SKETCHING THE FOOT

This short video is about sketching the foot and simplifying forms. This medial side of the foot has many angles and creates a challenge. The feet are challenging but its just another part of the body and we tend not to focus on this area. Keep at it and draw the foot from all angles.

I really like how you don't just rely on lines to mark out the major reference points and measurements. I wish I'd been shown that years ago. I probably wouldn't have struggled so much in life drawing classes. Good stuff 👍

Thank you Jen yes that took me a while to understand and put into use- it makes a big difference in ones ability to sculpt shapes vs flat linear approach. Cheers
