Predator generator inverter 8750, setup and first start up.

In this video I get my new predator generator ready to start. I install the wheels and handle. I go through the steps in the owner's manual and I start the generator. This inverter type generator and is a clean power generator. This has to do with the voltage and frequency being more consistent and is what is required for electronics. I plan on hooking up my Everlast 160 tig welder to it. The welder I have is all digital and a generator with clean power is required according to the owners manual. I bought this generator at Harbor Freight.

Does your generator power up to 240v when you turn it on? Mines only shows it powering up to 120v....

Honestly , I haven't used anything on 240v yet.

Good effort. Did you put it in actual use yet? Does it call for a ground strap of some kind when using it or just when it is connected to a breaker box?

Oh, I assumed you were asking about using my welder with it. I have at this point, but so far I have about 25 hours on the generator. And so far no issues it works fine. I usually only have a fan, a light and a power tool on it. like sawzall or drill or grinder. The welder works on it too. I've only burned about 10 rods with it though...
