences like this made me aware even as a kid. Btw the guy who did this is currently is on death row.

I think more people should mash that into their kids' brains not to go with or take things from strangers, a few years back when my little sister was younger she had been told ALL her life never to talk to or take things or go with strangers and her and her friend had gone across the street to a little quickmart (literally right across the street like you take maybe 25 steps across the road and you're there, so it's not hard at all for them to get back) and as they started heading back some guy in a truck stopped and asked them if they needed and ride and then asked where they lived. Thank god my sister's friend was there with her because my little sister said yes and started to get into the guys truck and her friend stopped and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Then they ran away and came back home.
I don't know you but still please say thank you to that girl. This shows how kind/ hatefull people can be. Plus. F***K YOU DRIVER. ( even if you were literaly trying to give them a ride.) Plz like and think about this comment. Tell your kids about the dangers of strangers. (Lol that rhymed.)
Emma X what are you talking about? The objective of this video is to show that children blindly take candy from anyone, regardless of stranger danger message. How is halloween different other than the fact it's a holiday celebrated. Still dangerous people out there on halloween.
RayRoFid Most kids on Halloween are taught to check their candy and ask their parents to check their candy before eating it. People who actually approach kids at a park and ask them if they want candy usually have the intent to take them elsewhere
In this video parents tell their kids to not speak to strangers. yet kids still do because they are children.... easily tricked. In Halloween unless there are guardians next to them, they are wandering alone, knocking from door to door, asking candy from strangers. Horrible things can to them. Like I don't know, abduction maybe? Trick children for more candy in another location, so they blindly follow the stranger not knowing the dangers that could happen...... I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that the concept of halloween to take candy from strangers is dangerous.
He’s really good at showing the ways child predators can lure children. Like saying he knows that kids mom. Kids are so innocent and an older men take advantage of it so much ://
If a stranger gave me candy, I would politely say, "I'm sorry. I have severe food allergies. Thank you though." Or I would take it and say, "Thank you sir/ma'am." I would then proceed to throw it as far as I possibly could in the opposite direction and pretend to have an asthma attack.
I worked for child protective services. Parents consistently told me their children would never open the door to a stranger; yet, consistently, I was able to get children to open the door for me.

You ruin the effect if you actually remind them about not taking candy from strangers the entire point is to see how well they were taught and remembered what to do when dealing with strangers. Reminding them alters the outcome, in a real situation that wouldn't happen

I have a story (I promise it’s true):
Well last year before the coronavirus I was in Poland with my Auntie and sister, it was a few days from my birthday And I was in Poland since I go there when I have school break!
Breanna peep and misty moon.... Wow! Those are some cool yet terrifying stories!!
Yeah lol!
Is an alice drill basically an amber alert? If so what was it about?
A lady tried to get me when I was five, while my dad was playing Frisbee on a huge field. I liked looking for four leaf clovers and a lady came over and started asking me things. She wanted me to go to another part of the park to look for clovers there. That was about two miles away. I started walking away with her and one of the Frisbee players yelled at my dad that there's a lady walking away with me. He ran over and grabbed me and she took off. Always watch your kids at Parks especially big wooded ones. My dad looked away for a moment and I was almost out of sight with some creepy lady inticing me with clovers.

I’m glad you didn’t go with him - people are so unpredictable it’s scary

That's great and all but about Halloween? Kids take candy from strangers all the time.
RayRoFid hhhhhhhhhh
Those are totally different cases lol?
Thank you though."
Or I would take it and say, "Thank you sir/ma'am." I would then proceed to throw it as far as I possibly could in the opposite direction and pretend to have an asthma attack.
I’d say “BITCH FUCK OFF” no joke
A Grammar Nazi or you just simply take it and throw it into the bin...
I would say "sorry no I have diabetes if I eat it that's bad for me "
I would say "FUCK OFF" and runned
I'd kick him and than call 91/
