Thanks John and George for all the content and advice you have provided the Honda community. I have been watching your videos, and it has given me added confidence to do a lot of maintenance items knowing all the nuances explained via your videos in advance.
You’re welcome, thanks for Watching and being apart of it. We love what we do and share it. That’s it. Glad you’ve tackled some of your own work. It’s very satisfying doing it.
Good to see your weather occasionally reminds you of your former home 😁. The forecast for me tonight in the South where it's 'warm' is a low of -1 overnight (Celsius obvs, none of your fancy Fahrenheit over here!).👍👍👍.
As always you guys kill it with the LHT TLC on everything you guys work on! Love the content & always great to freshen us up on the maintenance. Keep up the great content! 👍👍
Believe it or not, it is worth it to ship your car from texas to have LHT john and george and ester and dog rebuild your s2000. 3 months later i am still finding things they fixed or improved and never said a word about it.
If the N/A Titanium exhaust has a Helmholtz resonator that would be very tempting. Many aftermarket exhausts forgo that and unnecessary drone is present.
Good video! I bought a 2015 CRV and when on the hiway its difficult to keep in a straight line. I have to make too many corrections. Its kinda like the steering is too stiff or doesnt have enough play. What would you think is causing this? I did have an alignment done but it didnt help.
This summer my clutch has gotten really stiff. I’m thinking a good flush and cleaning will help, but was curious if you had any other suggestions that it might be? It doesn’t seem to be leaking from the inside.
I would first flush the fluid and grease the ball on the end of the slave cylinder going into shifter folk. It’s a possibility the release bearing dry.
Two questions.. 1. do you have to bleed the brakes or can you get away with removing the fluid that's in the reservoir and refilling it? 2. What would someone do if that steering angle sensor goes and you can't find a replacement?
You can remove some of the fluid and refill It. But I’d prefer to flush it as lots of dirt and grime will always be trapped in places. Clean and grease the angle sensor, we’ve done a handful and some have lasted while some haven’t lasted past 6 months.
Is the "Easy left, hard right" a hard rule? My AP1 is easy right, hard left, my research is pointing me towards re-calibrating my torque sensor. Any input?

amazing work as always, I want to drive my ap1 to Florida just to have you look at it. 🙏
Often a squeaky clutch is caused by a nipple that forms on the slave piston. Flatten it out with a file, and Honda urea grease, works great.
hey we dont use the word 'nipple' on this channel...
@@dampbutthole3025 lol. That’s the after hours channel.

Hell yeah on that exhaust! I've kept mine stock because I think the OEM tips look the best. Looking forward to when you put it into production.
This video answered a few questions I had. Thanks

@@LHTPerformance Your welcome! Keep up the amazing Content.👍👍
Man, I am so bummed that I live so far away in Texas. I have a 2001 AP1 with 22.5k miles that I’d love for you guys to check out!
Just this past year we have two. Customers drive from Texas for soft tops. One included a full fluid change. We’re worth the drive 😉
I'm also from Texas (Houston), and I plan to come visit sometime.

You guys are GREAT ,
!
Wish I had a S2000 just to bring in, I'd like boost pipes made for my 5th gen prelude but I'm not in FL no more
If Honda no longer makes the steering angle sensor replacement part, where can one find a replacement equivalent??

UA-cam must have unsubscribed me . . . now re-subscribed
You know, I’ve heard that from a lot of people. I don’t know why that happens.

What brake fluid do you use?

Will a faulty steering angle sensor trigger the EPS light?
Not usually. That’s the PS control module located next to the battery.
Can you remind us again but what is the brake bleeding sequence for the S2000?
Starting with the drivers side front wheel, clockwise around the car.
Where did you get the steering angle sensor from?
We had it from before it was discontinued
Any good recommendations for CR lip?
If you’re local us I know someone that’s has some.

Most of the time we’ve seen it easy left. I would try to exhaust the cheaper options first.
